“This is my favorite Post Office as it is small and the lines can get long at times and yet you do not feel hurried or set upon by the wait and the staff are professionals with surprising patience and knowledge. I have been in line and have witnessed their quiet professionalism at work. This is what a local Post Office should operate by the standards they set.”
“I leave reviews for post office only after using it for a few months. This post office does the job done, it is friendly, and the lines if they are there, move quickly.
Mel is a sweetheart and treats everybody as her neighbor and friend.
This location has a self-service kiosk, it does not work in about 20% of my visits, and in this case I use the live agents. Both the kiosk and live help work well.
The closing time is 6pm, and they are open on Saturdays till 3pm, which helps a lot.”

“I always have positive experiences here, both in-person and with online communications. The self-service box also works very well.
If I go on a weekday, it’s super fast and easy to use this post office due to the diagonal parking spots easy to get in and out of. On a Saturday, I’ve only had to wait a minute or two to park.
I’m glad this is my local post office!”

P.S. I think as customers, our own moods, attitudes, stress level, tone of voice or whatever rush we are in on any given day- often influence our perception of interactions we have at any places of business where we are provided service. If we are polite and courteous, it's likely people on receiving end will be friendly and accommodating.

The line was very quick as another employee opened when he saw i was waiting and was very nice and efficient while helping me ship my package! 10/10, no notes and would return even if it’s more out of my way.”

“After being told at Wedgwood post office that they could not issue my PM express refund that was not delivered by the guaranteed delivery date in their local office and unavailable online, I was advised to call USPS Customer Service who could. The USPS agent told me I was given incorrect information and advised me to request a refund online or go to a local postal office for an in person refund not necessarily Wedgwood. The postal clerk at Lake City was efficient and well informed, issuing my refund after having me complete a refund form. I could have saved time had I gone to Lake City office first.”

“It was tempting to give this post office one star. The one-star reviewers here amount to nearly a majority, and they are nearly all describing the same clerk. I will not describe her further, because everyone in Edmonds already knows who is meant, the way a small town knows its weather. I have stood in that line many times and heard things come from behind that counter that would be shocking anywhere, and are somehow more shocking at a post office, an institution whose entire premise is that things arrive where they are going without incident.
But sometimes a thing is so wrong, so reliably and spectacularly wrong, that the only dignified response is to find the absurdity in it. Like when you are rushing to the airport and your Uber runs out of gas on the highway. Actually out of gas. On the highway. And the driver turns out to be an immigrant with a finer command of English and a clearer read on the American situation than most of the people we elect to explain it to us. What do you do? You cannot be angry at everything at once. You laugh, and you make the flight or you don't.
A reviewer on Yelp wrote that being scolded at this post office is practically a rite of passage in Edmonds, and I laughed out loud, because it is true, and because it means we are all initiates. I like to imagine climbing Mount Fuji, or standing on Easter Island, and meeting a stranger who turns out to be from Edmonds, and watching the conversation drift, as it inevitably must, to a certain counter. There would be no need to explain anything. That is what a landmark is.
And here is the thing: the rest of the staff are great. Genuinely, patiently great, and they show up every day beside the legend and do the work. It is for them that I cannot and will not give this post office anything other than five stars. The stars are for the many. The story, I'm afraid, is for the one.”
