“I’ve been coming here for years and it’s always the same ladies and they are all amazing and I have seen them handle difficult customers and they still keep their poise and professionalism. People can be so rude but they do their best and they are knowledgeable and very timely. The lines do get long but it’s not because they are slow it’s because of the different services they provide. Thank you for everything you do!”
“I was lucky to go to the post office when there were only 3 people in line. I had 12 large manilla envelopes to mail. It took 10 minutes from entering the post office to getting back into my car. Service was pleasant. There are so many questions and answers for mailing each packet, it gets kind of confusing if you are tired. The good news is that I mailed everything I needed to! It was a good time to go at 3 pm.”

“They are very helpful and give clear directions. When I had a package delivered but it wasn't in my box, different staff helped search for it until it was located. They didn't have to help but they did.”
“I was just watching a First Amendment Audit video today on YouTube from 5 hours ago, 4/14/2026, by I.A.M. Free Inland Auditing. I was pleasantly surprised. Jeremy was awesome. He was polite and friendly. The auditor had one “Karen” interaction. She eventually left out the back doors and drove away. This one man was walking through the parking lot armed. There is a law and several signs that state there are no firearms on postal property. He was testing the waters by confronting the auditor. The armed man claimed “curtilage”- that’s a 4th amendment thing. He is/was misinformed. He insisted that he could carry in/on postal property and had the firearm on his right hip. See photos below ⬇️. Outrageous! Consider the source ?.”
“I want to share and give praise to Julie at the Orting post office. I sent an overnight, certified envelope on Monday the 22nd of July 2024. My overnight, certified envelope was promised to be in Utah by Wednesday the 24th of July no later than 6:00pm. If it didn't I would receive the $30.45 back that I paid for overnight premium, certified mail service. It's the United States postal service. If you can't depend on them then Wow. I did have a tracking number that showed it left Orting Monday afternoon and arrived in Kent at 11:23 pm. Needless to say it wasn't there by Wed, Thurs, Friday. Now I want them to hold it in Kent so I can pick it upand start over. I went back to post office on Thursday. I was told they would look into it and call me with update by the following morning. I did not. I called Friday afternoon, I spoke to Julie. She checked into my situation and informed me they hadn't heard back. She personally promised to look into this and promised to call me on Saturday with an update. I didn't have faith that she would call as they aren't open to the public on a Sat so I wouldn't be able to call her. To my surprise she called me first thing Sat. morning to say it had arrived in Utah and would be delivered that afternoon or Monday morning. The company in Utah called at the same time wanting to know why they had not received my money. On Monday morning Julie called me again to let me know my envelope was delivered and signed for. Julie is amazing, wonderful and restored my faith in the postal service. She went above and beyond. She could have told me to just keep checking thru the tracking site. Not only did she call Monday morning the post office in Utah called to assure me it was delivered and signed for. I will never forget, and I will forever praise Julie for taking the time to care, to treat others as she wants to be treated. God bless you Julie and thankyou from my heart.
Sincerely,
Deb Bosarge”
“Came in here twice for passports at different times.. First one was for myself and I had the asian older guy help me right away and he was very nice and accommodating. Second time i had the older white lady and i forgot some paperwork for my baby, but she was VERY patient with me (I was so embarrassed bc i forgot one thing) but she assured me everything was ok and printed it out for me.
Im horrible with names, but i appreciate both so much! Its stressful getting passports.”
“This U.S. Post Office is conveniently located on Mountain Highway just north of O’reilly Auto Parts.
Two entrances/exits make for a pretty seamless merge back into traffic heading north or south on Mountain Hwy.
Friendly staff at the counter. Always willing to take your package/letter at the counter quickly if you don’t need a receipt. They’re also quick to help even if you do need more than just a simple package/letter drop off.
Only thing I wish they had was a spot or bin to quickly drop a package off if you don’t need a receipt when the staff is busy. The line here does backup sometimes as there are only two checkout points at the counter, so if you have a package that won’t fit into the quick post boxes, you may have to wait for a bit to drop off a box that won’t fit into the small slots on the wall.
Lobby is always clean and well maintained. Good amount of PO boxes in this location, but the availability of them is unknown to me.
Overall, a nice and convenient post office for those in need!”
“Fast, convenient, lots of parking. There's gift cards and greeting cards available for sale inside during business hours only. Lobby open even after hours. Missing 1 star because entry area stinks, there's a homeless person leaving trash outside the USPS.”
“I’ve been using this post office since I moved to the area 11 years ago. With the exception of one time when there was a couple day delay in delivering mail after it was being held while we were gone, I have always had great service here. Our mail delivery person is exceptional!”
“I've had only good experiences at this post office. Clerks are very helpful. It's clean. The line moves quickly. I cannot complain at all about my years of experience here. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“Sharing my experience picking up a package at the annex - first time there since my package ended up here where tracking stated “held at post office per customer request” which was odd because I made no such request. In any case, I found out via usps.com this was the pickup location for my address. I didn’t have to wait long for the lone staffer, who was very pleasant, took my info to retrieve my package. Signs clearly labeled to ring the bell (and that it may take a few minutes since there is only one staffer) - which I felt was fair. Thank you!”
“Genuinely some of the nicest people I’ve met work here. They are so competent, professional and move with intention and efficiency. They are always helpful. They deal with so much on a day to day basis, including staffing shortages, busy hours and some incredibly rude customers, yet they always manage to maintain composure and get the job done.
Our post office workers are taken for granted and should be better acknowledged for all the hard work they put in to make sure our mail reaches its destination.”
