“Bravo! 5+star!! Book immediately, i highly recommend!! Where do i start with this place?I made my reservation thru Expedia, and almost immediately, the owner of MDH phoned me to thank me personally for my reservation, and to be sure i received the confirmation email with details about the property including that they do not offer food during the off-season, so i should be sure to be prepared for that. I wasnt sure what to expect after the one on one attention directly from the owner but upon arrival, i saw i had nothingtoworryabout. The Moby Dick Hotel is the PERFECT BALANCE of having the complete confidence in the amenities of a chain hotel/corporation, and the unique atmosphere and quaint charm of a boutique bed and breakfast. The facility appears to be turn of the century aged, so: charming, antique grounds,no tvs, record player for music, etc. However, they are as modern as they come in their technology and check-in standard operating procedures. I spoke remotely with the owner a few times with some questions that I had, and she was available immediately evry time I tried her. And, as I said to her, the next morning: I had the best night's sleep I've had in literally years at The Moby Dick Hotel, snoozing without waking once for six full hours! I can't imagine winding up in Ocean Park WA, far from home and needing a place to stay unexpectedly again, the way I did this time. But if I do, I will be returning to the MDH without a doubt! This is a level of service, the quality of which you will not receive elsewhere, whether it's a big city, small town, isolated igloo on an iceberg, ANYwhere. TOP NOTCH! Thanks again to the owner and staff and please, if you need a safe comfortable restful night's sleep while in ocean park, by all means, choose the Moby Dick Hotel!!!”

“We had a great and relaxing time. Cottages are almost a 100 years old but well maintained and comfortable. Kitchen was perfect for cooking Easter Dinner for 6. Occupied Bald Eagles nest in a neighboring tree was an added bonus. "America". Staff were friendly and helpful. Walking distance to beach, store, coffee and more. Very dog friendly, and by the way all cottages are dog friendly not just the "Dog Cottage". Planning to book the whole resort next year for a family reunion.Noteworthy details: Friendly and quiet.”

“We have stayed at the Worldmark Surfside in the past and have always enjoyed our stay and we were lucky enough to get back here for a week this February and it’s been a great stay again. The room is large enough to bring family along and pool and hot tub and kiddy pool are terrific and we use all daily. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful and go out of their way to make us comfortable. The location is a selling point too , close enough to the Long Beach area but in a nice quiet area with great beach access. We plan to continue to return to Worldmark Surfside whenever the opportunity presents itself. Our family loves the place !”

“This is a wonderful place to stay! The rooms are incredibly clean. The management and workers were kind and fixed anything very quickly. We are within walking distance of two grocery stores and great places to eat breakfast. The ocean is also within walking distance. Enjoy!!!”

“A good choice to stay at night after visiting Olympic National Park, in our 101 road trip started from Seattle in August 2025.
The hotel is quiet and safe with excellent dunes behind its courtyard. Running through the dunes to the Pacific Ocean beach in the morning was one of the best experiences, which will never be forgotten.”
