“Wow!! Today was the best service I have ever received at this location. We have been shopping here for 5 years and today we had a whole experience! We went for 40 cinder blocks, 6 bags of pea gravel and 8 bags of soil. We expected to load it all ourselves but Omar and Emanuel offered to help when they saw us coming back with empty flat beds. What a treat! Those two guys are amazing and deserve to get a shout out! Thank you so much gentlemen.”

“Our go to community hardware store! Always has everything we need. Got our keys copied quickly with great recommendations. Staff are always so helpful and kind - great alternative to the big brands.”

“All the staff members I’ve interacted with here have been so friendly and helpful. I’ve been coming here for a couple years and the whole team consistently asks how they can help and directs me to whatever I need. They’ve helped me figure out everything from lawn irrigation to wiring issues. Lucky to have them in the neighborhood.”

“Cute old school neighborhood hardware store - helpful counter staff even helped me open the impossible ‘theft deterrent’ packaging of the wrench I bought”

“A fun treasure hunt. I'm always surprised by the unexpected items they have hiding in their well organized sections. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They have a generous return policy considering they sell used items. I've purchased a classroom pull down map and solid wood furniture. It was no hassle to coordinate with an outside logistics company to have the furniture delivered. 10/5 stars.”

“Love this place and as usual when needing an assortment of stainless screws for my boat, I found everything I needed and more. Stoneway is an institution and while I am sad they closed the Stone Way location, I am happy to make my way to Ballard when I need a somewhat obscure part. Great staff as well.”
3930 Northwest Leary Way, Seattle WA 98107
“I had a kitchen sink faucet screw that came off— went to Tacoma Screw, and was instantly helped by Giles at the counter. He was incredibly friendly, got me a replacement screw with a matching allen wrench, and didn’t charge me for it. Love this neighborhood gem. Support PNW businesses!”

“Considering this store is right in the middle of town, I was really impressed by how well stocked it is. I was only here for two days and needed a flashlight, and I was amazed by the variety of products they had. The staff was very friendly and happy to help. Thank you, guys! 😊”

“am not a handy person but have been trying to do some things on my own and with the help of Dave from Ace, I have been successful. For every kind of project I have had or with help needed with specific parts or drills, he has provided excellent guidance. He is kind, warm, and listens carefully to what I need and even seeks more guidance from other staff to get a second opinion. I do not write very many reviews but Dave is exceptional and I wanted to commend him and his service. What a gem.”

“Fantastic customer service. Had an odd project with odd bolt configurations and they went to extra mile to get things done. Cut and drilled the boards I needed at no charge and saved me a tonne of time. Great selection perfectly organized. Staff was courteous and professional. Manager was great. Will be making it my go-to hardware store. And the drive through coffee shop next door was just fantastic.”

“Was referred here for specialty screws, other hardware stores did not have them. Not only did they have it, they picked it out and brought it to the register! Good people and great service at Tacoma Screw Products. They also are in a convient location and have a suprisingly large stock of hardware and tools too!”

“I just wanted to say, I have been having absolutely stellar experiences here lately. The lumber is always top shelf, but the staff are seriously incredible. Today, I picked up some cedar for a outdoor project - the counter person (didn't catch his name) found the best way to purchase boards to make my build as efficient as possible. Dominic and Joey in they yard, took all the time needed to find the best looking and straightest boards. They even cut some up to the lengths I needed and to fit in my truck. This saved me a lot of time. These guys were extremely helpful, very thoughtful with the selections they made and made sure to take good care of me, the best they could. Even on the way out, every single worker waved at me with a giant smile. It all seemed genuine like we were all a part little community, far away from the city. What a great experience. Thanks Dunn!”

“I am always dropping in here for one thing or another and 99% of the time, they have exactly what I'm looking for. I'm so glad to support a local business and glad to avoid buying things online! They're also the nicest people; always super helpful and very knowledgeable.”
17171 Bothell Way Northeast, Lake Forest Park WA 98155
“The staff is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about their store. The only downside is what the company website claims is in stock or even carried is almost always wrong. This is fourth time I've gone to this location and the fourth time Ace's website was completely wrong. The knowledge and courtesy of their staff more than makes up for their online service but it doesn't mean my projects get done.”
14330 Aurora Avenue North, Seattle WA 98133
“I have been a customer of Aurora Plumbing and Electrical Supplies for several years where Sean has always given me great service. Last year I switched my plumbing service needs to the company too and met Kevin who I have since always asked for in several appointments to fix small matters such as the 6 wax rings he replaced for my apartment building this week and major problems such as locating and repairing a pipe leak between units that required great knowhow. I always appreciate his knowledge and advice that allow me to prevent future problems when possible. The Service Dept always it easy to schedule appointments.”

“Excellent, helpful and informative customer service from staff !!! 😊!!! Had what I needed in stock on the shelf, easy to find. Clean & organized. I'm from out of the area, had a slight dilemma. Your KINDNESS saved me an hour or more on this project here in the city. THANK YOU VERY MUCH to the guys working up at the front counter 6/26/26 around 5:40 pm. Hopefully your employer appreciates the two of you promoting Tweedy and Popp Hardware as well as you do. Have a Great Day 😁”

“The store is great and the selection is great. I had an issue earlier that left me not feeling great about my experience but a manager from the store contacted me, explained that the employee was new and they were using the experience as a learning opportunity, and did all he could to help me out. I really appreciate that sort of customer service.”

“These guys are fantastic. First off, the staff here are very friendly knowledgeable, and have been able to assist me with most technical questions and issues I've been able to throw at them. they stock a huge variety of stuff, so odds are whatever weird fitting or widget you'll need, they got 'em I absolutely love how their phone number takes you to their actual store, and not an AI robot or some call center out nowhere. I was in a major pickle today with my buried well line, and the manager here Joe came to the rescue, I was able to get the job done and restore water just in time for the wife to get home. 5/5 would always recommend pacific plumbing lynnwood”

“I LOVE their cleaning products, specifically the TRIO! I clean my entire house with them. Including the floors. Everything always suprises me with how well they work! They get my counters & windows shiney & my floors smelling good and removing ANY stain. I have 2 Bulldogs so having product that help with their messes and doggie smells is amazing. I never ever buy cleaner anywhere else. The gallon sizes make it so I don't have to ?”

“Well..I went to Ace ware store since the store is close to where I live (less than a mile away). It's a nice place to buy our need. It's easy to get park. the associate addressed and asked me if I need help. He helped me and found the screws that I need from them. I didn't know if they sell them per piece. I thought I could buy it in a small box one (30pc in it) but they don't have those ones. Anyway, a short story.. I went to cashier and paid it off right away in cash. Before paid it, I also asked if I can return it, (I bought them to many), she said yes and keep the receipt. I just went home afterwards and completed my work at home ?..! Briefly result about Ace ware.., The Pro are, a good service and nice place to purchase all hardware stuff that we need. The only Con is the price is a bit higher ! ( I think ?!??) Otherwise they should have 5 stars review then!”

“I love this place. Come for a can of paint. Leave with yummy and local snacks/drinks AND the paint. They have a great (expanded) spirits collection. Good prices and eclectic selections. If you are more the mocktail type, they have Seedlip and other nonalcoholic ingredients.”

“Wow, I was, honestly, pleasantly surprised...this Ace Hardware is great! I visited for the first time yesterday and was immediately impressed by the wide selection of goods all packed in a nice n tidy atmosphere with friendly staff. I found what I was looking for - garden fertilizer, huge selection of outdoor grills, BBQs, and I noticed camping equipment and dog tags (future purchases). There's so much more available than I anticipated. Since it's in the same mall as Trader Joe's, the pet store Mud Bay, and a dollar store - also fav' brick n mortar stores I prefer - my time and effort turned into a wonderful one-stop outing... all-together! Yahoo! And Half Priced Books, Take n Bake Pizza, and Ladro Coffee are near this intersection, too, of Hwy99/196th...turning it into a great shopping district .. and, IMO, Ace really helps improve it very well. (As an aside, later that day I drove to Barnes n Noble on 196th to meet a friend and found it tricky to maneuver thru Interstate 5's under/overpass construction heading east.)”
