“Support small local businesses! Wonderful little store with excellent deli. We have vacation property in the Gorge and stop in here whenever we are passing by. Beer etc would be cheaper at the Safeways etc in Hood River or The Dalles but prefer to stop in here to support the locals. Only the last 5 years has it been "Brenna's" but the store has been here for decades and we have always gone in over 40 years for some "treats". Great people working inside. Please stop by while exploring, might see something that catches your eye!”
“Great place for a date or a family. We usually chose a couple of small pates and share. Never leave hungry or too full. Highlights include the barata, the potatoes and of course the oysters. Greay staff and a nice location.”

“I bought chicken strips for my grandson and he normally he eats one or two....today he took two bites and handed it back to me..I took a bite and the flavor was bad and it had a weird smell. I returned to the store with the chicken for a refund. Shanti and Ellie were so nice and said no problem. They were both great and understanding. Personally I think the oil was the issue. Normally the chicken is good tasting for my grandson.”
“My mother and I went gluten free about 5 years ago, and my partner has needed to go dairy free in the last year. When this first happened we had no idea where to start, what to eat and where to shop. We’ve been shopping here since, and we always find new things to try, and the prices are decent! Today was the best visit so far, the staff was so kind, especially Justin! He overheard us disappointed about a lack of product and instantly came to help us, he checked the back, and when they didn’t have it, offered to order in a case that not only would last us longer, but was a better deal overall! So thankful for this store, and the staff! Such positive and helpful energy! Thank you huckleberry hood river!”
“We made a quick stop here while we were in town for the day. I was looking for a particular vitamin supplement but their vitamin section was not as large as I expected. While we were there we picked up a few random groceries. It was a bit more pricey than what I expected but everything we bought was good- a dark chocolate bar, some apples, tortilla chips and gummies. They had an impressive meat & seafood selection but we didn’t purchase anything.”
“Small, reasonably priced, friendly, local market. Has the basics: milk, bread, baking supplies, canned goods, plus some fruit and veg. LOTS of spices, Latina specialty items (sauces, fruit juice, soda, sweets, cookies.....), kitchen items, baked goods, etc. Definitely a store for cooks! This is the closest market to my home and I'll be going there often.”

“We stopped here to stock up before heading to the Getaway House cabins, highly recommend it if you didn’t think to bring food with you. Is exactly what you’d expect, local store, prices slightly higher being so far out but they had everything we needed for a weekend trip. Thank you!”

“I stopped in for cheap chicken Monday. They had run out of chicken, but they were making more. It was definitely worth waiting for. Some of the best chicken I’ve had in a long time. Papa Frank was my cashier, and he is absolutely amazing! I always get in his line, every opportunity I can. Keep up the good work! Your team is awesome!”

“Was SHAD fishing downriver from the Bonneville Dam on the Columbia River. The day was awesome & warm, got sunburned a bit, caught a Small Mouth Bass, lots of people catching SHAD. BY the north side power house, there were maybe 100 fisher persons enjoying the event.
