Central Bark Pet Salon

Pet Care

Riverview Animal Clinic
1552 5th St, ClarkstonEarly this morning my wife woke me up in a panick. Our cat was unable to walk and lost control of his bladder and bowls. He was yowling and was in a tremendous amount of pain. I suspected he was suffering from a saddle thrombus, which occurs when a blood clot breaks off from a larger clot in the heart and lodges in the aorta where it splits into the left and right iliac arteries. Dr. Eggert acted promptly and with compassion. He assured me that this my wife and I had done everything correctly and that these things just happen. Thank you to everyone who assisted me in my families time of need. You guys are the best.

Sharp's Burger Ranch
1241 Bridge St, Clarkston⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)
“Classic drive-in flavor that’s been perfected over generations”
Sharp’s Burger Ranch is pure Americana — the kind of place that reminds you why the old-school burger joint never goes out of style. From the neon sign to the smell of grilled beef in the air, it’s a local landmark that still delivers the way it did decades ago.
The burger I ordered was spot-on: juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked with that unmistakable flat-top flavor you can’t fake. The bun was soft but held up, and the toppings were fresh and balanced — no soggy lettuce or watered-down tomato slices here. Add in crisp fries (with just the right amount of salt) and an old-fashioned milkshake so thick it barely moves through the straw, and you’ve got the complete package.
Service is quick, friendly, and genuinely local. You get the sense that most of the team has worked there for years — they’ve got that efficient rhythm and pride that comes with being part of something the whole town recognizes. Even during a rush, orders come out fast and hot.
There’s no trying to be trendy here, and that’s exactly what makes Sharp’s great. It’s authentic, consistent, and full of character — a reminder that some things are better left the way they’ve always been.
If you’re in Clarkston and want a taste of real small-town flavor, skip the chains and head to Sharp’s. You’ll leave full, happy, and maybe a little nostalgic.
