“Stopped for gas only. Was greeted by Deanna who was super friendly and nice. The store was very clean and looked like they offered more items than a typical convenience store like souvenirs, apparel, and a selection of coffee creamers. I didn't go through the rest of the store so there's probably more items I didn't see from the front of the store. When I'm traveling back through the area again, I'll make sure to stop by again.”
“This is one of those local spots that you really appreciate if you live in the area. The store is small and a little run down but it's open 24 hours and if you need something at 7am or 8pm it's the only place open. The parking lot just got redone which is a huge improvement.”
“Love the Red Apple, some things are a little more but the area is somewhat remote so expected. Meat is good quality with prices on par with Mount Vernon stores. Deli makes decent food and they sell the best Pickled Eggs ever! Overall better then expected in quality and prices being a remote store. Staff is always super friendly. Store is always clean.”
“A surprising amount of weird (great, but wouldn't expect a tiny grocery store way into the mountains would have) Gluten-free options,lot of sauces that are. Have pretty much everything you need.
Summertime is very busy with tourist/out-of-towners. Staff is great, especially to the locals.”

“The owners are lovely people and this store has it's own sense of community within it. All the basic necessities are plus a variety of frozen goods for those who need a quick made dinner or snacks. I go here at least 1 to 2 times a month.”
