“The priest is articulate and lectures in a loving way. The community is loving and spiritually I felt at peace within the building. They have this flags of different countries inside the church perhaps a representation of every nationals in their church.”
“I attended Mass as a visitor as I was in the area. The church is architecturally simple but the ambiance feels warm and welcoming. Photos do not do justice. You just have to experience it in person to appreciate the parish. Parking is good. The priest’s homily relates directly to the readings and feels like he speaks from the heart and makes eye contact with the parishioners, not reciting from his notes on a piece of paper.”

“I visited Kent Hindu Temple today and was truly impressed. The space is impeccably clean and well‐maintained — from the prayer hall to the grounds. I felt welcomed immediately by the priest, who was gracious and explained the process of the puja when I asked. The calm atmosphere allowed me to sit quietly, reflect, and feel connected. It’s a beautiful place for both formal worship and peaceful meditation. Highly recommended for anyone in the Seattle area looking for a warm and spiritual environment.”
“What a special haven in Kent! From the sacred sound of the bells to the serene décor, KAILASA Seattle offers a heart‑opening space. I was especially struck by the grandeur of the Nataraja deity and how the architecture and layout support a feeling of timelessness and devotion.
During my visit I joined the evening meditation session—simple yet powerful—and felt a calm settle into my mind and body. The temple’s inclusive approach (open to all, irrespective of background) was truly meaningful.
It’s clear there’s more than just ritual here: a thoughtful blend of devotion, yoga & community connection. I’ll definitely return and would recommend it to others seeking more than the standard temple visit.Om Namah shivaya ???”
“I dint see anything real current about this churches, i am curiouscif anyone reads these who go thete and might tell me how the people are ylthat attend and how is the leaders of the church ?”
“My long distance boyfriend came to visit me for the week of July 22, 2024. He lives in the SF Bay Area and for the past 6 months has been going to a weekly Sunday Buddhist gathering and learning about Buddhism. Because of his high interest, I bought a book he is reading and loves called "Complete Idiot's Guide to Buddhism" so I can also learn and grow. I've just begun reading it, but so far I'm enjoying it quite a lot and highly recommend it.
We spent about 45 minutes wandering and admiring the grounds and respectfully didn't enter any buildings, but couldn't really tell if any monks were present.
The alter area was beautiful and we left an offering of appreciation that we do hope gets to the monks. Sadly, there were no monks present, that we saw anyway, to give us a tour and maybe a talk about Buddhism and what the monks do at the center, but it was Friday afternoon when we were there and they might not have been there or have been inconspicuous doing other things.
The peace and tranquility of the place was so welcomed. I felt lighter and rejuvenated just being there and look forward to going back.
The temple is located on Macadam (pronounced mac-adam, not mac-addum) Road, a winding, part residential, part forest-y area. And just as you round one of the bends in the road you'll see the shiny gold temple and multiple colored flags flying.”
“Beautiful church and beautiful couple the 1st lady and her husband are. It breaks my heart that my 1st time here was for a funeral of a relative last week. The message the pastor spoke is from the heart and I hope we can all do better loving each other while we have the time to do so.”
“Really tranquil environment, I enjoyed the service that was given. Really moved by the music and singing. Spanish mass at 11am and 1pm on Sundays really fits my schedule. Very caring priests. God bless you!”
“I believe this place is a good for the community. I've seen how they help the homeless and their food bank is really compassionate and varied. The staff is very kind. I think it's wonderful that they allow homeless people to camp on their property and I think they are true Christians that actually practice what they preach and I support their presence in the community %100”

“My fiance attends regularly and knows little English, and he's provided with a translator through a headset. He has tried many churches before settling down here. He hopes to be baptized here. He loves scripture and loves Jesus. I've came along a few times and it's a small group which I appreciate and really enjoy the Pastor.”
