“Edit: After posting this review, I was contacted by Krystal Saunders, eservices manager, who was immediately able to help me verify my account details, refund all of the fees, close the account, and mail me a check for the full amount of my car sale. I’m so relieved and pleased to have had this resolved so quickly and efficiently. I do still wish this could have happened 3 years ago, but since I didn’t actually end up losing any money in the end, I’ve moved my rating from 1 star to 4 stars. Thanks again for the help and resolution!

I bought a car and financed it through Peninsula Credit Union 8 years ago. When I sold the car and paid off the loan in 2021, I had an extra $600 and some change that came back to me. Even tho I asked them to transfer it my normal bank (I didn’t use any other banking services here) and close my accounts, they wouldn’t help me over the phone and I no longer lived in Washington state. I have spent the last 3 years trying to figure out how to get my money. No one on the phone can help me; they keep saying to login on the website. The website says it’ll send me a password reset link. I never receive one. The phones half the time don’t get answered, or the lines are down. Which I guess doesn’t matter since no one can help me over the phone!
The really really great thing about this is since I don’t use this bank (I don’t even have a card to access my account!!) I get charged a $10 inactive account fee every month. For THREE YEARS. I have lost HUNDREDS of dollars because no one can help me access my account. I’m not willing to fly out to Washington state to go into this branch to take the money out, because at this point I have less money left in there than a round trip plane ticket would cost me. My biggest worry now is that when my $600 is finally all dwindled and gone, will I still be charged an inactive fee? Will I end up in debt to this bank even though they owed ME $600 from the sale of my car?
Who knows. No one will help. Don’t finance your car through this bank unless you also actually bank with them, because if you ever pay off your loan, they will just steal your money.”
“I had a great time being helped by Donna. She was depositing money for me into a normal money market and told me about the premium money market account. I thought it sounded awesome earning more interest on my money that’s just sitting in the bank so I am very thankful for her assistance. :)”

“The gals working here are beyond amazing! I brought in a deposit which required quite a bit of counting and they were so understanding, kind and ready to go. They also gave my pup a treat and gave him some water knowing that it was very hot outside. There’s a lot of kitsap bank locations in the area to choose from, and I would absolutely choose this location again all due to their customer service and kindness. Thank you!”

“I wanted to give a special shout out to Kristina and Kristy! They went above and beyond to help to help my 90 year old grandmother recover her wire transfer receipt. It doesn't sound like a big deal but when you are over 90 it's a feet! They took the extra time to make sure she was well taken care of.I also want to thank Lynn who helped her do the wire transfer initially. Not only did they make sure that she was transferring money to a real person ( which is good for security) but she also stood up for her when she could tell my grandmother was getting a little overwhelmed.She also tells me this is not the first time they have went above and beyond for her and they even recognize her when she comes in.
