“I don't know what's up with all these recent reviews saying the workers were unpleasant here; the woman at the counter was very nice to me and my SO. The bathrooms were clean and they had snacks/energy drink varieties I've not seen on the east coast.”

“So convenient, super friendly, prices aren't too bad. I always round up when buying a load of stuff from here, so when I get to the register I'm usually expecting $10 more than it actually is, lol. The only reason I give a 4/5 star is because of one particular Employee.. cant remember her name. She's just very judgmental and rude to some of the lower-income families that stop by for different items. Not sure what that's about but she even once tried double charging their kids' order. Anyways, love the store and visit frequently <3”

“Really convenient spot for a commercial gas station its right next to the industrial park and off a major highway, the mukilteo speedway. The company I work for has a pacific pride membership and love being able to stop at locations like this and fill up quickly with commercial sized diesel gas pumps that fill our 40 gallon tank up in just a couple of minutes. This location even has a porti potty, definitely an added bonus.”
“I gave them $110. For scratch tickets and he shorted me 8 tickets then refused to give me my money, said I had to come back at 8 am to look at the video, so thats what I did, then at 8 am they said that I had to come back at the end of the shift when they count the till, saying they only count it at night, seeing my disappointment he said to come back at noon and so I did, just to have him say I only gave him 70$ instead of the 110 I gave him. He let me go look at the shotty at best video where you could not only tell how much money was exchanged, you couldn't even tell if it was money at all it could have been the green tickets I bought or the green bank card I used to use the atm to get the 100 out, all which I could prove. On top of it the employee leaned over the money with his arms crossed so he was blocking the camera when he is either stealing or they are both stealing from the public. . Please watch your change when you go here. Plus there are spider's all over its super dirty”

“AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! I had never rented a 15' U-Haul truck before, let alone driven anything other than a car. Whidbey Oil Sales was my rental truck drop off site and by the time I got there, I was a bundle of nerves having driven through blinding rain on the I-5 from Portland. As soon as I drove up, Sundown was up and out of the office to greet me with a big smile. He swiftly checked the truck in, was kind, re-assuring and very professional. Though the Uhaul website was down, he said he was not going to make me wait and said he would take care of everything and not to worry. He did, and my experience with a local business here on Whidbey Island was one of the best I have had. I am glad to be moving from Portland to Whidbey and if Sundown is any indication of the kindness of the people here, I am lucky to now be here. THANK YOU SUNDOWN! You made my first day here a great one! I only wish there were 2 of you so I could have rented the truck from you on the Portland side. Should I need heating oil, I know where I will go!”
