Doug was not only punctual but also quite understanding! After a mixup with Google maps directing him to a different neighborhood (NOT his fault), he quickly notified me, corrected the situation, and met me at my doorstep shortly after at no extra charge. He's transparent about the cost, friendly, and his services are fast and definitely affordable considering the market. Just get a quote from other towing companies and you'll find yourself calling for him.”
“I was on my way to work and randomly decided to pop into McLeod to see if they might have been able to help me with my 2005 Jeep Wrangler TJ. The driver's side door was stuck shut and I couldn't open it at all. I was entering on the passenger side and hopping over. They immediately identified the problem and were able to fix it quickly. The cherry on top was the price was much lower than I was expecting! I hope I never have to visit a body shop again, but if I do, I will be returning to McLeod! Thank you team!”

“When I had a jetta, this was my mechanic shop! They were AMAZING TO ME! ANNNND TOLD THE TRUTH! I was told by the VW dealer that my car frame was messed up and all these issues so when I came here I told them all about it but was confused on how there was frame damage when the car hasn't been hit or anything. BUT this place did a fill inspection and confirmed that my car's frame was fine. They fixed all the minor issues and explained to me in full detail what all they did, how I can fix or prevent future issues and everything else. This place was amazing and made me feel way better after being so open with me. Their communication skills are fantastic AND ALSO! Everything was affordable!! The dealership wanted to charge me $700 plus for the repairs. At this shop, $125. WOW! if you have a German car, I HIGHLY recommend this shop!”

“I needed to fix my car’s A/C during the height of hot Seattle weather. Curtis at Acme Auto got me in within a few days of calling and did a phenomenal job fixing things up. The cost was on the lower end of what other shops were estimating as well.
Moreover, when I came by to pick my car up, I asked whether he could take a look at some issues I was having with my check engine light and wiper fluid sprayers. He agreed to do so without any hesitation. He fixed the sprayer issue I was having and informed me of the codes affecting my check engine light for free.
Curtis is a stand up guy and extremely good at what he does. I will be coming back to Acme Auto for any additional car service I need.”

“Great experience! No one likes to be in a car accident, but my experience here was great and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place.
I was rear-ended in I-5. Not a ton of damage, but enough that I needed a bit of body work. They got me in for an estimate within a couple of days of me calling. The estimate was done in about 15 minutes. After that, they got me in for an appointment in less than a week. I dropped the car off for the body work on a Monday, and they kept me updated with timeline and how it would depend on getting parts, but gave expected timelines for those. They expected the work would be done a week later (parts were all expected the following Monday) but they were done sooner than that (Friday of the same week).
They were slightly more responsive than my insurance company (USAA), which was nice. (I should add this was a couple of weeks after two major hurricanes demolished the east coast, so not surprising with insurance). Overall, lots of quick communication, via text and phone call, and a great experience!

“Snow and ice made me lose control of my car, wrecking the wheel, control arm and strut on the passenger side. I am lucky to not have more damage to my car or myself. I forgot to get his name but he was so nice and kept me up to date on communication on arrival as well as information on what parts were broken, and honest prices on how much it should take to fix them to keep me from being taken advantage of at motor shops. He also explained what he was doing to my car in a layman’s language that I could understand, reassuring me he wasn’t damaging the wheel parts further. 100/10 service, can’t recommend them enough.
