“Love this store and LOVE the employees! They are always super sweet, helpful and kind and that’s really important to me. Also, the health food items here are what income for and the savings I get is incredible. Somewhere around a 40% savings on buying the products somewhere else. I buy my mushroom powders here, collagen, gluten free products and supplements as well as beauty products that are clean, with less harmful ingredients. They do a great job at having some really niche products. Kudos?”

“This is the best Afghan store I have been to which has the freshest meat. Also worth mentioning that the sale rep at the store, Sapai, was such a gentleman. He was not only helpful but was asking customers to carry their groceries to their cars. True afghan hospitality”

“I always shop here first because I know I will always find great deals. Then whatever they do not have.. then and only then will I go to other grocery stores. There is one young man at the checkout who seems to have been recently hired and is so polite and friendly.. next time I'll check his name tag.. he deserves recognition. Today is August and I visited Grocery Outlet. .. cashier's name is Freddie... so amazingly polite and thoughtful..”
“The smell of freshly baking bread is a delight. They've got a tandoor and when you buy some of the Afghan bread he pulls you a fresh one out of the tandoor that is piping hot. They've got some spices, raisins, currants, and nuts for sale too. Their grocery selection is a bit sparse and their hours are seemingly erratic but the bread is delicious and the baker seems to be a nice fellow. The price for the bread is pretty cheap as well.”

Crazy after 30yrs of faithfully shopping at this store, sad to see it closing for good.
Its unfortunate and unbelievable to know that all of these hard working people that I've gotten familiar with are now being relocated....!
Some of them greeted us on a first name basis simply because we shopped there exclusively..!
Don't really know or fully understand the true nature of the closure, but I definitely do wish all it's employees the best of luck moving forward.

“This Winco is my favorite grocery store in the area. The price is unbeatable without sacrificing the quality. The meat has many varieties of cuts with normal and high-end selections. Vegetables and fruits are fresh and often can be in better price than the special sale items in other stores. There are self check out lanes and several cashier lanes. Check out is mostly smooth.”

“Maybe one of the best places south of Seattle for mostly authentic Asian food, groceries and supplies. Also, the market and one of the restaurants sells some of the best Roast Duck in the Seattle area! We shop here and frequent a few of the restaurants here... The main restaurant on the NW has large portions, and we commonly have leftovers.”

“The gentleman behind the counter is friendly, helpful and funny. It was a super hot day when I went, and I joked about wanting to hide in the cooler. Often, the response I'd get might be dry or otherwise unfriendly, but he simply replied "I do that often!" with a laugh.It nice to be in a small business and feel welcomed, VS the "hurry up and buy" attitude of some places.”

Then come to Al-Barawi international Halal food market. I have been a customer at this particular store for the last 4 years and I love the quality of the meat they sell. They even cut it up for you to your desired size.”

“It's not often one would give a grocery store chain 5 stars (especially if that grocery store is a Safeway) but alas, here we are. Five stars and I'll tell you why...1. Clean store and in a nice location. A lot do Safeways I find, typically are in terrible locations with no curb appeal. Not here. Location was convenient for me and the retail area it sits in was pretty well maintained.2. Customer service. I quite enjoyed my interactions with the employees I encountered. My cashier was really nice and engaging. 3. Safeway app. While this may not she exclusive this store, it was nice to be able to use the Safeway app to find what isles my groceries were located in. 4. Starbucks. While this is common in a lot of grocery stores in the area, I just had to shout it out because the service and the drink were delicious. 5. We'll stocked. Everything on my list was in stock and shelves seemed full and robust.This Safeway is about 7 min from my home so it's definitely a "go-to" option for me and I will continue to come back.”

“This is your typical homey Asian grocery store with tons of products to choose from along with a deli where you can purchase boba drinks, banh mi and fresh baked goods. As you walk in, you're welcomed by fresh vegetables, flowers and fruits outside. And inside is your typical seafood aroma mixed with idk, but always makes me feel like I'm home. Yes, the aisles are small and parking lot is not ideal but in my opinion, this is a norm for smaller Asian grocery stores. Coming from California, we had a bunch of these that came with small parking lots and the store is small but the quality and quantity is there! Many options on meat, frozen Asian ready to eat meals, boba boxes with pre-made mixes and any type of dipping sauce you need. Items are priced fairly, depending on where it came from and some priced items are way cheaper than other Asian grocery stores. Might be my new place to go if I'm in the area or want my usual, without paying the high price.”

“This store is pretty cool since it's an Asian store combined with a Mexican store. You can find most of Mexican popular items and Asian ones. As for the produce here my only complaint is that some of the items where spoiled. But other than that this place is on of my fav”

“For truck drivers: 76th ave is closed to thru traffic. Do not let them turn you around. Show paperwork and insist on coming in. Once you’re thru the road block back in from street when dock is clear. One dock for big trucks only. Unloading is fairly standard. Done in about an hour or so. Receiving starts late so wouldn’t recommend showing up before 10am.”

“We were able to find everything we needed and more here! The store layout is simple and easy to find things, and the atmosphere was great. We don’t have to wait too long in the checkout line, either, and the staff member who checked us out was happy and seemed to be enjoying his job, despite the busy throng of customers.
My only regret was we couldn’t find the fantastic gluten free cornbread mix we love so much. I wish you would bring that back! It is most excellent!”
