“the best store and best people, i want to step to support this from negative reviews: you can find treasure and as some review mentioned they do not overprize brands, consistent sale on some colors tags and staff is very helpful and hardworking... the poor reviews are from people with cheap attitude - why will you bargain the item for not decent quality in antique or thrift store. for me it is place for hunting: leather, silk, weather- proof items for kids, camping supply, good quality mattress sale. thank you for your mission!”
“My own tool broke and I'm thought to this the perfect opportunity to try out the library.
The tool they had was exactly right. I had 6 or 7 to choose from and it ran just exactly as needed.
I will definitely be back!”
“The puppy yoga class was so fun and well-run! There were so many puppies from a few litters running around and making friends with everyone. The staff encouraged the puppies to move around the room so you had a chance to meet all of them!
The puppies are clearly happy, well-cared for and set up with for a great start to life with good socialization. They live with foster families, offering them lots of love and personalized attention.
The instructor led us through gentle yoga with thoughtful cues to adjust the poses to your body.
The facility and mats were kept remarkably clean, and any messes (and of course puppies will make them) were cleaned up at lightning speed.”
“The staff was super friendly and helpful! Interesting history behind the taxidermy birds. They have educational kits you can borrow for outreach or homeschool programs. There is also a gift shop. Parking on the street in front from 10-3 or paid parking across the street in the mall parking garage.”

“My partner and I have been looking at adopting another cat for some time, and we decided (the night before) to schedule an appointment and check this place out. The moment we walked in, we were welcomed by the amazing staff. They took the time to hear our story and concerns and professionally share their opinions while also making the whole conversation personal too! Meeting the cats was such a joy!
After our visit, we went to two other shelters and ended up coming back here in the afternoon to adopt! We felt a little bad coming in unexpectedly without an appointment. However Kendall, took this with stride and was able to help us with the adoption process. Shortly after, we were going home with our new family member!
Overall, this is the place to adopt/foster/volunteer for any animal!
Thank you to Kendall and the front desk staff ( I apologize for not grabbing your name!)”
“I used to volunteer at Clothes For Kids, a great organization that helps families shop for what they need. People there are so kind.
They’re not open all day, so be sure to check their operating hours before heading out.”
“This is a converted Nunnery and has a myriad of businesses and rental space. Walk the expansive grounds; it includes a p-patch, an orchard & Seattle Tilth Alliance Garden. The chapel is closed to the public but quite spectacular.”
“It is my child’s first experience being in a school setting and he absolutely loves it here. The class size is small and the teachers are wonderful. Love that the school is secured! Would very much recommend for daycare or preschool.”
“I don't even think the photos or the website does this place justice, it's really impressive and worth the trip. Saw all kinds of woodpeckers including Pileated and Downey and just in general enjoyed the boardwalk. Will be going back!”
“I was very pleased with hopelink in kirkland. I was in a tough spot for a while due to an injury preventing me from working and needed some assistance for a short period of time and had just moved back to WA. The staff and volunteers were very friendly and accommodating and being able to get the variety and quality of groceries here helped immensely. I plan on donating to this food bank and volunteering as I gain stability and would recommend hopelink if you need some help. Also, if you are looking for a place to give back I think this organization would be a good choice.”
“Very impressed. They had a wide variety of items (and even offered to grab more from the back when we were having difficulty deciding on what exactly we needed.) Every volunteer we interacted with was knowledgeable and pleasant. We were offered assistance several times. The items were all clean and in good condition. Suggested donations were reasonable. We found what my mom needed, and were happy to support a good cause.”
“This organization is an unsung hero in the Puget Sound Region, providing invaluable services and support to individuals with disabilities. At the heart of their mission lies a three-pronged approach, deeply rooted in Spiritual connection. The Spiritual Ministry fosters unity among people, embracing the core values of life, work, play, and community engagement. By connecting friends of Bridges to the local church they serve both the individual and those they connect with. The Guardianship Agency program, the second prong of their mission, is dedicated to facilitating the integration of individuals with disabilities into the fabric of society. It's a beacon of hope, ensuring that no one is left behind. However, the largest ministry of Bridges Disability Ministries is their Meyer Medical Equipment Center, which ensures mobility equipment is accessible to all, regardless of income. From wheelchairs to walkers, electric wheelchairs to crutches and scooters, they are the lifeline for those in need. We used this ministry to serve our mom when her Medicaid failed to provide a decent wheel chair in a timeline that was within her lifetime. We are so grateful!Bridges Disability Ministries is making a profound impact. They're not just supplying medical equipment; they're supplying independence, dignity, and a brighter future for all.”
“Great little spot with duck eggs, local produce, Samish Bay cheeses, a plethora of refrigerated prepared foods, and tasty baked goods! Free parking in lot and attentive customer service are also found here and I look forward to future visits. The prices are quite high but the food appears to be of great quality.”

“We love being a part of the LWTG community. The teachers are amazing and the kids love going to class!
We are coming up on our last quarter of LWTG with our last kid, it's bittersweet to age out from such an awesome program. It has been such an amazing part of becoming more confident in our parenting journey and while I will miss the teachers and events, we've created a great community and some lasting friendships. I would highly recommend the program to any young family.”
“The webpage reads open on Monday and Tuesday;but it's really Wednesday through Sunday with live blues music Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at 8:00 + Great people!”
“I love being able to use this beautiful space for our TangoStride and Tango Classes, and I so appreciate the many classes and events offered at the Phinney Center. It truly is a gem of a community space!”
“Probably the best thrift store in all of Seattle with very low prices but very high quality stuff donated by wealthy people living in that area. Their stock also rotates quickly so there's new stuff every week.”
“Hawley & Associates is a professional organization that has serviced our insurance needs for years. They are quick to respond and always ready for our ever changing non-profit requirements.”
“There's a reason the Greater Kirkland Chamber of Commerce has 5 out of 5 stars, it's because they are INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!! It's amazing to see how involved they are in helping the community grow and develop in multiple different areas of business. The staff is FUN, helpful, personable, friendly, brilliant, welcoming and I could go on and on!”
“Seems like a great place to frequent if you like to fix things up, are doing renovations, looking to change out furniture or have a handyman business.
They also had a rack of vinyl records, books, crate of fruit, veggie, flower & herb seeds.
Prices are varied...some a little high, some average and some maybe a bit more of a deal.”
“EAGLES 2888 is a wonderful place to be. I enjoy the people very much. Eagles 2888 is a perfect example of "People helping People" everybody volunteers one way or another. Watching the Seahawk games are great. It gets loud watching the games. We as many TV's that we have. The food is really good too. Our cook Lincoln creates some meals from scratch. That means homemade cooking. Both my husband and I enjoy meeting new people and visiting friends new and Old. I hope you stop by and come visit us. Ring the doorbell and come on in and lets talk.”
“I can't say enough good things about Queen Anne Helpline. Their unwavering commitment to preventing homelessness and ensuring access to basic needs for everyone is truly inspiring. The organization provides critical support to individuals, elderly folks, and families in need, and it's clear that they go above and beyond to make a real difference in our community.
What really stands out is how they’ve mobilized volunteers from all walks of life, as well as partnerships with local grocery stores and businesses, to ensure that no one is left behind. Their efforts are making a significant, positive impact on the lives of so many, and it’s heartwarming to see how the entire neighborhood has come together to support this cause.
The team is dedicated, compassionate, and truly working to build a stronger, more supportive community for all. I’m proud to support QA Helpline and I encourage anyone looking to give back to check them out. They are making a lasting difference!”
“For an auxiliary or Lodge, this is one of the best. Great management, good chef, super live music (generally twice a week), good bar (alcohol and non-alcoholic) and service, activities and most of all, they support our Veterans. Their memorials are the best. Sorry, if I posted pictures, it would just be of friends dancing.”
“My home in 2012 and 2013 when I had no place to go home. I got shelter, food, clothing, computer access, resume building, sisterhood bonds, bus vouchers, and valuable life lessons that I will never forget.”
“The salvation army is like my family. They treat you like family and include you in everything. As a kid in the salvation army it is the safest place for kids?”
“HopeLink Redmond,.....people that care.
Depending on where you live, each location is area specific. I moved out to Redmond 4 years ago so the Redmond, WA location was the one assigned to me.
Different programs/assistances for different situations/individuals/families. I was lucky enough to meet Lisa who has been helping my son and I when we need help.
Unfortunately I am moving out of the Redmond area that means I lose Lisa and Redmond HopeLink. I appreciate Lisa's and her colleagues efforts in what they do. Highly recommended.”
“The entire staff makes coming here a wonderful experience. Everyone working here is friendly, thoughtful, and very helpful at making your donation time a safe and comfortable one.”
“Nice small mosque with good parking space. They have 2 Friday prayers. 1st one at 1:30 and second one is at 2:05. There is space for sisters as well (only in the second Juma).”
“Amazing experience! Everyone on the team was so kind, caring, and welcoming. The staff member who helped coordinate my appointment was wonderful, and the ultrasound technician was very patient and thorough in explaining everything. We received beautiful ultrasound photos and felt genuinely cared for throughout the entire visit.
Even though I am not religious, I really appreciate the love and support this organization provides to families. Thank you for offering this valuable service to the community!”
