“I used to avoid HBS to the fullest, dreading to go there because the staff wasn’t helpful at all , well today I practically live at hadlock henrys , being a do it myself kind of girl, with all my crazy projects, that most of the time i probably shouldn’t do because I’m not a contractor, with full on doubt in my self, Don and all of the staff that go ABOVE and BEYOND to answer any question I have , they somehow know what im trying to accomplish , sometimes maybe for a second they doubt me too, but no matter what I always leave feeling confident! With that being said I just love this place, everyone here is perfectly placed and so good at what they do, I really just wanted to give a big thanks , I always feel appreciated and welcome at this hardware store! That says a lot for this small town.”
“Sure you'll pay a little extra compared to other options around town, but you're getting solid service and top-notch materials from Carl's. There's no sorting through lumber for find the good pieces like you'd do at big box shops, every one is straight and free of defect or they'll replace it.”

“Caleb and the team fulfilled a last-minute order for my mom when she was able to arrange for family help to rebuild a deck. They brought the lumber in one truck but were unable to deliver it to my parents’ steep driveway. They took the order back to the yard, reloaded the truck, then hand-carried the planks down the driveway. We appreciate the great customer service and would order from Arrow again. Thank you!”
“Great ship supply store but you must know what you’re getting into first.
1.) This is a store for PROFESSIONALS! Yes, it’s open to the public but their primary clientele are professional boat people; painters, epoxy people, trades, etc.
2.) There are no prices on anything. Again, most people buying here are pros using accounts. They don’t care what the prices are.
3.) Their focus is very much geared toward marine paint, epoxy, fiberglass, and a bit of engine maintenance. They have an extremely small selection of clothing, books, and other boating stuff. If you want marine electronics, PFDs, trailer stuff, fishing stuff, etc… you need to go to West Marine or Fisheries Supply.
But… if you want epoxy or paint or any of the supplies for those, then this is your store!”
“I'm looking to restore whatever period details I can to my 19th century house, and Vintage Hardware & Lighting had the perfect switch plates at a reasonable price. They were easy to install. One had slight alignment issues compared the the others but with some patience it worked. Shipping to the east coast was really fast too!”

“This is my go to place for all things chicken. I buy chicken feed, equipment & medications my chickens need. They also have a nice selection of flowers for my garden in spring.The staff is always friendly & helpful. A young employee named Dewey helped with a jumpstart & advice when my car malfunctioned on one stop there. I always enjoy stopping by Cenex”
