“My partner and I came to Seattle Glassblowing to celebrate our anniversary and had the best time!! Quinn helped us make two ornaments and was relaxed, clear, and supportive of our hundreds of questions. We will absolutely be back!”
“While looking for a thank you note with a fish motif, I scoured Annie's Art and Frame's vast selection of cards to no avail. I asked the associate working if she knew of any secret stash that I might've missed. She asked me to wait while she rummaged around the back and came out with the perfect card! Thank you for the kind and patient service. And of course, the cute card, too. PS I tried to upload a photo of the card, but Google kept rejecting it, so you'll just have to go to the store and see the selection for yourself.”
“I’m super picky when it comes to tattoos and choosing the right artist. It honestly took me over a year to find a shop and someone I could really trust, someone whose style matched mine, had good vibes, and wasn’t insanely expensive or overly selective. Yesterday, I finally got my 4th tattoo (and my first one in Seattle!) and I’m so happy with how it turned out. I went to Lake and they did such an amazing job, seriously brought my idea to life perfectly. The studio is really open and welcoming, everyone there is super nice, and it’s literally walking distance from my apartment (which is a little dangerous for my wallet tbh). Definitely planning to go back and I can already tell this is gonna be my regular spot for the long run.”
“This frame and the artwork were warped because my grandparents hung it above their fireplace. I always loved it and when they passed away I desperately wanted to save it. The folks at Willard Art and Frame did a beautiful job. It’s like new! What a tribute to family. Their service, willingness to wall me through the risks and options, and their work is very much appreciated. You have gained a long term customer.”
“Whether you’re looking for handmade or conventional art supplies, this store has it all. In particular, I love their selection of fountain pen inks, journals and pens.”

“Wa Na Wari is a must see experience for everyone interested in Seattle’s African-American history. They are committed to maintaining the legacy that their ancestors established in Central Seattle when that was one of the few places people of African descent were allowed to live. They are always gracious and share their history generously and proudly. You don’t want to miss it!”
“The use of negative space was awe inspiring. I think different uses of color & texture makes art much better to enjoy differently than just cruising to each piece.”

“I love it here! The vibe is great and the owner Eva is so amazing to talk to. I can tell how much she cares about the people and the music. If it wasn’t for her I wouldn’t have been able to play guitar for the summer! Thank you Eva and Ken”
“Just finished my SECOND workshop with Mr Randall at Mount Rainier National Park. Randall will always take the time to answer any questions as you develop your image making skills! I highly recommend signing up for ANY of his classes. Why not learn to really understand how to make a camera do exactly what you want it to do right? A side benefit is once you are done with a NP, you will know that park very well so you can return without wondering where should I go. Final thought: I will never use auto mode or auto focus again.”
“Beautifully curated art and more, unexpectedly on the second floor of the mall. I found two prints I couldn’t live without. Really take your time and peruse the prints because there are some serious gems! If I lived closer, I’d come here regularly. The staff were very friendly and helpful.”
“My husband and I attended their new paint and sip event and had so much fun! The teacher was very patient and taught us a lot about some color theory with mixing colors. Great wine selection for sipping and overall a great date night idea!”

“Love supporting local artists and love that there are more and more stores that connect artists to the community.
Super fun store for unique gifts!
Only things to note is the upstairs area that isn't easily accessible & then relying on street parking or public transit to get there.”
“Beautiful pieces by beautiful people, lots of emotions are conveyed through each work presented. Always a lovely collection on display. Always be sure to look for a Richard Hutter piece, he has many collections available!”
“I found this place during a trip to Woodinsville, and was thrilled to find how many good quality art supplies they carry! As an adjunct to a small art gallery, I expected there to be a few brushes and markers, maybe some sketchbooks - but they have a great variety of watercolor paints, as well as other paints and dry media.
The woman who helped me and my husband was really knowledgeable and nice, and helped me decide what to buy (I'm an acrylic painter, new to watercolor) - a bonus, since I prefer spending my money at a small business rather than a big corporate craft store. I really enjoyed my visit there and will be sure to visit and shop again.”
“I've shopped around, and these are the best quality canvass (and metal!) prints I've been able to find, I literally cannot recommend Stretch and Staple highly enough. I'm a wildlife photographer in the Seattle area, and they are the only shop that's been able to print colors and details up to my slightly OCD standards. They will go the extra mile to make sure the colors come out right, and the detail is good enough to see reflections in the eyes of hummingbirds. Ten out of five stars, would print again.”
“The largest collection of back issues in the area. Also nice that they have bundles of them too. Plus friendly knowledgeable staff. Two things I love in a comic shop, the first being harder and harder to find these days.”

“So much talent in this little gem of a gallery. We own several pieces from various artists. It's always lovely to support our local artists. Please visit and enjoy.”
“My K-pop mates flew home this morning, so I was solo for the remainder of my time in Seattle. I finally made my way to Pacific Place, next to my hotel. Alas, it seems it’s another shopping center in search of tenants and customers. Is this the fate of many shopping centers on the West Coast, like San Francisco Centre on Market Street?
Anyway, I found myself inside Pacific Place with nothing to do and I stumbled across The Handmade Showroom on the 3rd floor. Hey, I found bracelets made out of guitar strings from High Strung Studios in Trenton, NJ. I lost a guitar bracelet the day before, so it was serendipity … I purchased one made with bass guitar strings and secured with a magnetic clasp ($57.38). I had to buy one … I would have purchased more but they didn’t have any more in size Medium (for my 6.75-inch wrist). Hah, I ordered two more from High Strung Studios for less money than at The Handmade Showroom.
So, I found at least one interesting store in this shopping complex. I remain hopeful that more vendors will open a store in this complex.”

“A month late for this review… Grace was friendly and efficient when recommending and demonstrating the different type of pens I had asked help for. She was warm and welcoming and very knowledgeable. As I was in a hurry for work, the excellent customer service she provided was very much appreciated. Thank you, Grace!”
“Absolutely AMAZING destination for anyone who CANNOT be pleased with a standard gift! Handmade goods priced with the artists and the customers in mind, I don't think I could recommend this place MORE! Everything is kept clean, stocked, and the workers don't hesitate to let you know about the stories attached to each artist, if you want to take the step outside of just a "plain" shopping experience. Their website is gorgeous too! But the store experience is worth it, if only because you can see and hold and learn about the pieces in a really cool way. Absolutely 10/10 unique and irreplaceable part of Pacific Place!”

“Well curated collection of modern era art and antiques for sale. Great place to find one of a kind gift items. Prices are reasonable. Gallery owner is not only extremely knowledgeable but very helpful without any pressure to purchase. It's rare that I leave this shop without either wanting or purchasing some fantastic item.”
“Today I found this beautiful one-of-a-kind vintage bag at a lovely little antique store. It was handmade by the shop owner herself! She creates so many amazing things beyond just bags — her craftsmanship is truly impressive. She’s also incredibly kind and warm-hearted. This is such a wonderful place to enjoy French-inspired vintage pieces and local art!”
“The owner listened carefully to what I wanted and was able to come up with the perfect frame for my very special painting. I highly recommend his work if you're looking for excellent quality.”
“Lots of cool little things in this shop. Pricy, but great quality. The woman who has rung me out a few different times has always been really sweet. I also like that they sell Blackwing pencils individually. Everywhere else sells Blackwings in expensive packs.”
“One of the best furniture stores in Seattle! They're full of high-quality, very nicely restored, unique pieces. We've even brought in pictures of areas of the house we're working on and they give amazing recommendations, can make renderings to help visualize the space, and keep an eye out as new things come in.”
“What a beautiful, inviting gallery. Local artists and amazing quality. Started my early holiday shopping. So many options and price points from $3 to $20k (I looked). They have high end fine art, fun whimsical art, paintings, water colors, ceramics, jewelry, cards, soap, magnets, etc. My favorites for my budget were a beautiful ceramic bowl that was only $50, and a funky weird found art creation that some people might think is creepy but I think is amazing (doll heads anyone?). Friendly helpful staff. It’s just all around it feel good space. Shop local!”
