“Winco is a great grocery store to shop in. Its large. They carry a wide variety of stuff..Prices are very good . Employess are friendly. They offer a good variety of both store made products from regular shelf items to prepared salads, and ready made meals in the deli cases. Fresh breads, donuts, pies, muffins and other baked goods.”

“I like going to the Fred Meyer gas center because it has hoses that will reach the opposite side of your vehicle. This moves more vehicles through the area in a shorter amount of time. It's this type of thought that makes Fred Meyer the best.”

“Friendly and great service. Has a gas station. Has other stores like mud Bay for pets and it has a Subway place it is got all kinds of other stores in the parking lot area. RV friendly parking while you shop. However pharmacy customer service is very overwhelmed and will show with body language and demonstrating frustration. They will take walk ins but appointments help much better so they said. Upon having an appointment you still face the same overwhelmed experience demonstrating there customerservices they deliver that need very much attention in training. Several attempts and didn't change. First time experience was great contacting the last three different times. I opted to go to another safeway in bonnylake WA where it was a refreshing experience and it showed proffecianalisim and ethics. Hope they reflect from this.”

“The lady at the bakery in this Albertsons did an AMAZING job on my son’s birthday cake. When every where else was booked, she got it done for me. She had great customer service skills, and I didn’t have a picture for the cake so I kind of described what I wanted the cake decorated like. She went above and beyond what I thought it would look like. Thank you so so much.”

“This is a great little neighborhood grocery store. The people are always welcoming and polite and the store has a little bit of everything (except fresh meat and produce). They are open relatively early and close relatively late, they are in a great location too. If I had to say something negative the only thing I can think of is that because it's a little food mart the prices are a bit higher than major grocers but it's quick and convenient so I don't mind paying a little extra, especially to support local small businesses”
“I had a very satisfactory experience while dealing with your employee named Susan. She was such a friendly face who after noticing that I was having trouble finding the specific item that I was looking for came right up to me greeting me with a smile and asking if I required any assistance from her . I did in fact and asked if she knew if there might be anymore of the item I was looking for in stock and she right away quickly ran to the back room and when she returned was carrying all 4 of what I was looking for .
This was SUCH a difference from my experience that I had just had when I first tried my luck shopping at the new Shaw road Safeway . That employee was rude and completely unwilling to go out of this way in anyway to try and help me to see if there was anymore of what I was looking for . He lied saying if it wasn’t on the shelf that they didn’t have it even though he was clearly restocking that entire section from the looks of the cart he was working on so there very well could have bee he was just unwilling to look for me . Then when I had to ask him if he could find out and look for me he straight told me no and that he was too busy . Unbelievable .
Susan really turned around what was forming as my opinion of Safeway and their customer service . Thank you for showing me that there are still good customer service employees out there (: you made my day that day !”
“Great little neighborhood store. Nestled on the edges of downtown Puyallup. Great little store with just about everything you can imagine from Alcohol, candy, breakfast foods, oil, chips and ice cream. They also serve "hot ready to eat" foods that are prepared daily, sometime multiple times a day, to stave off those hunger pangs. Or when you just want to nosh on a little bite.”
“I would like to take a moment to highlight Rebecca in the Deli. She is an awesome part of the deli team. She has always been professional when it comes to customer service. She is quick and efficient with her time. I was so impressed by the attention to detail with my orders. While helping me she was also engaging with her team to assist with their needs even though she was not directly asked to help them. My family and I thank you Rebecca.”
“Only reason that's not a five star review is due to the lack of parking space. Seems like on any given day all year every year you must troll the lot like a vulture circling a carcass! The neighboring couple stores have private lots so the reason for the parking trouble is unknown. Butttt- I'm pleased to report after searching three stores I finally found chocolate fudge here and I cleaned them out- so sorry but now they too are without a single classic fudge in the bakery-but hey they have rocky road fudge!”
“I had an awful experience with my delivery order. I got sent the wrong order I talked to customer service on the app. They were no help at all. I called the store and Stevie answered I was quite irritated at this point but she totally turned everything around. She said she would repick my order and get it out for delivery. Stevie is pretty awesome she should be training staff on how to handle customers. Thank you Stevie.”
“I've had a working partnership with this Safeway for two Christmas seasons now and most of the staff members are very friendly. It's been positive as I would see them walking to go outside on their breaks, cart retrievals, or managing customer orders.Pricing seems to be getting better here like it was before. Currently, I'm not using the app, but being a Safeway club member still has its benefits. Instead of being only .50 cents to $1.00 off when things go on sale, I've seen that the sale prices have increased on certain products.One of the best findings here in terms of accessible essential resources for females is the sale pricing on the period hygiene products of the Signature Brand, which is Safeway's generic brand name. For less than $7, I was able to find a package of feminine pads and that's including taxes.Their deli section has improved also! Their food has been mostly fresh and there's more offers on their chicken. They have a "Cheep Cheep Chicken" deal on Mondays. And on Wednesdays, there's a $6 sushi offer on at least a few types of their sushi packages. I haven't tried out their sandwiches recently, but noticed an improvement in this section about a year ago. There were issues in terms of overcharging and cleanliness. But things look a lot better and fresher.”

“Is it just me or was Target's logo very obviously designed to look like a clitoris with a clit like nickname to match it ? I must be feelin' some type of way today to be pondering this question .. hmmm. Anywho, I LOVE target... maybe a little too much since I've nearly maxed out my target red card, not sure when I'll be able to pay it off, as I get drive up orders here at least twice a week! I've yet to run into any long wait times or big problems with the drive up service like others have mentioned. Service has been pretty darn great as a matter of fact! I'm going to run the risk of this review sounding unfinished but.... That is all.”
“Fred Meyer is a great one-stop shop with a solid selection of groceries, household goods, and more. The store itself is clean, well-organized, and the staff are usually friendly and helpful. Prices are fair, and I appreciate the convenience of being able to pick up everything I need in one trip.
The only downside is the parking lot area — there always seem to be quite a few homeless individuals and other people lingering around, which can make it feel a bit uncomfortable, especially at night. That said, it hasn’t stopped me from shopping here, but it’s something to be aware of.
Overall, it is a decent grocery store because of the variety and convenience, but I do wish they could do something to improve the safety and comfort of the parking area.”

Most Safeway Deli’s especially in spanaway will do there best to ignore you and if you ask for help they have a bad attitude or say there oven is always broken…
Anyway I’ll be coming to this Safeway from now on instead of Spanaway. Thanks again Angela. That positive attitude makes a difference.”
