“Excellent gym and very clean. Recent expansions make it much more capable of handling busy times and provide more options to choose from now. Staff are attentive and very friendly … enjoying it here!!”

“I had no idea fitness could be so fun and actually achievable. I’m pretty new to this only 50 classes in but I can say if I can do it anyone can. You just start where you’re at and the program and coaches at OrangeTheory make it possible.
The staff (Layne and Vy) at this West Olympia location are wonderful. They always greet you by name and often already have you set up for your preferred station. A little thing that makes you feel like you’re part of the family.
The coaches really make the difference in this journey and Head Coach Kaia is fun, funny and pushes just hard enough to make you do a little more than you thought you could. Coach Aubrey and Jake are enthusiastic and encouraging and always watchful of your technique while making you give it your all. Coach Vy is an amazing staff and coach. I would love to see her coach more classes. It’s like having a personal cheerleader!! Thank you all at West Oly OTF.”
“Sophie is a great trainer, and her prices are more affordable than many personal trainers in town ($60/hr with discounts for packages). She helped me learn all the compound lifts with proper form, and did a lot of helpful warmup/accessory work to prepare for heavier lifts. Highly recommended!”
“I've been going to Crossfit Olympia over a year now and love this gym and the people there. I enjoy the programing and have gotten stronger and more fit with being consistent. The gym space is clean and new and has lots of windows. All the coaches I have worked with have been friendly, helpful, and supportive. I live a little ways away and the drive to get there is totally worth it!”
“Everyone looks beautiful on silks 🥔 💕 This is a very laidback gym, and one day I aspire to own a membership so I don’t have to wait for open gym days!”
“I couldnt say enough about Tatyana if I tried. If you get the pleasure of working with her at all just know youre lucky. She is super amazing and empathic, super helpful, and great with children, that was just a plus. I cant thank you enough for helping me little family today. So thank you.”
“I started exercising to help my recovery from a fall from which my left foot and ankle were injured, followed by my back from wearing a stabilizing boot for two months. The boot raised my injured foot higher than any pair of shoes I could compensate with on my right foot. The class was recommended by my physical therapist. I have found that not only does the class I am in help with my injuries, but also with my balance and strength. The class leader is attentive to everyone who participates and communicates with each of us to alert us to changes in scheduling or facility maintenance and remodeling. All staff at the Y have been accommodating and helpful.”

“I’ve been training at the Olympia Planet Fitness since May (a little over two months now), consistently coming in 3 to 4 days a week.
Because of my schedule, I’m able to go during the less crowded mid-morning or mid-afternoon hours. I can’t speak to how packed it gets during the pre-work or post-work rush, but during the middle of the day, it’s fantastic.
The Positives:
The Staff & Cleanliness: The staff here are incredibly friendly, and the equipment is consistently clean and well-maintained. I’d estimate about half the people working out actively wipe down their machines after use, which is great.
The General Vibe: For the most part, it is a genuine, judgment-free zone. Most people are there to mind their own business, focus on their health, and get their workout done. There’s no annoying video recording, and the overall atmosphere is kind and welcoming.
The One Downside:
As a beginner lifter who is working hard to lose some weight, I have run into a few young men (or teenagers) who walk around carrying a bit too much ego. I’ve noticed them smirking, looking down on everyday lifters (like us busy 40-year-old dads), or ego-lifting and occasionally snickering at older or weaker folks like myself. It can feel a bit uncomfortable when you run into that.
Overall:
Despite those few bad apples, they are the absolute minority. The vast majority of members and staff make this a highly supportive, clean, and positive place to train. If you are a beginner, a parent, or just someone looking to build a consistent routine without gym drama, this location is a great fit. Highly recommend!”
“You can not beat the atmosphere and friendliness of a small locally owned gym! I'm a new member and love walking in to see people saying hi to each other, smiling etc. The gym has all the equipment you need and again such an incredible personable atmosphere. Highly recommend!”
