“I am in love with Alesia Artisan Jewelry Boutique. Steve designed a custom pink diamond ring for me and it is breathtaking!! He was welcoming, friendly, patient, and so knowledgeable. I felt at home throughout the process. His partner Melody and their dogs are like the icing on the best cake ever! “I really like this place. Got earrings for my wife last year which were gorgeous. Ordered a wedding ring for myself this month, and the shipping was super fast. This wasn't actually needed before Christmas as it wasn't a gift but a replacement for my ring that got lost while snorkeling, but the speed was still appreciated. I was really sad about losing the old ring as I'd had it for almost three decades, but this new one is really cool.”

“A friend recommended I go to T Anthony Jewelers for engagement ring shopping, and I am ecstatic that I heeded this advice. Tyler was incredible to work with. He somehow made the overwhelming process of selecting the right engagement ring absolutely fun and enjoyable. The ring is immaculate and my fiancee is over the moon with it. I cannot thank Tyler enough for his contribution to this big step in our lives. Do not look elsewhere for your engagement ring needs!”

“I came in to look for a pendant for my daughter. I had seen the store and wanted to check it out but figured it would be too expensive. However, I got great help picking out a very fairly priced topaz and setting for the stone. Since then I've come in for repair work and help has always been quality & fast and I've gotten at least one thing fixed that I thought was beyond saving. I'd recommend this place to anyone.”

“I was looking for a place to get a custom engagement ring done. I had one meeting with Kim and immediately knew that he was the Jeweler for me. Kim was so patient with my never ending ideas, thoughts, and emails, and in fact he was just as excited as I was. I always want to support local artists and people like Kim remind me why. In a world of commercialization, trends, and cheap tactics, it was wonderful to work with someone as passionate as Kim to create something of True value. By the time the ring was completed, I had not only received a ring better than I could have ever imagined, but also made a new friend who I will be working with hopefully many times in the future. What I received in this process was a whole lot more valuable than what I paid. Do yourself a favor and set up a meeting through K. Alan Smith Jewelry.”

“My wife and I have been married for about sixteen years and her wedding ring/bands had the damage to prove it. We walked into a different shop a few months ago to get an idea of what it would cost to fix it up, but weren't ready for her to be ring-less for a week as it was repaired. A couple weeks ago, it was time to get the work done so I spent some time here on Yelp only to find a unicorn: 40 reviews, all but one are five stars? OK, sold. Somehow I confused the open time and showed up early. They let me in about ten minutes before the sign said they opened. Shivali greeted me, took a look at the rings, and listened to what I wanted done. A small diamond had fallen out of the bands, which we wanted replaced. The main ring had gotten a bit bent while my wife was cooking. The white finish was thinning in a couple spots. Shivali quoted a fair price (about 20% less than the other shop we visited on a whim) but also let me know that the ring should be re-tipped as the prongs were wearing down. She handed me a loupe, patiently walked me through its use, and showed me the dangerously thin prong. Let's take care of everything, please! Since I didn't have an appraisal, which is necessary for insurance, I ordered one from their third-party appraiser as well. There was a bit of confusion, but honestly I'll own most of it as I didn't initially ask follow up questions. She said it would be done the next day, but I misunderstood that that was the repair instead of the appraisal. Within conversational flow, it could have been either one and I didn't think to clarify. The receipt they wrote for me showed the repair date to be in a week, which was fine and expected by my wife. They texted later that day to say they'd discovered a small chip under one of the prongs. Bummer! Was it still OK to proceed with the repairs? The wife gives the thumbs up so we move forward. A week passes and, right on time, they let me know the ring is ready. Somehow I AGAIN forget when they open and show up early. Everything has cleaned up well and looks really nice. The chip is realigned with the prong so it doesn't impact the shine or sparkle. The appraisal won't be ready until the next day, but Shivali offers to mail it to me to save a trip. My wife was really happy with how beautiful her ring looks, but noticed that one of the small diamonds in the bezel doesn't look right. When the appraisal comes, it notes that one of the stones in the ring is broken. Aww man! I wish we'd known because I would have been glad to have it repaired (especially before the appraisal!). I'm assuming it was broken before we dropped it off and not during repairs, but it stands out - fortunately it's on the bottom, so not as noticeable unless her hand is palm-up. It may have been cracked already and shifted during cleaning or reshaping the ring, but we just don't know. In either case, I can't imagine they didn't notice the broken stone. They'd already texted me a couple times about other things during the process, so why not ask if we wanted that fixed too? I'd have had no problems paying to bring the ring up to 100%. While the lack of communication around the broken stone prevents me from giving the perfect five star review I was hoping for, I am quite happy with the overall service and price of Lake Street Diamond Company. If my wife wants to replace either the small stone or the main diamond, I'll be coming back to LSDC first.”

“Soooooooooooo many varieties of crystals, stones, and beyond! I was overwhelmed by just how much inventory they have. I meant to stop in for half an hour and ended up being there well over an hour. The woman working was super friendly and very knowledgeable. If you love rock shops, this one will rock your socks off!”

“Ronald is his name, Rogers is his last name. He is a genius. He doesn't like to answer stupid questions and texting is the best way to contact him, don't leave long messages, his time is valuable(he does love watches and clocks for goodness sakes)! All that said, he helped me resize a band for my wife's birthday present(a very important Bulova watch from her grandmother)and it turned out beautifully, he even showed me how to do it myself to fine tune the fit! He also changed the battery and set the time on a very important but almost worthless minnie watch for her as well(pictured). If you are just looking for info to then buy something online, go somewhere else. If you truly need a craftsman and a master of a dying art see Ron!!!”

“I’ve bought several things here on many occasions. I love the pedestrian friendly Park Lane and have no issue parking a few blocks away and walking. I hope they support the pedestrian only street.”
