“Well I'm not sure where to begin in this review, I like so much about super 1. I have been a life long shopper ever since they open the doors so long ago. One I can say without any questions is the bakery department! The work who I'm forever I. Thanks to is Leslie, I'm not sure about my spelling of her name., but she.did a fabulous job writing on my loves Birthday cake. She.loved it and again thank you to Leslie, and all those other people who work at super 1 foods. The ladies that work in the bakery and have as far back.as I can remember still make the best homemade cake frosting and the softest, moist, fluffy and tasty cake and cupcakes I've ever sunk my mouth into. Oh and the pasties and donuts are in the same category as well. Anyways I'm never gonna stop asking for.that frosting recipe til they retire or I die. Thank you for all your years of services to our community”

“I am very happy with 18th St Grocery & Deli. The staff was friendly. The floors were clean, the aisles were well stocked with a variety of options, there is candy for $0.59 like Charms Blow Pop's, Tootsie Pops, and Carmel Apple suckers. They had other reasonably priced childhood favorites. In additional, they had college staples ramen noodles of different brands and varieties. Lots of beverage options from fountain to bottled or canned. For those of legal age they have a variety of Wine and Beer options too!”

“I made an online order for my mom’s birthday, and when I came in to pick it up about 10 days later they didn’t have it. They did however put something else together quickly. They were super nice at the bakery and I really appreciate their efforts to complete the order, rather than just saying they didn’t have it. I was a bit disappointed that it wasn’t exactly what I had wanted, but it still came out really nice, and cake is cake :pOverall they do a fantastic job here, the sweets are beautiful and delicious. I’m very happy with their work. Thank you Safeway bakery staff! :)”

“LaDonna, the floral department manager was a joy to work with for our parent's funeral floral arrangements. She took the time to special order flowers and build a beautiful spray and also decor for our grandmother and aunt's graves. Having her expert advice and artistic flare truly made a sad time very memorable.”

“Typical Safeway. Felt a little on the small side. Selection was a little less extensive and everything was way overpriced compared to other stores. Not exactly sure why that is but my guess would be that it has something to do with the location and size of Ellensburg. It's essentially a small college town out in the middle of nowhere and far away from any of your big city hubs. The higher prices most likely reflect the extra costs required to transport goods to such an isolated area.”

“Beautiful one stop shopping. Right now they're remodeling the entire store, so that's the reason for 4 stars. It's difficult to find items. Being honest, I preferred the old layout. They've intermixed the organic items in with the regular items so it's a bit time consuming now. And who puts the bread aisle half way across the store from the bakery... And puts alcoholic beverages next to the bakery .”
