“One of the best Pokemon stores I’ve been to. Really big space with a lot of different sets to buy singles from. Staff is friendly and patient. Prices are not that bad compared to online. I’m happy to pay a little more to support a local store.”
“Great retro game spot to visit in the PNW! My wife and I have been game hunting up and down Oregon and Washington traveling all the way up from Central California. We Stopped by this place and grabbed some amazing items, Super C on NES CIB. Flintstones on SNES boxed for the wife, and even a box for Batman Returns SNES. They even worked out a fair deal based on condition and gave me a plastic cover to protect the box. We collectors remember the little things! Before I left I had my eye on a boxed copy of Fire N Ice for NES, a definite grail! On our way out leaving the state I had to stop by the store again and grab it. It was a great deal especially compared to current comps. I’d definitely come back again if I’m back in the area!”
“Absolutely love this bookstore!! The kids area is especially great - my kids could play here forever and love discovering new books. The staff is super kind and helpful, especially Laurie who helped us when we had an issue with our Independent Bookstore Day prize. The cookbook area is my personal favorite but there is always something new to find here.”
“I stopped here while visiting Seattle in July 2022, and it was such a perfect little store. They sold cute little plush donuts and pastries at a reasonable price. Definitely a must do!!!”

“Every Time I’m in the area I swing by and pick something up from here. The man running the shop is always nice and gives some nice discounts. Prices are a lot better here than they are on Amazon.”
“I couldn’t find this plush anywhere!! Online they said they couldn’t ship because this is a jumbo plush however i reached out to them on instagram and they were so kind enough to work with me and give me a fair price to ship this MASSIVE plush!! They shipped it all the way from washington to north carolina!! thank you so much for your kindness and empathy :)”
“The staff is AMAZING. I drive 45 mins to the Lego store every time I add to my collection solely because I love the customer service experience. They are always so friendly and upbeat and I love when I get to see them building a new release!”

“This location is on the smaller side, but they had some games I had been searching for, and the staff was very friendly over the phone in assisting me to find particular games.”

“Fun place to find different types of toys. Sure you can scour amazon but seeing everything in person and a packed variety of puzzles, games, toys, Legos, stuffies, makes you think about what you dont see when scouring the Internet for toys.”
“So delighted to find this Spawn comic there. I had forgotten how joyful it is to peruse a comic book store. There are just so many comics that I had simply forgotten about and delighted to discover again. I can spend hours here. The staff seems pretty friendly, too.”
“It was a nice wholesome store that I thought was fun for all ages and any budget. I was hesitate going at first because why go to a toy store when you have the internet, this place reminded why dedicated stores still serve a purpose and are still needed. They had an amazing selection of different toys and different interest. I found I could discover things that I normally wouldn't be able to find. The employees are very helpful and patient and are always willing to answer your questions and give great suggestion. I find they had things that from the youngest kids to enjoy and even adults too. I personally loved all the tactile stimulation toys they had like stress balls and other things to keep you focused. I would highly recommend this place to go.”

“I visited here for a gift for my kids while visiting Seattle, and I was very pleased with the options. The shop owner greeted me as I walked in and was very helpful in helping me to find a great toddler shirt for my son. I was surprised how hard it was to find a toddler shirt in the area, but this store had both a decent variety as well as cute options. I left very pleased with my purchase and my son wears his Seattle shirt as often as he can! I highly recommend this store.”
“Came in for the first time today for two models specifically. The staff was super kind and helpful and took his time to show me where specific sets were located. I’m definitely returning soon”
“After not shopping here for 5 years, I stopped in & was greeted by the nicest employee ever. I had questions about a baby carrier, and they jumped in to help me right away. Now of course we have the best baby carrier, for such a good price. Definitely will be back!”

“Nice selection of educational and fun for kids toys. There are no action figures or more mainstream toys. There are legos and cars, but no marvel action figures and such. Good place for birthday presents.”
“So great to have this wonderful comic book store in West Seattle. Shaun and his wife are good people and are a pleasure to deal with. Looking to sell your comic collection? Try Tails to Astonish. Recommended!”
“I love, love, love City Mouse! The quality of all of the items I have bought is excellent. The price is very reasonable. Everything is so much cuter in person. The customer service is great. The order comes wrapped so special. Thank you City Mouse. The great grand and parents are quite pleased. ? ? ?”
“There's a great variety of new and used children's toys and clothing, some toys are out on display and for kids to play with. There's a consignment/donation option as well, with potential for store credit. Check out their Instagram for details.
Prices are sometimes cheaper than a regular store, but often in the same range. Is it worth it? If you want to support a local small business, recycle good clothing, and get many things that are overall better quality (or vintage) for a similar price to what you might spend at a department store, then I'd say why not?
Really friendly as well.”
“We had such a positive experience here. We came for my baby's 2nd birthday, and the employees really made it special with the attention and care they showed us through the whole experience. Thank you!”

“I was so tired of picking out shoes for my kid, and having him reject them after a couple wears—even when we tried them on in the big box stores! An employee at this shop was so helpful in walking my neurodivergent kid through all his options, and answered his questions and also pointed out what was on sale. We found a great pair and he loves them, even calls them his lucky sandals. 100% will shop here for my kids footwear from now on.”
“Had a delightful conversation with the people working there about the tarot deck I picked out. Friendly and helpful, but not super in my face about it, which I always appreciate.”
“Mostly RC stuff, plastic models, and kits. They got a tiny little section in the back of the store for model trains. All they got is basically a selection of either Lionel O scale track, Atlas HO scale flex track, and Bachmann EZ Track.
As for locomotives and rolling stock, you might as well forget that. They might have 1 or 2 locomotives in stock and only from Bachmann. As for rolling stock, it's the same thing, just maybe a few pieces in stock from Bachmann. There are also usually a few Bachmann starter train sets in stock as well, but not much. They do have some Woodland Scenics stuff, but very minimal. Additionally, prices for model trains are a bit overpriced.
I normally go to this store just to buy masking tape, spray paints, paints, and thinners for weathering models.
Overall, this store is catered more toward RC and plastic models enthusiasts, along with kit builders, but not so much for model trains. If you are an RC enthusiast, this would be a great store to check out as they have a pretty good selection, I just wouldn't recommend it, though, if you are looking for model trains.”
“Just wanted to say I love your products. Hours of enjoyment and very intricate detailed models. Metal Earth rocks. Any chance you all will host an event in Seattle? It's hard to find other metal earthers”
“Bought Panini Contenders 2023 in search of CJ Stroud rookie anything LOL. Just got base rookie though. No autograph's, got 3 memorabilia card out of 5 blaster packs. Even though I seen on YouTube people opening Blaster packs got better than me. Was worth the stop at GameStop ? Service was on point, willingness to help everyone. Great prices on any merchandise, and easy to find.”

“Needed a very specific car for my father's birthday. Found the exact model online with a week to go and ordered it 2nd day air to be safe. Looked at the tracking info this morning and it wasn't going to get here till late next week!! So I found this shop online and took a trip downtown (the phone number listed isn't correct), total hail Mary to try and save the day.Google maps steered me wrong, but once I found my way to the shop (deep in the bowels of the super interesting / eclectic Pike Place Market), it was exactly what I was looking for! The owner was helpful and friendly, the car I needed was within arms reach and the price was reasonable (a bit more than online prices, but I didn't have to factor in shipping).10/10 would shop here again.”
“I like this dollar store than other ones in the area. The staffs are nicer. Prices are affordable as usual. Love to come here to buy balloons and other items. Minus 1 star because the homeless ppl are often gathers around the store.”
“Aaron helped us find the perfect game pieces we had been looking for and was able to tell us fun details and features about the products in the store. He seems like he enjoys his work. We will definitely come back.”
“Came in a few months back and was not expecting bet buy level knowledge from the employee about all my questions. They were very informative as well as helpful and patient. The gentleman name was Caleb and I only wish all my encounters would with retail staff was as pleasant as the one I had that day in the Burien game stop !”
