“We were able to find everything we needed and more here! The store layout is simple and easy to find things, and the atmosphere was great. We don’t have to wait too long in the checkout line, either, and the staff member who checked us out was happy and seemed to be enjoying his job, despite the busy throng of customers.
My only regret was we couldn’t find the fantastic gluten free cornbread mix we love so much. I wish you would bring that back! It is most excellent!”
“It's always fun to shop here.. Great prices, the produce and garden section look wonderful and are all reasonably priced. They have very interesting and different selections of food and everything I've ever purchased there has been great. Anytime I'm in the area that they have a Trader Joe's my daughter and I make a point of going in and stocking up on things that we've enjoyed in the past from them.”

“Cool nursery to hit up for a quick buy, a walk outside or for unique buys. Very friendly staff, we were asked several times by staff if we needed assistance. Very knowledgeable of the plants and their care”
“I've been going to this place for 8 years with my family and never had a bad experience. The staff are super chill, know pretty much every price off the top of there head and are just AWESOME! Best part is that they get products that are sometimes harder to find in even grocery stores where they're more seasonal like star fruits and mangoes.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND”
“I love this grocery outlet store. I plan to come back as soon as possible. I like to come to here and we’re going to youth group in Federal Way. I’d like to stop in and just buy last-minute snacks. There’s everything and anything here and service is amazing. Their customer service has always been amazing.”
“Great family tradition.... My first job was with a dress is picking strawberries and beans..... Al Duris with somebody that made me feel good about being a young man trying to be an entrepreneur”
“I love this store. It does get busy on the weekend specially at night. But they do have Extra cashiers. The restaurant has great tacos, large portions! Our favorite place to get food.”
“excellent prices. in the last couple of weeks, I've been able to get:
2 lbs. of french green beans for $1
corn for 40 cents per ear (unshucked)
1 lb. of strawberries for $2
2 lbs. of brussel sprouts for 50 cents
bell peppers for 80 cents apiece
when the prices are really low, you need to eat/prepare the food more quickly than grocery store purchases. the employees are always courteous when I shop there.”
“I shop weekly at Miltons Grocery Outlet!! It's clean, friendly & well stocked!! I am so happy with my shopping experience!! I'm proud to say, I have NOT been in a Walmart in 4yrs!!! Thank you Grocery Outlet!!! Keep up the awesome work!!!”
“Love this store and LOVE the employees! They are always super sweet, helpful and kind and that’s really important to me. Also, the health food items here are what income for and the savings I get is incredible. Somewhere around a 40% savings on buying the products somewhere else. I buy my mushroom powders here, collagen, gluten free products and supplements as well as beauty products that are clean, with less harmful ingredients. They do a great job at having some really niche products. Kudos?”
“So glad we finally have a Grocery Outlet in South Hill Puyallup! I don't have to go to Bonney Lake or Tacoma! Always appreciate the Professional Cashier & Stocking Team because they are so helpful! Great deals and surprising specialty goods! Be sure to buy it when you see it, it won't last long!”

“First off I'll just start by saying I am American and not from the middle east. However I've been on a middle eastern food kick lately, trying all kinds of different things and making some new recipes. There are several shops along Pacific Hwy that sell various types of middle eastern foods. I tried this place tonight because they make pizza and kabobs. They are both excellent. The pizza is unlike any other flavors I've tried before, yet still familiar enough to most American style pizzas. It came with ketchup which I found interesting and wouldn't typically use this condiment on pizza, however on this particular pizza I just added a little and it was surprisingly good actually. Somehow the tanginess of the ketchup went with this pizza. Really amazing flavors all around. Perfectly cooked dough, nice and chewy on the crust with lots of crispy bits of cheese.
The kabobs are filling my whole car and house with good smells right now. These are not the same as typical kabobs you might find at a middle eastern style food truck. These are Chapli Kebabs and they are flat, burger shapped patties rather than chunks of meat that are cooked on a skewer. Comes with nice freshly baked bread, very soft and saw lots of people coming into the store just to buy this bread as well.
They have a pretty good selection of all kinds of other random stuff and lots of dried fruits and nuts as well as some Lebanese style cheeses, homemade yogurt, homemade pickles and other things. I don't think Americans typically shop here but they were very kind towards me. You will have to ask them about ordering the food as there really was no menu or anything that I saw. I think most people going here already know what they have/want type of situation, so I'm posting pics of what I ordered just for reference.
Seriously good food and kind people!”
“I always shop here first because I know I will always find great deals. Then whatever they do not have.. then and only then will I go to other grocery stores. There is one young man at the checkout who seems to have been recently hired and is so polite and friendly.. next time I'll check his name tag.. he deserves recognition. Today is August and I visited Grocery Outlet. .. cashier's name is Freddie... so amazingly polite and thoughtful..”

“This is the best Afghan store I have been to which has the freshest meat. Also worth mentioning that the sale rep at the store, Sapai, was such a gentleman. He was not only helpful but was asking customers to carry their groceries to their cars. True afghan hospitality”
“I like that each store adapts it's inventory to the community in which it's located. We shopped here for Thanksgiving and got almost everything we needed, including a 15-pound turkey for $4. This store is relatively new and really well maintained.”
“Updated 02/25/2024
My wife and I decided to shop here again. We liked what we saw, and we picked up a few things. Everything was good, so I have upped a star from 3 to 4.
I'm starting to shop here more often now, I wish some cashiers paid attention to the ring-up. I dealt with Gabriella G. earlier today. She rang up my items and then was going to ring up a customer item right behind me at the same time. I told her that it was not mine. No greeting, sorry, or a thank you. I'm not sure if she got any training. Or she just needs to pay attention I guess if no greetings for the customers.
========
I usually shop at the Grocery Outlet in Federal Way because it’s convenient, and the store has a decent amount of fresh produce, meat, and baked goods.
It’s been a while since I shopped there. I've seen an employee sneaking and following a customer inside and following him out of the store. That was a bit odd despite having cameras all over the store already.
Anyhow, I like the variety of dried products, but I have not been shopping since there was an incident. I stopped by after work and had my Boeing laptop with me. The second I stepped inside the store, one of the employees told me to leave my backpack with them. I didn't think I heard it right, so I said, “Excuse me?" And the lady (manager) said, “You’re not allowed to take the backpack inside the store,” and I had to leave it with them. I immediately left the store. Before I left, I told the manager and her two employees that ‘I was not going to leave my work laptop with them.’ I don't even trust leaving it in my car, let alone with them.
So, for those fellow Boeing employees who shop at this bargain store, take your backpack or laptop home before you shop there. Otherwise, shop elsewhere.”
“Great place for finding organic and non-gmo foods for a better price. You do have to watch expiration dates because sometimes things are set to expire soon. But I have gotten things for much cheaper than typical and been able to freeze what I can’t use before expiring which is awesome.”
“The smell of freshly baking bread is a delight. They've got a tandoor and when you buy some of the Afghan bread he pulls you a fresh one out of the tandoor that is piping hot. They've got some spices, raisins, currants, and nuts for sale too. Their grocery selection is a bit sparse and their hours are seemingly erratic but the bread is delicious and the baker seems to be a nice fellow. The price for the bread is pretty cheap as well.”
“Amazing Bodega. So kind, helpful and wonderfully priced. Did not expect to have one in downtown Puyallup of all places so very grateful to have them here and hope they stay around for years to come!”
“During the power outage, a neighbor shared that 214th going north around the lake was open. I needed a few things so decided to run to Haggens. As Inlet Island was powerless and it often is 2 or 3 days or more with a storm this powerful.
What a beautiful store! During the storm aftermath they had a lot of staff, shelves full and the deli was cooking. Looked like a lot of people had been there before me! There were scattered shoppers all over the store. Staff in various areas helping find products and a couple of cash registers open. Thank You! I was able to get 3 to 4 days of meals and some basics. We weren't out as long as usual, but what a stress relief!”
“Solid place for food prep and restaurant supplies. Really good prices on meat and cheese! Best place for a full slab brisket and their frozen selections are also quite good. Always well organized and the checkout lines usually move quickly.”
“The lady/cashier is absolutely amazing she's very friendly and she always drops what she's doing just to help you find what you need.If you blink you might miss it!so if you do get a chance to stop by dash point/browns point, do it! has a great view of Puget sound and the people are amazing”
“This review is actually about Fred Meyer Grocery store......!
Crazy after 30yrs of faithfully shopping at this store, sad to see it closing for good.
Its unfortunate and unbelievable to know that all of these hard working people that I've gotten familiar with are now being relocated....!
Some of them greeted us on a first name basis simply because we shopped there exclusively..!
Don't really know or fully understand the true nature of the closure, but I definitely do wish all it's employees the best of luck moving forward.
Thank you so much for serving this community, you definitely will be missed........!”

“I like using the fuel additive pumps, as I usually buy it off the shelf and pour it in. This cuts that part out. The last couple of times, however, they have not been functional. Hopefully Freddie's can fix this trend. Prices per gallon seem to be on par with the surrounding area, perhaps a cent or 2 less.”
“We are visit this store 1st time this very clean Indian store i ever visited. They changed their name to Punjab grocery bazaar. They make fresh smosa every day and grocery at very reasonable price”
“Cheapest place to buy tubes. Friendly service. Decent prices on all items. The beverage coolers keep the drinks exceptionally cold making it the best place to buy beer on a hot summer day.”
