Zelda's is hands down the best. and the PEOPLE are such sweeties!! You can tell they like what they do and are a good team. They were so very nice to me, even though my dogs were long overdue to for a cut. My dogs both have never looked better! Truly. I love ya Zeldas staff!

All seafood was high quality and cleaned and trimmed so well . The soup was so well seasoned & tasty.
To me, best Jambbong noodle soup in U.S. maybe even in Korea.??

Birch and Barley

I have had to take my dog to WSU vet hospital. I drove from Spokane. Each time I have eaten at Birch and Barley. I had their grilled salmon and spinach salad. On two occasions my daughter and grandchildren ( teens) came with me. They each ordered something different each time. Food was great. So good that the three times I drove down to Pullman, I ate there. Have to make one more visit. I will eat at Birch and Barley again.

Some places serve food. Some places serve an experience. Rico's Smoke House delivers both, and somehow makes it look effortless.

We stopped in for what we thought would be a simple date night and walked out wondering why we hadn't found this place sooner. The food was outstanding, the drinks were perfectly made, the prices were more than fair, and the entire staff made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we walked in.

A special shout-out to Jaden, who is the kind of employee every business hopes to have. On one of the busiest nights imaginable, she handled the rush with grace, a great attitude, and a smile that never disappeared. She wasn't just taking care of her own tables—she was helping her coworkers, making sure drinks and food were getting out quickly, checking on guests, and somehow making every customer feel like they were her top priority.

What really stood out was the personal touch. Jaden remembered our names, remembered exactly what we ordered, and thanked us as we were leaving. Those little moments are what turn first-time customers into regulars.

The bartender was fantastic, our server was attentive and friendly, and the kitchen deserves a standing ovation. Every bite was packed with flavor, and it's obvious the people behind the scenes take real pride in what they serve.

These days, it's rare to find a place where the food is excellent, the drinks are great, the prices are reasonable, and the customer service is this genuine. Rico's Smoke House has found that balance.

This has officially become our new date-night spot. Jaden is definitely a bonus, but the real reason we'll keep coming back is because the entire team has created a place that feels welcoming, delivers top-quality food and drinks, and makes a night out feel worth every penny.

If you're looking for incredible barbecue, excellent drinks, outstanding service, and an atmosphere that keeps you coming back, Rico's Smoke House is the place to be.

Highly recommended. We'll be back again—and probably sooner than we should.
