“This is a fun place to shop. The items they have available change periodically with some extremely good deals. Produce and meats are not as good as the higher priced grocery stores but everything else is generally a bargain. They also have excellent frozen foods.”

“This place is amazing! I always stop in for a good suggestion on beer and wine. They can get the good stuff at a fair price. Very knowledgeable owner and good person.”

“Some things are a good deal. We always go there for their fresh baked in house donuts!!! Use to grab them from the gas station and found out they bake them themselves. That's awesome. Market fresh has truckload meat sales couple times a year and has a butcher waiting for you you buy meat and cut it how ever you would like. Anything from steaks to pork chops they have it all on sale then.”

“Great store, they have a little bit of everything in there. The proprietor is also one of the friendliest shop owners you'll encounter, always says good morning with a smile, staff are friendly aswell. They're not the cheapest shop in town, but they do open earlier and stay open longer than most quick stops.”

“Not always the friendliest cashiers, but they do their jobs. Unlike most corner stores, you can often find what you need if you run out of basic food items. For example I needed a can of pumpkin, and surprisingly, they had it.”

“Filling up the tank these days is hard on the bank account.Maybe if we all refused to buy gas on a certain day of the week, they'll get the hint, that this is b.s!”

“This is a little shop on the edge of town. No fuel, small selection and convenience store prices (not low), however, this little shop has shown how to treat their customers. Friendly, helpful and they leave their personal judgements at the door. Regardless of why you are in the store, they are there to help. Whether it is for junk food, alcohol, cigarettes, or an apparatus to smoke something else, they got you covered. Decent prices for the last ;)”

“This small town store & hardware covers all the necessities and some fun stuff too! Recently relocated from the city to the country and this is my go to place. The bakery person did a beautiful cake for my daughter while I waited for her 30th birthday, and it was delicious! Nice people work here.”

“Fullers has done me good. Always have what I'm looking for. Prices could be a bit more on the lean side imo, but with today's inflation you get that no matter where ya go. I've ordered 2000, yes 2000 donuts from them over the past year to feed my work staff and their always a hit. Staff is friendly and always willing to help when needed.”

“Great store. Great selection of products. Close to the College and too the Library. It is right next door too Gather Church too.Gather Church helps the homeless in our community with medical, housing, clothing, food, etc.I noticed above that someone said "that you have too deal with a lot of trashy people.". This comment was uncalled for and could have been worded better. Homeless doesn't necessary equal trashy. They're down on their luck and living outside for crying out loud! No home, no showers, no washer or dryer, no regular meals, no money to help better themselves. Have a little empathy please. And for the people that continue too judge these people based on face value I sincerely hope you NEVER become homeless and have too deal with people judging you and saying awful stuff too your face daily. It is the worst thing ever to be kicked while you're down. It makes you loose your faith and hope in mankind. As for APEX they have to have certain rules at their business too keep shoplifting down. Unfortunately :(Example: standing outside too scratch lotto tickets or wait for your food to be heated up. These are minor inconveniences to the consumer to be honest.Thank you Apex for having such a great selection of products and good customer service.4'stars !! ???????☠️”

“Great convenience store, between the two gas stations in town they have the cheapest gas, clerks are friendlier and they have hot deli food and they are open longer than the other one. Easier to get in and out of because of traffic. All around the best convenience store in Tenino of the two.”

“Looks newly built and was super clean. I've learned alot traveling over the years some by experience and some from my stepdad who was a truck driver. In general the big chain truck stops are where you want to stop if you're traveling long distances. They have larger bathrooms and have more employees so are usually very clean. Love's and Flying J truck stops are the best and I always look for them when I need to stop for gas or breaks.”

“Support this business! I'm an Edison district local who has been going to this store for as long as I've been alive (I'm 24 now). Although ownership has changed over my lifetime, the quality service and homey feel has not.”

“I drove to Federal Way from Vancouver Washington. But I-5 had a big car accident and traffic was bad. My husband and I decided to stop by gas station and get some snack in small town. This gas station is reasonable price and owner lady is super duper sweet. Welcome to customer and greeting me as well and big smile. We got a good chat each other, great conversation about visiting this town. I wish I have a chance to visit this town again. Thank you ?”

“Yesterday was my 60th birthday. A very lonely birthday. So I came to Safeway to get myself a cake.Ofcoarse it was like after 7pm so no one around to give assistance at the bakery. So I Grabbed a frozen cake, like it saralee or something like that.Unhappy about not getting a nice cakewhen I was at the check out stand. Then a very understanding guy, Hunter listened to my bummer story. He saw I was upset about the cake.He got a very nice gal, Abby... oh man I hope I remembered her name right . Hunter sent her to the bakery to help me get what I wanted. And that's how a store should be.I have often been so angry at the greedy safeway people raising prices. And this store never has any if the advertised goods when I get there. And they don't care.I never realized safway is a first come first served kinda store. This town has the worst shopping. Reminds me of port angeles.But...Last night Hunter and Abby made me smile on my not so fun, 60th birthdayTHANK YOU BOTH for knowing how to handle a customer.”

“There's been two new Dollar Generals open up this year. One at Kresky and Summa st. at the south side of the viaduct and the second at either the 1400 or 1500 block of Harrison Ave. I've been to all three stores in the Centralia Chehalis area, the 3rd being on Reynolds Ave just a couple hundred feet from N. Pearl in Centralia. This one would be my 1st recommendation, followed by Kresky Ave... gonna feel foolish if I spelled that wrong.. lol now the newest $1 General on Harrison Ave isn't quite operational in my opinion. Stopped in, one block from home after a stressful day at work for a gallon of milk and a few things for snacks and lunch products. My phone's screen was cracked and lately it was starting to give me problems so while I was about to leave I noticed they had a bit of a selection of cell phones. That's where (BOY DID I CHOOSE THE WRONG TIME AND PLACE) to buy a phone. Clerk was on the phone with ? the owner or manager 4 time's regarding the key to the cabinet, ringing it up... know what? You can't have everything go smoothly all the time.. they were really nice about everything although after about 30 minutes I was told the phones weren't in the system and my money was returned for that. I hope everything works out better for them soon. I'm disabled and standing there was not a good thing. I wish them luck and yeah, I'll go there again. Um... not to buy a phone and probably not going to buy the milk there either. It's $.50 less a few blocks east at Safeway.”

“The store is fine. Just wanted to add that Jennifer A. is an insufferable authoritarian Karen. People like her need to take a long walk on a short pier. Mad that businesses don't enforce an idiotic an unconstitutional mandate. Which is NOT a law. Contrary to what's in her bird brain. Hope she never comes back. Keep that ish in your ish-hole looney city. Mass psychosis is right! That is all.”

“Good people and good service..I stop here alot to and from my job every week. Has all the things a place like this sells...mom n pop stores are the backbone of a community so we need to keep these good folks going along with all the rest in the area.”

“Local grocery. They have most of what I need, but the selection has suffered since they added the Ace Hardware. But their selection is adequate. You may not find specialty items, it's not a big store by today's standards. Once in a while I've noticed their produce isn't the freshest, but it's generally fine. The produce section is much smaller since the remodel. They've moved the water dispensing machine out front, so that's closer to the car. I think the prices are a bit high, since the last ownership change. Staff is pretty great, some of them have worked here for years and years. Contrary to the other reviewers opinion, I think the best thing about our Tenino store is there is no charge for bags. I prefer paper, but they still have plastic bags available it that's what you want. None of that stupid bag ban crap the leftists passed in the big cities! Plastic bags are less impactful to the environment than making paper. And don't be lied to; plastic bags from the USA don't end up in the Pacific Garbage Patch. That mess comes from Asia. Our straws and bags don't end up there!”

“when I was homeless living in a broke down half rotted leaking rv on a vacant property not far away, I went there almost everyday to get my two cigars for a buck each. eery day the woman working told me to go grab something out of the hot deli to eat. I grew up in the area and knew me and my situation..cant say to much good about her husband after buying a frozen hamburger and refused to let me use microwave after paying and not refunding my money and being ery rude. accedentaly broke the door glass that day as I left (I pushed and kicked the door forgetting my shoes where steel toe) returned a couple days later and the wife say the security vid and was not happy with how I was treated and said he will pay for it. no longer homeless and still lie close and go there 2-3 times a day even and have had no problems”

“This is a great place for a family outing. On this night, we watched many types of races including Bump to Pass and Boat races. Get there early, the ticket lines are very long. Even with online tickets, the lines are long. Once in, the concession lines are long. It is just the way it is. The races are worth it. Great entertainment on a Saturday night.”

“If you need groceries go to Safeway or wherever you want but if you want beer this is the place for you. You can get your favorite bottles of bubbly delicious golden brew for 20-30% less than almost anywhere else.”

“Great little store in/out can drive through. Has air and wheelchair accessible. Could offer a few more items inside as far as snacks and conveniences but the staff is nice and its open late. I gave four stars because I struggle with the gas pump handles. A few of the spouts are really hard to compress to keep the gas pump from clicking off.”

“A simple smile and friendly clerk was pleasant experience. Wish every store clerks are that way. I went there for the lower price on 6-pack but, friendly greeting made me feel good that day.”

“Great neighborhood grocery with lots of unexpected extras (like the yummy donuts baked fresh). Coinstar, ATM, RedBox are on hand as well. Everyone is very friendly and the selection of organic soaps was a surprise. (A great selection.) Some of the frozen food options are a little pricey but I shouldn't be eating microwave burritos anyway.”

“I wish I had gotten her name, but I ordered a last-minute birthday cake for my son from the bakery and this was the most thorough and positive interaction I had ever had in customer service. The worker at the bakery was incredible. If you were reading this, you picked out a toy story cake for me and I just want you to know how kind and thoughtful you were. The cake turned out amazing, he loved it. Not very many people would have gone the extra mile like you did and we really appreciated it”
