It is a woman owned pharmacy and, from my experience, woman operated. Everyone is very caring and I feel that they have my best interests in mind when consulting me on medications.”
“How can I say anything bad about Costco? The store was clean, restrooms included. I found a box of 10 pounds of whoppers melting in a cardboard box in the parking lot, and turned it in. They didn't look at me weird.”

“Well staffed pharmacy who are all very friendly. Small selection of snacks and first aid supplies. Lines are rarely long and service is fast. Wish they had a little more seating for waiting for a prescription. The parking lot is small and can be difficult to get into or out of so recommend finding street parking nearby.”
“Today, I visited the Respiratory Therapy department to get a consultation on new equipment. I was greeted so warmly by James Leech and Faith Dobbelaere, which put me immediately at ease. I knew I had a lot of questions and concerns about the new equipment, in particular choosing a more efficient mask and re-learning how to care for my equipment. Faith listened to my concerns and spent the time to happily teach me new ideas and procedures, helping me work smarter, not harder. She was warm, funny and absolutely full of great ideas. I trusted her suggestion to put me in a new style of head gear and mask. Her resource folder related to CPAP, as well as other resources available at Olympic Pharmacy is wonderful. I can further help myself, as well as recommend Olympic Pharmacy to my friends.”

“This is my local (close by) shopping store. I come here for last minute dinner items and quick shopping trips, really like having it just a block or two away from me (very convenient)... Recently they've gotten security so it's not as bad as it used to be but you still have the riff Raff / drug users to hang out there, the security kind of stays on top of it or as best as they can I should say.. Prices in the store are slightly higher than a bigger Safeway locations, which is why I treat it like a convenience store, but it's better than actually shopping at a convenience store, price wise... The staff are very nice and always there to help, and i utilize their Pharmacy whenever I have the need for those services and they're always fast and convenient... One really surprising thing about the Safeway that I really like is there produce section in they always have really good products and a good variety for the size of the store.. Overall I recommend it to anyone who needs to make a pit stop for things, but not full on shopping ?✌️”
“Going into a Fred Meyer is like being at the mall and a grocery store on steroids. My wife and I relocated from Las Vegas, and what we have in Vegas is the stepchild of the Kroger family, but still having a few of the good deals. We do enjoy the vastness of a grocery store, but the confusion tended to hit us fast and frustrated shopper ( wife), I'm calm and collected. Wait.... it was me that got frustrated, and she had to grab me by the hand to get me back on track!. Anyways, my wife and I really enjoyed the great deals and the extremely helpful staff..”
“I really like Bartells. I recently couldn't get to the store. They told me they had a free service where they could put it in the mail. And like a hot bunny. It was here within a day or two. Super safe, and then on top of that, I got a text message from Bartell's telling me that my package was delivered. I really like the service. I love how Bartell's health services are starting to evolve in a positive way. Way to go, Bartell's”

“I am very depressed that Rite Aid bought Bartells. They are gutting this long time, local family owned, high-quality chain. So many people are lamenting the loss of all the cute, quality food and gifts they once carried and how nice the stores looked.
Now it looks like they're going to close this branch... The Gig Harbor store. There's very little inventory in here. And Rite Aid...I won't be coming to your stores any time soon. I'll go to a grocery store instead.
The family has probably taken the money and run .... But I'm so sad they sold out. They probably knew Rite Aid would destroy what their family built up for over 50 years... Is it almost 100? Just Sad.”

They were very kind and understanding took the time to work things out. It is the best pharm in the state. Other pharmacys need to observe their example and follow suit.”

“6th Avenue Walgreens has carts, and stock. Unlike the bare shelves and plywood doors of the Pacific Avenue Walgreens, the feel of a real store from our past is here. The security guard is present at the door, personally I would rather see this than be exposed to direct zombie confrontation. The store is clean, shelves are stocked and prices clearly marked. I've never had to wait, or have I been treated poorly by clerks at this location.”

“I switched to the Walmart pharmacy (on Union Ave in Tacoma) from CVS last year due to a change in insurance. It has been a fabulous experience. We have been using the pharmacy for over a year now and have never had a bad experience. Every time I call, I get a person right away and they are always extremely friendly. My prescriptions are filled quickly. When I have been in person, everyone is always friendly as well. This year, my insurance changed again, and it actually has CVS printed on my insurance card as the preferred pharmacy. But we are sticking with Walmart. The prices are comparable and the service is great. 5 Stars!”
“I absolutely adore the people who work at the lakewood and downtown tacoma pharmacies. They are so caring an open to suggestions. They really explain each medication quite throughly right down to how many calories you need in your stomach if food is required. I am so impressed with these people. I look forward to seeing them when i need refills. I would give them even more stars if i could.”
