“I love Jay's so much. Since we moved to Olympia almost two years ago, I have been practically haunting this place- 2-4 times per week....Right around the corner practically from where we live. They have every thing I need and more...the whole nut bins in the fall are terrific, as are the eggs, produce, fruit. They even have heavy whipping cream, and the MOST delicious pitted dates...plus, spices galore, and LARGE bottles of vanilla...unheard of at the fancy grocery stores... the prices are low, and I am very impressed with their decision to appeal to the customer's financial needs.”
“Cute friendly little convenience store by the lake. They offer propane exchange, gas, ice, meals, snacks, bevarages(no fountain), beer, and household essentials. They have a little fishing dock across the street. Prices are average for convenience shopping but way worth saving a trip into town.”
“Beautiful shop fully loaded with any type meats you could want. Our grass fed New York steak was unfortunately terribly tough even at 135 - 145 degrees
Won't buy that one again but have other great meats!!
Worth the trip ?”
“The people inside are nice. Large selection of drinks. They even have a decent selection of frozen food. Gas prices are always low. Removed a star because cardless payment via phones don’t work at any of the pumps.”
“Not a fan of being greeted by a pride flag outside the store. I called and asked if they would consider flying an American flag outside so that veterans felt welcomed, and I was brushed off.
Please make your 90% non-gay patrons feel as welcome as the 10% LGBTQ+ patrons. They get a whole pride month. Veterans get a single day.
Until we as a society acknowledge how wrong this is, we are heading down a bad road.
Your produce and products are amazing but some items are at least a dollar more in your store than at Safeway. That feels wrong.”
“Great place to get things for stuff u gotta do if your doing stuff things like that or whatnot. I used to really like this place but then they changed the name & the whole vibe is off now. But it's better than the one they got in AZ cuz that store ain't got no la Croix or Lotus so boo!”
“This little store is just my favorite place! Incredible selection of wine, beer, natural groceries, fresh meat and deli cheese and even great espresso! And the staff is helpful and so friendly!”

“I love Winco! Great prices, great selection, great people! I travel a fair amount and i look for Winco wherever I'm traveling. I have never been disappointed!”
“Best burgers ever. Yum. I don't like burgers out as a general rule but these are close to home-made. And lots of fun toppings to chose from. Other interesting sandwiches on the menu including fried baloney.”
“The best prices of all grocery stores in the area. I've purchased protein drinks for only .50 each and gotten amazing deals on vegetarian frozen foods and sweet bulk snacks. Great beer selection, too and the lines are always moving fast with little wait times.”
“09/15/25 Today I called in a couple of times to ask if the store had some things I needed atm. The same person answered the phone both times (The calls were only a couple minutes apart) and each time the person working (Lindsey, perhaps was their name?) was very kind, quite quick to answer the phone (which was nice), and I was very impressed that they seemed to just know what felt like everything in the store-- Aisle numbers and everything! I also appreciated that they physically checked the aisle on my behalf as well. Thank you, Lindsey!”
“This convenience store is packed with goodies. Friendly service, decent prices. Restroom in the parking lot ?.
Only downside is that it's not on my regular route.”
“Nice market with fresh produce, a deli and baked goods. I've only dined in once and have to say the top floor has a great view. You can also get coffee and check out the plants at the entry. For those that are new and checking out the deli, you order your food then take it to check out at the register. The soup and salad bar is self serve. The service is mediocre, depending on the individual staff. Some are more willing to smile and engage with customers while some are just rude and can't even seem to properly take an order. When you're providing service it's very detrimental for your business if you don't train your staff properly. The bakery has really tasty pastries and cookies. I would definitely go back to try other things on the deli menu despite the mediocre service, but I have explored and discovered lots of good local delis in the area and will take my business where they have good customer service versus some where with mediocre service. I would've given a five star review if service was better, but I feel the 4 star is already quite generous. My fish and chips were okay, the salt and vinegar fries were really good, and the club sandwich was good.”
“Great little store convenient a little spendy Great selection a little bit of every thing. Great selection of candy ,drinks and cat or dog food. Friendly helpful employees. Thankful to have the little store near us.”
“Amazing produce and lots of local items. Love the volunteers and staff. Eastside location has a great soup and salad bar (mostly organic), Eastside also has a candy wall with a bunch of great organic chocolate! Definitely check it out for some quality eats.”
“Stop in to fill your coffee cup and your heart. Just stopped by and the two people working there just made my day!I believe that people are brought into your life, even if just for a brief moment, for a reason.”
“The handy pantry is an iconic west oly landmark and better than ever. This review is to say thank you to the staff for being kind and non-judgmental when I over-share (which is always). I appreciate you all!”
“I have spent over a hundred dollars here for the ingredients to make deluxe hamburgers. It's expensive, but the quality of the food is phenomenal and the selection is pretty good.”

“They're open late which is a plus, there's always at least one or two resident tweakers roaming about aggressively panhandling and on occasion you might see someone stuck leaning out into the air where you think they're going to fall over but nope if you want him for long enough they just keep leaning farther and farther forward not sure how it's done but they do that. On an ultra rare occasion and This is a treat treat, but you may see a leaner stuck leaning as the 10-day high on meth guy wants to get by him but can't so they have this weird no language confrontation in which the leaner leans and the tweaker tweaks but like anything there can only be one victorious one and that's the excitement, is the tweaker going to be able to go in there get his bottle of butane and finally " fix " That damn thing or is he going to get set in the infinite regression loop in which the leaner leans and the tweaker tweaks and no one gets anything which amounts to a draw but usually has to be broken up by one of those thug life peeps who is Just hanging out looking for an opportunity to smoke on some of tham paks”
“Nice small store...wasn't what my boss n I thought it was...all good just went back to the small area for what we needed. Was never in this area before but it's nice area.Remember to support your local business for they are the backbone of your community.”
“The store is smaller in size but it's got everything you need and they are open until 1 am. The donuts are fantastic and always taste fresh. ? My one critique is the layout of this store is quite odd, when you enter in the building through the front door your instantly feeling cramped and you must avoid the center display if you want to make it through the front to get shopping”
“It's a Mobil station , good for a fill up , lottery ticket . Has a convience store too, for a fast shop for something you forgot elsewhere. Not for a monthly shop. Prices are high.”

“The new owners and there nephew have absolutely remodeled and cleaned this place constantly. I absolutely look forward to stopping and getting my hot momma and diet Pepsi on the way home. They really have stocked the shelves and the crew is reinstalling gas pumps as I type and they will be operating soon. I would absolutely recommend stopping in and giving it a try for your new store stop. Wonderful place and people..”

“The Evergreen Grocery/76 station (aka EVG) has almost anything you need. It's the best stocked convenience store in Olympia and Lacey. I am constantly surprised they have the thing I was looking for to avoid going to the big grocery store much further away. The staff are always friendly as well.”
“Best slurpees in town! They're not to sweet. The owner is super nice. I've I've out here for years and they've always been a great little quick stop .”

“Staff are so kind. They were helpful with my membership, i have had no hassle with refunds, they are eager to help and helped me carry my groceries to the car when i was unable to which made them a star in my book. So happy they are in this city. I am trying to buy a house in their neighborhood and then i can go there more often. What would make them the very best is if they were an exclusive vegan co-op. Imagine that. It is so rare and they would be cutting edge and get so much business. Society is making the switch to veganism. It is the only diet that helps the environment (climate change, habitat loss, pollution etc), animal welfare, feeds more of the world and reaps health benefits. It is the kindest most compassionate diet without question. Go vegan!”
“These days the cheapest place to get groceries. Of course you have to fight the dreaded older, entitled women who haunt the isles and stand in your way rudely, but if you can work past the rage, it's an awesome store.”
