“Had my kurtas and pyjamas cleaned here as i was told this is the only cleaner that knows how to properly take care of them. It sure seems so, because they came out perfectly. The owner is such a kind man, he remembered my name even though i only came in once a few days ago. This place does dry cleaning and has a laundromat. Also has restrooms and snacks while you wait. Excellent!”
“Our hotel didn’t have laundry service, so we made a stop here. The place was very clean and organized. The woman working that day greeted us and answered all our questions, such as how the machines work and how to pay. I believe they also offer a service to wash and fold your clothes for you, though I’m not sure of the price.”
“Our normal laundry place closed for repairs and sent me in search of a new one. This place was close and had wildly impressive reviews for a laundromat. Never thought I'd leave a good review for a laundromat, ever, but Transformation Surprise surely earned it! The man working there was friendly and informative, letting us know payment options (quarters, pay range app, and a change machine on site), and prices/estimated time for the different machines. Fit a full load in a small washer for $4.75, and then everything was dry in 20 mins for $1.25. Everything was clean, everything worked, and the machines were super fast. I was in a pinch with a wedding just two weeks away — my bridesmaid dress was too tight in the bust, and another tailor had not only failed to fix it but added a completely different fabric. I brought it to Claire, and she worked absolute magic. She was fast, professional, and made the dress look and feel like new. Her attention to detail and quick turnaround saved the day. I’m so grateful I found her!”
“If you’re staying at the Woodmark and need pressing urgently, call Bella’s. I arrived on Saturday for a Sunday wedding, and the gentlemen at Bella’s did a same day turnaround for me. It’s a five minute drive from the hotel. Don’t bother with the dry cleaning service (they have none onsite), as their turnaround times are impractical, especially for urgent and important wedding needs.”
“I got some ski bibs in a color I loved online and I wanted them for touring but when I received them they were tight on the legs, loose on the stomach area, but most importantly I felt that they resisted a lot with upward knee movement. I've never done alterations on outdoor clothes ever so I didn't know what to expect, and this was not a straightforward alteration, but I decided to go for it. Its some of the best money I spent on gear ever. I was so happy with how they look. The alteration work was astonishing. It could fool anyone that that's how I got them from the store. They were able to reuse fabric from the same bub since I got them on a larger size and they fit my proportions perfectly. I did had to go to the store to get my measurements right a couple times. From the initial iteration they looked amazingly and got my proportions right, I was just still picky on how much knee movement I wanted to be able to achieve and they were soooo patient with me and they gave me so much movement freedom at the end. I've never felt this good on goretex! I will go every time I need technical alterations.”

“Small place with nice, new equipment.
Machines are fast and efficient, so your wash cycles take less time and you don't have to crank the heat up on the dryers to get your clothes dry.
The site is card-only and remains unattended. So if you are expecting someone to fold your clothes or feel like whining about your love-stained sheets, your little Karen-voice will be lost shouting into the void.
If that's more your style, maybe save us all the frustration and just buy a washing board and stay home.
Otherwise, come on down :)”

“I was a little hesitant at first to leave my garments here. When I asked the owner whether my vintage fabrics could handle dry cleaning, he told me, “If there is no care tag, your guess is as good as mine on the fabric.” Since all of my dresses were from the 60s and 70s without tags, I worried they might get damaged.
Much to my relief, when I picked up my eight dresses a week later, they all looked as good as new! I’m very grateful for the care taken with them and will feel much more comfortable bringing in more vintage pieces in the future.”
