“Mackin Auto is the only place we will take our vehicles if the need arises again. A deer managed to cause quite a bit of damage to the front end and driver’s front panel on our RDX. We called Mackin and immediately liked the knowledge and professionalism of Angela. We had our vehicle towed there and met with Angela, who knew a lot about what was necessary. We felt very comfortable leaving our vehicle there. The communication is second to none. We received updates weekly about the progress of our vehicle from technician’s evaluation to parts ordered/arriving. The next thing we knew, a message said our vehicle was done! Much sooner than we expected and looking brand new. We cannot say enough about Mackin in Longview. They make you feel like family, and treat you with the utmost respect and kindness. We cannot express how much we appreciated their service from beginning to end. Once they received our vehicle, they handled all the necessary insurance communication with our insurer. “My truck wouldn't start after work so after getting a jump my better half told me to go to United to have the battery and starter tested. (they test then here for free?)After running the tests they were super honest and said my battery doesn't necessarily need to be replaced but it is getting older and will continue to have issues. They'd be inconsistent issues but I should be okay for awhile if I wasn't ready to purchase a new battery yet. I was actually offered a jump start to ensure I made it home. Well I decided to purchase one and it was installed with no extra cost and they made sure everything was good for the warranty before I left.Thank you United Battery”

“I learned about this shop from my local paint and body guy. We needed a color match for the basement doors on our motorhome. We took them a sample and they were extremely helpful and polite. We left with 10 spray cans of a matched color. The color was PERFECT! The quality of the paint was AWESOME and they answered all our (stupid) questions and gave us additional tips for application. I will definitely use these guys again. I thought they were wonderful and the service was excellent and timely. I would recommend them to anyone.”

“My husband just purchased a canopy for his 2019 Tacoma from here. Everything from the initial purchase to the install was fantastic. They were very upfront and honest when it came to turn around time and pricing. When the canopy came in it had a small blemish that they showed us right away. They offered to either give us a discount or send it back to the manufacturer and we would wait for a new one. We opted for the discount. They made sure to go over everything with us that we needed to know after the install. We’re super happy with our purchase and will be back if we need anything else for the Tacoma!”

“Have been putting off getting a new low beam for my headlights and stopped by the auto shop this morning to have one installed but they didn't have any in stock. Swung over to Napa on the other side of the freeway and it took me less than 5 minutes to purchase, including the amount of time it took for one of the employees to install it for me. “Ordered a nameless exhaust for my 2019 Subaru Legacy 2.5i base. Got a message it was being BUILT (to order, how cool?) I got it at 5:30 on a Tuesday. It was installed by 6:30 the same day. I didn’t even Jack the car up.This exhaust is MEAN. It’s not too loud or droning, and makes the whole feel of the car different. In a great way.Can’t thank you all enough. You rock. My dad had a true talent in auto body and won numerous awards, and no one will ever live up to those expectations. It has been so devastating he passed away and it is up to my Uncle Don to keep this business afloat, while grieving the loss of his brother. “This is pretty much the cheapest place for just about any part you're looking for. They're all made in china anyway. So why pay $100 more at another store? Plus, they usually have good warranties. Staff is nice and the store is clean. They answer the phone every time and don't seem to mind looking up stock/prices even though I'm sure deep down they've got to find it annoying. They don't even let on a bit that they do. I appreciate them for that if nothing else.”

“7 years ago I moved to Kalama and started taking my vehicle and family vehicles here. Troy and Lee have always been friendly and honest. The mechanics do great work at fair pricing.It’s always been hard for me to trust a mechanic shop, but Kalama Auto Supply has truly been the only one. I usually don’t write reviews, but they have been so great to my family and I, I felt they deserve this review.The reason I trust them is because there have been a couple specific times I brought my vehicle in the past for issues, and they gave it back to me with a simple, quick and cheap fix. They had an opportunity to make up another reason that was wrong with my car that would have cost a lot more, but they are not looking to overcharge or nickel and dime. They just want to provide the right service and fix. That’s why they always keep busy. Honest work.A couple years ago I moved out of town to Vancouver, but I still bring my family vehicles here, even for basic oil changes because of the great service they provide.Thanks guys!”
