“If you're looking for a place along 84, motel 6 is that place. Reasonable prices and really close to different restaurants as well and quick access onto 84 and off. The beds were hard as a rock, and had one heck of a time going to sleep. Had junkies across the hallway from me yelling up a storm and almost called the front desk when I heard a loud knock on their door and they were quiet the rest of the night. I left as soon as I could first thing in the morning, I didn't want to stay until required check out time. My emotional support animal was even having a difficult time relaxing in the room before falling asleep himself.”
“Super 8 has very clean rooms & the employees are friendly.
Walkability: The Super 8 in The Dalles is located close to a small mall that has grocery stores, specialty stores & restaurants that are within walking distance.”

“I stayed in Lyle after exploring
the Columbia Gorge and was
a little disappointed with
the service.
The hotel has ten rooms and
I reserved a queen room with
a shared bathroom and
breakfast.
It was difficult to sleep with
the trains that run in front
of the hotel during the night.
The breakfast included
instant oatmeal, granola,
yogurt, english muffins,
orange juice, and keurig
coffee.
You will find a cozy hotel
with an outdoor patio, bar,
dining room, a small library,
and nice views of the Columbia
Gorge.
The self check-in hotel sends
you the code for the door on
the day you arrive, but failed
to send it until I called from
Lyle.
Located on Seventh Street,
just off Hwy 14 near the Lyle
Market.
A nice place to stop in the Columbia Gorge with some train noise, a historic cozy
vibe, and nice views of the
Gorge.”
