“My cousin and I went to the Alderwood Purple store a few weeks ago (12/6/25) and we had a great experience thanks to one of the employees, Jessie.
I’d been looking at getting one of the Purple pillows after I tried the original model on a trip but I wanted to test the others before spending that kind of money. I’m a combination back and side sleeper and had some other specific concerns. Jessie had us try all of the different pillow types and explained the differences between each of them but she was never remotely pushy. While, she’s technically a salesperson that’s not how the interaction felt.
My cousin wasn’t even going to get anything originally and she ended up buying a pillow too and almost a month later we still talk about how great she was.
I definitely want to add another pillow to my collection at some point, and I’ll probably slow buy some for family members as I can afford it and I’ll be going back to that store rather than ordering online in large part because of the great service.
I recommend going to one of the Purple stores rather than a retailer who sells them if possible because they have all of the models and are extremely knowledgeable. We drove from Blaine and it was worth it.

“Nothing can beat your local providers, and SMC shows why that is the case. Being tall, I finally wanted to splurge on an extra long bed. SMC recommended the best option I could find at a reasonable price, with their in house brand. It was obvious to me during my visit that they are in their store, to help recommend the best product for me. “Sleep Number is the only type of bed I'll own, so when I needed a new bed, I headed straight to the store in Alderwood. It's easy to find and in an area with decent parking. I was helped by Kevin, who made an otherwise stressful purchase a piece of cake. He listened to my needs and budget and got me into a higher-level bed than I thought I could afford--with an adjustable frame as a major bonus! Kevin was kind, approachable, funny, knowledgeable, and efficient, which I greatly appreciated. He was even able to help when there was a slight snafu with delivery timing. I strongly recommend Sleep Number, specifically the Alderwood location, if you're in the Seattle-area and in the market for a new bed.”

We visited multiple times while deciding on the right pieces for our home, and Amy helped us every time with patience and professionalism. Delivery of the pieces was also seamless. They arrived on the promised day within the given time window. The team unboxed and installed everything for us (we had both an indoor and outdoor dining set). Even when we noticed that two of the chair legs had dents and damages, they quickly ordered replacements, delivered them the following week, and took the original ones back.”

“I was so impressed by everything about this store. My Spouse is thin and his bones don't have any fat shielding W them so it can be uncomfortable to sleep on a firm Hey mattress. We went in today and Allison and Amber could not have been more helpful in explaining to us the options for toppers and offering the opportunity to lie down on the beds for as long as necessary to determine the best match. Rarely does one feel this welcome and their needs cared for with such professionalism and kindness. Their products may be a bit more expensive than the cheapest things you can get online, but we have been burned so many times buying things online and having them arrive very late, very damaged, and in the case of an expensive lamp, missing critical pieces. So in my opinion, it's worth it to go to a real brick and mortar store and see what you are buying as opposed to buying a pig in the poke, hoping for the best and then having to weeks or months to rectify the situation.”
