“People at front desk always happy to help even if you are having a bad day! Never had a problem with this place! Just don’t speed in the back or you will find someone who will yell at you.”
“First time here. Amazing sweet staff, very helpful, had everything plus a little more that I needed! Great place if you need to refill propane, great prices, friendly staff member, all around a wonderful visit I will be returning!”
“Always a great place to find replacement tools, great discounts, and awsome variety of tools. The warranties alone are the main reason I keep coming back. Check it out and im sure you'll find something you didnt even know you needed.”
“Great service. They had the exact parts I needed. I was looking for very specific, small screws for my computer that Home Depot didn’t carry. I went up the street to Tacoma Screw and found exactly what I was looking for. Additionally, the associate, Augustin, gave me some great recommendations for future repairs. I highly recommend this shop.”
“Good selection of high quality tools. Staff can be very helpful. Prices are not usually listed though, and some specialty items are more expensive than expected. So if it seems super high, just ask.”
“Very friendly and helpful staff. They made a perfect set of replacement hoses for a Tool Convention Display. They were easy to talk with about the design and reuse of the existing fittings. I'll return for any future needs.”
“I blew a hydraulic hose the day before an event. It took the helpful guy longer to quote me a price than build me a replace hose, super fast turn around! The joke is if your crane stays erect for longer than 4 hours consult your Dr...I mean your friendly greenshields supply. Thanks!”
“Wonderful company. Has everything you might need for irrigation along with helpful staff who provide information and advice for the homeowner. Best to go in person versus taking up their time on the phone.”
“These folks were awesome! I brought in my window screen and AC window adapter to have a polycarbonate window insert made to fit my Midea Duo AC [the white one from Costco]. (You can just tell them dimensions and what kind of hose it is, I was overprepared lol.) I chose the 1/8th inch and am able to tape it with aluminum foil tape to the screen!
I put in the request on Monday and got a call on Wednesday that it was completed. Very easy and fast. :) I was worried about it not fitting on my unit the first time, due to another review about such an issue. However, I have no problems attaching and detaching my unit to the screen.
Thank y’all!!!!”
“Every time I visit this Ace, I always leave feeling appreciative that I have such a great store close to me. The staff always greets me warmly and checks in to make sure I’m finding what I need, never in a pushy way, always in a friendly, helpful way. If I ever have a question, even if the first person I ask doesn’t know the answer, they’ll always find someone who does and connect me with that person. I’ve never had to wander around looking for assistance, there’s always someone nearby and I never feel nervous asking them for help. Today was another great experience (honestly, they always are). I was gathering a bunch of paint samples, and Wyatt offered to begin mixing some colors for me while I chose the other colors I wanted. He was so patient and went out of his way to try to help me find a specific shade I couldn’t locate. I tend to worry about taking up too much time or being a bother, but Wyatt never made me feel that way. He was patient, genuinely happy to help, and never rushed me. When he wasn’t sure about something, he brought over another associate (who I unfortunately am unable to remember their name, you know who you are), who jumped right in to help as well. Both of them did everything they could to try to track down the color I wanted, and I really appreciated the effort they put in. Wyatt and other associate, thank you for making my day and for always going the extra mile. This kind of service is rare, and it deserves to be recognized. I really appreciate you both and the whole team at this store!”
“I have never walked in here with a need and not had them help me figure out what it is they can do for me, or if another store will have it. Extensive inventory of some of the strangest stuff you would never think you need for speciality hardware, but 99 percent of the time if its weird or you are wondering if they have it, they will. Awesome store, awesome people.”
“Absolute stars here! I can’t remember the name
Of the guy who helped me, Jason or Justin or something. He went out of my way and saved us on a commercial jobsite after our apprentice messed up and Ferguson was unwilling to stay open 5 more minutes, but these guys were absolute amazing! Thank you”
“Can’t thank you enough for your help today! Needed the right fitting for the hot and cold water to hose connection and only had a picture. Thank you for being super patient to understand the issue and find the exact right part!!”
“I had a lot of questions and some equipment of my own that I brought in. They were very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They found exactly what I needed and were willing to take the time to be sure it was correct. Any time I need welding/soldering/heat treating equipment I will be going back to them.”
“Union carpenter. I needed quality hand tools and they had everything I needed at very reasonable prices. This will be my new go to. Awesome service and inventory.”
“The owner Becky and her partner Bob are fantastic. Very helpful in finding the items I needed to finish a project. I highly recommend going into Jim's hardware for a great experience.”
“Wow, I was, honestly, pleasantly surprised...this Ace Hardware is great! I visited for the first time yesterday and was immediately impressed by the wide selection of goods all packed in a nice n tidy atmosphere with friendly staff. I found what I was looking for - garden fertilizer, huge selection of outdoor grills, BBQs, and I noticed camping equipment and dog tags (future purchases). There's so much more available than I anticipated. Since it's in the same mall as Trader Joe's, the pet store Mud Bay, and a dollar store - also fav' brick n mortar stores I prefer - my time and effort turned into a wonderful one-stop outing... all-together! Yahoo!
And Half Priced Books, Take n Bake Pizza, and Ladro Coffee are near this intersection, too, of Hwy99/196th...turning it into a great shopping district .. and, IMO, Ace really helps improve it very well.
(As an aside, later that day I drove to Barnes n Noble on 196th to meet a friend and found it tricky to maneuver thru Interstate 5's under/overpass construction heading east.)”
“I just wanted to say, I have been having absolutely stellar experiences here lately. The lumber is always top shelf, but the staff are seriously incredible. Today, I picked up some cedar for a outdoor project - the counter person (didn't catch his name) found the best way to purchase boards to make my build as efficient as possible. Dominic and Joey in they yard, took all the time needed to find the best looking and straightest boards. They even cut some up to the lengths I needed and to fit in my truck. This saved me a lot of time. These guys were extremely helpful, very thoughtful with the selections they made and made sure to take good care of me, the best they could. Even on the way out, every single worker waved at me with a giant smile. It all seemed genuine like we were all a part little community, far away from the city. What a great experience. Thanks Dunn!”
“Customer service, plain and simple. Bill is probably one of the most helpful folks I have encountered in a long while, and this location has some of the best deals I have seen on welding equipment.”
“Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Tell them what your project is and they will work with you to get you everything you'll need.Purchasing items here at retail; the prices are a little higher than at locations such as Lowe's and Home Depot, but the quality and selection of components for plumbing is worth the difference.”
“I was in Mill Creek and needed some hardware and so I googled for the closest hardware store to me and it came up with the Edmonds Ace Hardware. I’m so glad it sent me there! I walked in the front doors and some nice gal behind the counter welcomed me in and as I started down that first aisle a nice young lady came up and asked if she could help me find something and of course since it was my first time there I did need help. She took me right over to what I was looking for and they had exactly what I had hoped for-I was tickled. The checkout at the counter was smooth and pleasant and off I went- I’ll be back again and again when I’m up that way. Nice folks- great selection- a nice clean organized layout - that’s about all I can ask for. Thanks Guys!”

“I only visited the vehicle registration department but the lovely lady that helped us was very knowledgeable and really impressed me with how she handled herself with the long line of people who all seemed to pour in right before closing.”
“Was able to get what I need and it was easy to maneuver for a big Home Depot store. Also was relatively impressed at some of the staff more towards the elderly side be so helpful. The lack of star on this one goes to the employees that look to be in their 20s. These guys have idea what they're doing and is most likely just a job for them. They looked so oblivious when a customer asked a simple question about ratchet straps. I had to step in or the customer would of bought something they didn't want. If I have to do your job you probably should be here.”
“Your one stop shop for everything Drywall. Fully stocked with all the tools, compound, abrasives and more. Everything you need to finish your drywall jobs. We also have the largest knife and pan selection in the United States. Rental tools are also available. Come have a free cup of coffee and look around.”
“Well..I went to Ace ware store since the store is close to where I live (less than a mile away). It's a nice place to buy our need. It's easy to get park. the associate addressed and asked me if I need help. He helped me and found the screws that I need from them. I didn't know if they sell them per piece. I thought I could buy it in a small box one (30pc in it) but they don't have those ones. Anyway, a short story.. I went to cashier and paid it off right away in cash. Before paid it, I also asked if I can return it, (I bought them to many), she said yes and keep the receipt. I just went home afterwards and completed my work at home ?..!
Briefly result about Ace ware..,
The Pro are, a good service and nice place to purchase all hardware stuff that we need. The only Con is the price is a bit higher ! ( I think ?!??) Otherwise they should have 5 stars review then!”

“Fantastic customer service. Had an odd project with odd bolt configurations and they went to extra mile to get things done. Cut and drilled the boards I needed at no charge and saved me a tonne of time. Great selection perfectly organized. Staff was courteous and professional. Manager was great. Will be making it my go-to hardware store.
And the drive through coffee shop next door was just fantastic.”
