“The pharmacist is extremely helpful. The pharmacy also has a store for over the counter medication including samples to try before you buy. It is a woman owned pharmacy and, from my experience, woman operated. Everyone is very caring and I feel that they have my best interests in mind when consulting me on medications.”

“Well staffed pharmacy who are all very friendly. Small selection of snacks and first aid supplies. Lines are rarely long and service is fast. Wish they had a little more seating for waiting for a prescription. The parking lot is small and can be difficult to get into or out of so recommend finding street parking nearby.”

“This is my local (close by) shopping store. I come here for last minute dinner items and quick shopping trips, really like having it just a block or two away from me (very convenient)... Recently they've gotten security so it's not as bad as it used to be but you still have the riff Raff / drug users to hang out there, the security kind of stays on top of it or as best as they can I should say.. Prices in the store are slightly higher than a bigger Safeway locations, which is why I treat it like a convenience store, but it's better than actually shopping at a convenience store, price wise... The staff are very nice and always there to help, and i utilize their Pharmacy whenever I have the need for those services and they're always fast and convenient... One really surprising thing about the Safeway that I really like is there produce section in they always have really good products and a good variety for the size of the store.. Overall I recommend it to anyone who needs to make a pit stop for things, but not full on shopping ?✌️”
“I really like Bartells. I recently couldn't get to the store. They told me they had a free service where they could put it in the mail. And like a hot bunny. It was here within a day or two. Super safe, and then on top of that, I got a text message from Bartell's telling me that my package was delivered. I really like the service. I love how Bartell's health services are starting to evolve in a positive way. Way to go, Bartell's”

“6th Avenue Walgreens has carts, and stock. Unlike the bare shelves and plywood doors of the Pacific Avenue Walgreens, the feel of a real store from our past is here. The security guard is present at the door, personally I would rather see this than be exposed to direct zombie confrontation. The store is clean, shelves are stocked and prices clearly marked. I've never had to wait, or have I been treated poorly by clerks at this location.”

“I absolutely adore the people who work at the lakewood and downtown tacoma pharmacies. They are so caring an open to suggestions. They really explain each medication quite throughly right down to how many calories you need in your stomach if food is required. I am so impressed with these people. “I've used Fred Meyer Pharmacy for over 30 years. The Pharmacists and Staff, are like old friends. They go above and beyond whenever I need their assistance with new prescriptions or monthly refills. My family and I also receive all of our Scheduled Vaccines here. The Fred Meyer Pharmacy App, makes it so easy. I receive notifications whenever one of us is due for a Vaccine or Booster, and when prescriptions are ready for pick-up. I can also order medication refills, and check their status. This really helps with planning trips for groceries too. I can get both done it one trip. Very convenient. I highly recommend your local Fred Meyer Pharmacy.”
“I switched to the Walmart pharmacy (on Union Ave in Tacoma) from CVS last year due to a change in insurance. It has been a fabulous experience. We have been using the pharmacy for over a year now and have never had a bad experience. Every time I call, I get a person right away and they are always extremely friendly. My prescriptions are filled quickly. When I have been in person, everyone is always friendly as well. This year, my insurance changed again, and it actually has CVS printed on my insurance card as the preferred pharmacy. But we are sticking with Walmart. The prices are comparable and the service is great. 5 Stars!”

“We have made numerous visits here to pick up several medications. The refill process is easy to manage on MyChart to include Rx requests. All the employees I have encountered have been really nice and helpful in helping us to receive the Rx discounts which truly assists in the reduction of copays. The wait times are reasonable, usually less than 15 minutes. I love that they offer a variety of snacks and candies. I usually grab some for the road! LOL!”

“Lines can get kind of long depending on time of day but what pharmacy isn't busy. Highly recommend this location. Way better store and quality of Proctor. They don't always have everything you need in stock (a national shortage is a national shortage) but the staff makes up for it with their friendliness, and knowledgeable manager. They always try and resolve any issues you may have whether it be with insurance, the doctor, or another pharmacy. Good job pharmacy team! Keep it up.”

“I love that Fred Meyer carries unique food items. its fun shopping here and I am so sorry they have to tolerate so much crime. That's on the lame City of Tacoma.
the only beef I had was at Starbucks. I order two drinks for me and my granddaughter, $17. Gal at counter was expressionless. Cant even bring herself to say thank you. baby girl wrote on 2 cups, passes them off. tap a few buttons on her screen.
PLEASE its a pretty basic job, can we teach the employees customer service skills? our cashier in the store was very nice.”
