“I had Hopkins try to diagnose a problem my daughter was noticing with her 2014 Subaru Cross trek. Service manager was very polite and explained things well and let me know that I didn't necessarily need to replace the parts I was considering having replaced at the current time. He drove the vehicle again to specifically try to pinpoint/narrow down the problem my daughter was noticing. In the shop's opinion the items I thought might be having the problem were not necessarily the issue. He advised me that the vehicle was still safe to drive and that I could hold off a little longer before replacing said parts. I really appreciated his thoroughness and opinion. I have had Hopkins do other work on my daughter's car and was happy with their work.”

When I had issues with another company who needed to Correct something Preston double checked everything. “I don’t normally write reviews, but my recent experience with Sculley’s made me feel like they need to be recognized.For some back story: I’ve been going to the same place for years. I’ve always enjoyed their customer service and their willingness to be honest and work with me. But recently I needed some work done. They had my car for three days and kept telling me “we’re almost done.” Well Friday comes around and they call to ask me if I want to pick up my car for the weekend as they hadn’t started the job. I was livid. I felt very lied to.Fast forward a few weeks and my truck breaks down…. The weekend I’m supposed to get hay…I was not super thrilled to go to my usual shop and Sculleys was close to where I had broken down so decided to give them a shot.They recommended a lovely man who towed my truck. And when they received my truck they made it very clear they were busy and probably wouldn’t get to it until Monday (this was Thursday morning). I’d figured that would be the case and told them not to worry about it.They called me early Friday to say they’d at least wanted to look at it and get the parts ordered, so had checked it out and needed a new alternator. They made it very clear they still probably wouldn’t get to it until Monday. Again I told them that was fine and go ahead when they had the time.Next thing I know they’re calling me to say my truck is ready and I can come pick it up whenever. Apparently the mechanic had stayed through lunch to get it done. The atmosphere I walked into was pleasant and friendly. The people there seemed to enjoy their jobs and each other.These days it’s rare to fine people who are open and honest, it’s even more rare to find people willing to do hard work. The fact that the mechanic was willing to work through lunch to get me my truck before the end of the day (when I wasn’t even expecting it until Monday) amazes me. I will 100% be making the switch permanent. I don’t like change so it’s huge for me to try something new, and typically I go back to my old ways quickly. But I fell they earned not only my business, but my respect with this encounter:”

“I went ahead went down there. I had my girlfriend with me and my dog. I didn't have any money on me at that time and so basically I told him exactly what the issue was and they told me pull in went ahead and me and my girlfriend and my dog sat there and they went ahead and fixed the problem and I went ahead and told him before they did anything that I don't have any money and I'd like to schedule an appointment but they said screw it and just got it done and she told me I was good to go and didn't have to pay a the thing but for your guys information they don't always do that for free.
