“Did not visit the nature center, just used the water access. Small parking lot, vault toilet, boat ramp. A great access point for a beautiful area. While paddling through the wetlands, we saw deer, seals, eagles, swallows, jellies, and many other creatures. Serene, with great views.”

“Years ago I found out about this group and took my son here to give him an outlet for his interest in electronics as I had no training or experience with it. Everyone was very welcoming and accepting of him. He is neuro-atypical and struggles with socializing normally, but he did well here.. At first I just read a book or listened to conversations, as I am a shy introvert and just came as my son's ride. After OlyMEGA was able to open back up after Covid, I joined in the boardgames on Friday and lost my shyness. Now my son and I love going every Thursday and Boardgame Fridays.I can happily say that my shyness is mostly gone when I am at OlyMEGA and I now reach out to new people when they come.”
