Do check the expiration dates on some of the more niche or dietary-needs specific products. Almost every trip I find gluten free dry and canned goods products past their best buy dates. A few times a year I find frozen products past best buy dates. We usually go once a month for a bigger grocery run.”

“While Metropolitan market lacks a lot of vegan options, PCC has many! Lots of deli and bakery options and all are great. The peanut butter cookies are the best. They have new vegan things first like My bacon and rebel cheese (usually around the holidays). Their staff is always kind and helpful! The produce selection is also top tier, unique options and super fresh and clean.”

A small piece of nature lovers alcove; a space so liberating for its approach to wellbeing, grounded on prevention and awareness. Spent the evening here sniffing at the bottles with herbs, seeds, and flowers. Prices differ based on availability.”

“I've lived in the neighborhood 5 years so this has been my weekly store for a good while now. A few things I love:
- way cheaper than pcc and whole foods! Equal or better quality natural products
- no self check out. You might not think twice about this but I think it's a really intentional choice: it tells me they value workers & creating jobs.
- great sprouts brand items: non dairy products cheaper with cleaner ingredients than competitors, wide variety of fresh ground nut butters, etc
- $5 for a freshly made deli sandwich with super fresh ingredients. Is this 2008? That's the last time I had a good lunch so cheap!”
“I ordered through Amazon. When I went to the store for pickup the app wouldn't open. Frustrated I called the store got customer service. A very nice young woman (after a transfer) was able to local the order without the order number - foundmy order , walked it out to me a few minutes later. Confirmed it was my order. What was a frustrated beginning turned into a very pleasant and satisfying ending. Thankyou to the young lady who calmly and professionally helped me. I wish I knew her name.”

“I stopped by Whole Foods yesterday (8/16/2026, around noon) to pick up some flowers and asked a a young guy working there to help arrange a bouquet. I was lucky enough to get one of the most beautiful bouquets I’ve ever bought. (IIRC, his name is Logan)
I asked if he had studied floral design because the bouquet was so beautifully arranged, and he shyly said, “No, just practice.” You know what, I could really see the care and craftsmanship he put into something as simple as arranging a bouquet, and that made the flowers feel even more special.

“Nice store, smaller than other Whole Foods. They had fresh salads, pastas, soups, sushi, and pizza. Lots of cheese choices too. But they did not have made to order sandwiches.”
