“My family business has been dealing with MBA for over 30 years. They are one of the seattle OG’s… next to Bushells.. if you know you know. Larry’s son, Michael has taken this auction house to the next level. They are honest, trustworthy and knowledgeable.”
“We had the truly fortunate opportunity to work with Matt Barker, and the experience was exceptional start to finish. Matt was incredibly helpful, answering every glassblowing question we could think of with patience, clarity, and genuine enthusiasm. He made us feel completely comfortable, guiding us through each step with expert instruction and a warm encouraging presence.
The session was not only educational but genuinely enjoyable - the kind of experience that stays with you. And when we returned to pick up our finished pieces, we were amazed by how beautiful our creations turned out.
Matt is a standout professional, and our time with him was unforgettable. We couldn't recommend him more highly.”

“Went for the holiday native art market. It was lovely, as it has been in previous years. Parking is easy. There's a nice variety of art from jewelry to scented things like soap to original wall artwork to a some pottery, etc. The gift shop also has a nice selection. There are some food options offered. It takes about 30-60 minutes to peruse everything. Thank you to the Duwamish for doing this.”
“Little indie bookstore that knows it's niche and has phenomenal vibes. The owner is great for a chat and was super helpful. Very worth your time to stop in and poke around, even if only to stop and smell the metaphorical roses”
“I’m super picky when it comes to tattoos and choosing the right artist. It honestly took me over a year to find a shop and someone I could really trust, someone whose style matched mine, had good vibes, and wasn’t insanely expensive or overly selective. Yesterday, I finally got my 4th tattoo (and my first one in Seattle!) and I’m so happy with how it turned out. I went to Lake and they did such an amazing job, seriously brought my idea to life perfectly. The studio is really open and welcoming, everyone there is super nice, and it’s literally walking distance from my apartment (which is a little dangerous for my wallet tbh). Definitely planning to go back and I can already tell this is gonna be my regular spot for the long run.”
“Had a great experience here. It's quiet and there's a lot of selectioin for different pottery options.
I feel like this place is bigger and has more selection than Paint the Town, but I'm pretty sure it's cheaper than too. Not to say that there's a lack of quality, there's plenty of paint options and the environment is nice. The owner is really sweet too, you can tell she really puts a lot of passion and care to this place.
If you've never done this before, best to slot out a lot of time, this kind of thing can take a while.”
“Who said Seattle lacks culture? Maybe they’re right, but they’d be wrong about white center. Blown away but the colorful art and exuberant energy that any patron would feel as soon as they enter this beautiful space”
“Eclectic art gallery. Well curated pieces in all price ranges. Delightful, airy space. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Have been shopping here for over 25 years and highly recommend a visit .”

“I've had two separate custom framings done here and the work was impeccable! Every last detail was perfect and I was pleased with amount of options I was presented. Definitely a local business we need to support!”
“Full disclosure, I share a studio here with another leather artist/artisan. Equinox studios Seattle is a fabulous collective of artists and artisans in West Georgetown Seattle. Equinox hosts an open house every second Saturday of the month. That's 4 buildings of art studios to experience! All on the same block! If you come by make sure to stop in at Big Blue studio #202 and see the leather hats and masks we make?”
“Beautifully curated art and more, unexpectedly on the second floor of the mall. I found two prints I couldn’t live without. Really take your time and peruse the prints because there are some serious gems! If I lived closer, I’d come here regularly. The staff were very friendly and helpful.”
“Went for an intimate local show with Tobias theOwl in this beautiful gallery. Owner is warm and welcoming and I will definitely be back!(It's also 4 buildings down from my favorite tapas place-added bonus) The art was a variety of 50 artists over 50 and I loved pieces from each artist I saw! Gorgeous backdrop for music <3 Thank you for sharing your space with local artists! ?”
“My K-pop mates flew home this morning, so I was solo for the remainder of my time in Seattle. I finally made my way to Pacific Place, next to my hotel. Alas, it seems it’s another shopping center in search of tenants and customers. Is this the fate of many shopping centers on the West Coast, like San Francisco Centre on Market Street?
Anyway, I found myself inside Pacific Place with nothing to do and I stumbled across The Handmade Showroom on the 3rd floor. Hey, I found bracelets made out of guitar strings from High Strung Studios in Trenton, NJ. I lost a guitar bracelet the day before, so it was serendipity … I purchased one made with bass guitar strings and secured with a magnetic clasp ($57.38). I had to buy one … I would have purchased more but they didn’t have any more in size Medium (for my 6.75-inch wrist). Hah, I ordered two more from High Strung Studios for less money than at The Handmade Showroom.
So, I found at least one interesting store in this shopping complex. I remain hopeful that more vendors will open a store in this complex.”

“I have come to expect the unexpected from the Greg Kucera Gallery, though I expect find my favorite artists here! Awesome space and supremely focused on what is important - the art. Easily the highlight of my trips to Seattle!”
“This place carries wonderful pieces of art and delectable delights for your palate in every corner. It’s a treat for all of your senses and perfect for gift shopping. Please check them out, you certainly won’t regret it”
“Beautiful pieces by beautiful people, lots of emotions are conveyed through each work presented. Always a lovely collection on display. Always be sure to look for a Richard Hutter piece, he has many collections available!”
“A Fantastic, Light-Filled Gem in Pioneer Square
Gray Sky Gallery is truly a fantastic gallery experience, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. Located in the heart of Pioneer Square, this space is a must-visit for anyone looking to appreciate beautiful, contemporary art in Seattle.
The space itself is breathtakingly beautiful and light-filled, creating a wonderful atmosphere that makes viewing the artwork a pleasure. The gallery features a diverse and exciting collection from many talented artists, showcasing a wide range of media—from painting and sculpture to mixed media installations. There is something new and engaging around every corner.
What made our visit truly stand out was the incredible hospitality. We were an impromptu group who dropped in today, and the owner and resident artist was so gracious and welcoming. She took the time to show us all around and share insights into the pieces, making the entire experience feel personal and inviting.
It is rare to find such beautiful art coupled with such a warm and generous welcome. We genuinely appreciated the time she spent with us today. Thank you for making an impromptu visit feel like a special occasion! Cheers - Susan”
“It's an erotic art gallery. I haven't been in too many but the folks here were really nice, and the art was interesting even when it wasn't a swipe right for me.”
“Really nice little shop. Looks like a museum. If you want to buy something, you should definitely budget more money. Still, the store is worth a visit if you're in the area.”
“Absolutely AMAZING destination for anyone who CANNOT be pleased with a standard gift! Handmade goods priced with the artists and the customers in mind, I don't think I could recommend this place MORE! Everything is kept clean, stocked, and the workers don't hesitate to let you know about the stories attached to each artist, if you want to take the step outside of just a "plain" shopping experience. Their website is gorgeous too! But the store experience is worth it, if only because you can see and hold and learn about the pieces in a really cool way. Absolutely 10/10 unique and irreplaceable part of Pacific Place!”

“I'm really happy with my experience working with the Apex Art Lab team! I had a few projects that were meaningful to me and wanted professional help to make these pieces stand out and last. AAL made everything a breeze, from design to delivery and installation.
I had two old De Gournay wallpaper panels I wanted to frame for my bedroom. The original owner steamed them off the walls so they were thick, crinkly and rolled up. The main challenge, in my mind, was to get them to lay completely flat without bubbles or ripples. They were also different sizes and needed to be trimmed down slightly. The other project was creating a shadow box containing medals from my previous adventures that I have very fond memories of.
I primarily worked with Brenna and Jo for design. They both have a really good eye and helped me pick the right frames for each piece. Jo was excellent at helping me with the shadow box layout and design. There were a ton of decisions to make and Jo made the process fun instead of overwhelming. I'm really happy with the quality of Jay's craftsmanship, especially with the shadow box. Impeccable work!
The ornate gilded mirror is something I happened to see in their beautiful studio. Brenna said she restored it herself and it was exactly what I was looking for to go over my fireplace. It's beautiful and unique.
I would not hesitate to return to AAL for any future projects. Thank you AAL for bringing these awesome pieces to life!”

“Axis Pioneer Square is one of the best venues in the Seattle area! I have had the pleasure of shooting multiple weddings here and always love seeing it transform with each couples vision. It's truly a memorable spot that feels both upscale and fun for everyone attending!”
“This Kobo location is much smaller than their ID counterpart but offers a great selection of home goods. This is a great place to shop for gifts and little luxuries.”
“Decided to try bidding in an auction. Since i have only once (back in the early 70's) gone to an auction...and (managed to bid against my husband!),because of our "stay-at-home" edict placed on the population of CA-decided to give it another shot.Saw a sweet little Lalique "Happy Cat" up for sale, decided that i have at least two people who are very much cat lovers that would love owning it and made that my "ease into" the auction game. The people at Mroczek Bros. were very helpful and patient with me, and made the process easy. i was the winning bid (!), they did a wonderful job of shipping it with a lot of protection, and arrived in perfect condition!! i had done some research into Lalique and when it arrived i can say without any hesitation it was 100% Lalique and not a blemish on the item. i have it stashed away as a very special gift and i know it will be much loved by whomever is the lucky person that gets it!Thank you Mroczek Bros. for helping make my first "real" foray into the auction world a very happy experience!! i highly recommend their company for anyone looking to sell or buy. Very professional and helpful. Carol R.”
