“Great place. So nice to have a solid hardware store in the neighborhood, and a local alternative to Home Depot and Lowes. I'm visually-impaired, and dropped in to see if they had garbage cans for my apartment. A clerk approached me right away, showed me where they are, and explained the options. So, so helpful. I noticed they have everything from specialty hardware and fixtures to basic kitchen utensils. Again, so glad this store exists. I'm going to be a regular.”

“My name is Nancy Niesel and I want to let you know I had the best experience yesterday with your salesman Sean . He tried so hard to find the part for my toilet without any luck and he told me if I called the company they may send it to me sooner than he thought he could receive. I had to call twice as the first time after waiting 8 minutes I was disconnected and then when I called the second time after 15 minutes they were able to tell me they would overnite the part. I did purchase your sewer cleaning by his recommendation and am very pleased with the product. Thanks for everything. Sean is a great employee to have and hope you appreciate him as I did for his service. Nancy”

“These guys are the best! I wouldn't go anywhere else for your pressure washing needs. They promised my pressure washer would be done in 5 business days, it was done the next day. Very reasonable prices. Last time I went to Ben’s, they tried to rip me off once they realized I was a residential customer. I had bought a nozzle from them the year before for $75, and the salesperson then tried to sell it to me for $170. I called him on it and he sold it for $90. I'd rather go to a place I don't have to worry about trust. Seattle Pumps has my business after 20+ years with Ben’s.”

“Best company out there for service and repair of compressors. we had a new compressor installed in 1996 and has been running for almost 24 years , r&r keeps the maintenance up on it on a schedule they set and this Kaeser SK19 compressor has been the best compressor we ever purchased. now looking into replacing it with another Kaeser compressor and keeping the old one for a back up. i recommend R&R Compressor service to anyone needing service and installing a new one . “Lifelong DYI guy here. After reading the horror stories on attempting to purchase kitchen cabinets from the various home centers, we decided to keep it local and work through the Dunn Lumber cabinet desk in Bellevue. As an added benefit the cabinets offered are manufactured by Canyon Creek right up the road in Monroe, WA. The project couldn't have gone better. Provide accurate dimensions, have some idea of your design preferences and Randy S. will dial you into the Canyon Creek product line, with full 2D and 3D renderings. Quotes, design refinement, order placement, scheduling, delivery, etc. it all went smoothly. It is so nice it is to have these quality local businesses and a qualified/skilled person at the other end of the phone to work with!”

I have since visited the store at least 6 times and now have always had 5 star service. I am happy to say that since it is a staple in the UDistrict and my go to hardware store. The current management and staff do an excellent job in a challenging store and location. I commend them on the changes made since I first started visiting, and I am happy to now review them in a positive light!”

I've been shopping at the Shoreline location for my bigger home project needs for years and have had nothing but good experiences. The sales people were incredibly knowledgeable, shared a few options on lumber, quickly gave me the options on the decking and even instantly knew which screws would be a color match. My special order decking was and and scheduled in less than a week - A+ customer service from everyone during the process.”

“The staff is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about their store.
The only downside is what the company website claims is in stock or even carried is almost always wrong.
This is fourth time I've gone to this location and the fourth time Ace's website was completely wrong. The knowledge and courtesy of their staff more than makes up for their online service but it doesn't mean my projects get done.”
