“The stay at the hotel was very comfortable, the hotel staff were very attentive and friendly, especially the receptionists in the lobby, they always tried to help us looking for activities to do. The pool was amazing, I've never stayed so much time in a pool.
And maybe they should add beacon to the breakfast, to accompany the other food.”

“I absolutely love this beautiful little old hotel. Did you know it was built before the Titanic?! Wow! I love the history, the feel, and the look of this gorgeous building. The location in sweet downtown Camas is amazing. It's walking distance to a variety of restaurants and coffee shops, and if you're lucky enough to book a room with a city view, the people watching is exstordinary. The beds are like sleeping on a giant marshmallow and the pillows were awesome enough to keep my migraines at bay during my stay. Whether you're traveling, or a local in need of a staycation for a few nights, you won't be disappointed. The staff members are also very kind, welcoming and accommodating. I'll be staying again soon enough. Thank you Camas Hotel for treating my family so well. We appreciate you!”

“The a/c went out at home and with a heat wave arriving in a day, I was looking for a place to stay near my home.

Google found me Candlewood Suites off 192nd. I spoke with Scott at the front desk. He was VERY helpful and kind.

Got me a room, away from the sun and even early check-in! Thank you Scott! I used my AAA card for a bit of a discount too.

As you can see in the photos, each room is comes with a kitchen (even all the cooking dishes, plates, etc... that you would need.

My room is small but VERY clean and the a/c works great 👍 👌.

Although there's free coffee in the lobby area, for those who really need coffee, there's a cute coffee shop literally in the same parking lot. See my photo.

Plus, several restaurants right across the street (on 192nd) and 2 grocery stores (Fred Meyers and New Seasons) less than 1/2 miles down 20th. Perfect location.”

“I stayed here while visiting my kids and brought three of my sons with me. We spent one night and had a great experience. The hotel was super clean, the rooms were comfortable, and everything felt well maintained. Most importantly — no bed bugs, no weird smells, no issues at all.

The staff was professional and respectful, and check-in/check-out was smooth.

The pool and jacuzzi were really nice and clean. My boys enjoyed it a lot — that alone made the stay worth it. It’s always a relief when you travel with kids and everything goes smoothly.

I’ll definitely be coming back here again next time I visit my kiddos. Highly recommend.”

“I had a very positive experience & would definitely stay again. When my room needed to be rekeyed, the woman on duty did it within minutes. The water in the shower was hot, and there was lots of it. The room was surprisingly quiet for the location, the noisy I-84 off-ramp, which is busy 24/7.

It was safe to walk to the restaurants nearby. I could also park my car right by my unit 102, and I loved that! I only stayed one night, but their guest lobby had ice, vending machines & local tourist info. My goal of going to the BOB DYLAN concert was met, and I am thankful for the room availability and price.”

“Nice three night stay. Hotel was very clean and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The are is all under construction so there is nothing to do near the hotel.”

“Near airport. Plenty of (self) parking spaces. Room is clean and roomy. Plenty of space on the bathroom counter and underneath for toiletries. There are a microwave and a mini fridge that has a separated freezer compartment. Large sitting area with a couch and a desk with a rolling chair. Another beach by the end of the beds. No safety box. Although it has 3 stories high, it is very quiet and can’t hear any airplane noise. Free standard breakfast ( don’t expect too much) but the gravy for the biscuit was delicious. And there are 2 waffle makers. Great for family and if you are on a budget.”

“Very Quaint Comfortable Hotel try it you will like it!

Convenient, Safe, Very close to airport however we never heard any planes taking off or leaving. It is a family owned older motel but very clean and well maintained. The owner was at the desk when I checked in. He was a very sweet helpful man and shared some about the motel and you can tell how proud and how much he likes the hotel and his family. We (3 elderly ladies) had a suite which provided two rooms(2 tv’s with xfinity cable), two beds, and a full kitchen. The bathroom was very clean no mold/dirt on grout lines. Floors had been upadated throughout. Beds very comfortable For those that need accessibility, beds were almost a little to high for elderly who need knee replacements. For the bathroom, it would be tight if you had a wheelchair. If you can walk some, you had to step into tub but there was a bar to hold onto as you step in and out. The toilet was the older style little lower to ground, but for those younger/heathier that have children it would be perfect.”

“We stayed in a room with 2 queen beds and a sofa bed to accommodate 3 adults and 2 kids. While the room was very well-maintained and clean, it felt on the smaller side once the beds and sofa bed were all laid out—space was a bit tight for a group of our size.
The beds themselves were comfortable and gave us a good night's sleep, but the pillows unfortunately missed the mark and weren't very comfortable. Another surprise was the bathroom door; it’s an easy-slide door with no lock, which wasn’t quite what we expected for privacy, especially traveling with a larger family.
On the plus side, the amenities and service had some wonderful highlights:
* **The Highlights:** The freshly made evening cookies were fantastic, and the kids absolutely loved them. The pool area was also very calm and relaxing, though we noticed there wasn't a changing room or common restroom located near the lobby area.
* **Staff & Service:** The staff here is helpful, though it's worth noting that if you need anything, you do have to head down to the front desk yourself to grab it.
* **Housekeeping:** Housekeeping operates on an alternate-day schedule. This was a surprise to us, and I really wish it had been explicitly mentioned at check-in so we could have planned ahead. That said, the housekeeping staff themselves were amazing—when we crossed paths, they happily provided us with plenty of fresh towels and even threw in some extras.
### **Summary**
Overall, it’s a clean and well-maintained property with incredibly friendly staff, a relaxing pool, and great evening treats for the kids. However, the tighter room layout, lack of a bathroom lock, uncomfortably soft/flat pillows, and the unannounced alternate-day housekeeping schedule are things to keep in mind if you are traveling as a larger family.”

“This is the best PDX airport hotel. The beds are perfect not too soft or hard. Clean and quiet. Amazing staff, airport transport and great breakfast. No need to go elsewhere for breakfast as there is eggs, omelets, bacon, sausage, biscuits with gravy, cereal, yogurt, fruit and pastries.”

“Comfy and close to the airport. We got in and out quick but had easy access to parking and our room etc. Clean room, plenty of extra blankets and room for our party of 3. Could use another full length mirror with bright lighting for makeup- we had to take turns at the brightest mirror...but what hotel ever accomplishes that??? Would stay again!”

“My wife and I were supposed to stay here until our house was ready, and they have been amazing to us when we had to keep extending. The manager and her crew are AMAZING!!! They work hard and when we had any issues, they are quick to fix it. The residents that have been staying here for a while are always so friendly and are enjoying with us our excitement for the arrival of our little ones. We love this place so much, our work crew will be staying here as well.”

“I honestly really enjoyed staying here. It was super simple and inexpensive. Having a fridge, sink and little kitchen area was perfect (I’m not sure if all the rooms have this). It was exactly what we needed. At first, I was reluctant to book because the price was so low seemed too good to be true, but I was really impressed and the free coffee was awesome. I definitely recommend staying here!”

“The rooms were nice. They were outdated, but very clean. I appreciated that room service came every day. However, there was a terrible smell in the lobby the entire week I was there. It made coming into and leaving the hotel an unpleasant experience.”

“I was skeptical at first, however I did fill out the entry on Facebook, so I did sign up to go to the presentation for the 90 minutes, in exchange for a gift to Leavenworth, we did receive the trip, they did have some things to offer and to take home with us, we did say no not at this time, we definitely were not bullied or pressured at all.”

“Nice and clean rooms, friendly staff, it's a little hard to find the entrance because it's off to the side and attached to the bar. Not very clearly marked either, but it's off to the left. Breakfast is coffee, so no frills. There is a laundry on site as well. Overall, not a bad place.”

“Me and my husband have been staying here off and on and pay for our daily I like that the rooms our big that it has a bathtub and the staff are very very nice . The reason I am giving 4 stars is only because I wish there was more light in the room and I wish the bed was a little softer . But other then that overall really nice place to stay”

“Very clean hotel. The 2 CSR were very friendly. The breakfast was well worth it! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the furniture in both rooms were obviously in bad shape, the first room was at 86 degrees (211), & the shower leaked in 336.”
