“Love coming here. Favorite thing: the owner's out working with the rest of them, he ain't just sittin' around. I never got stinkeye or cold shoulder for not being from around here like I've felt at a few other places, which really felt great. Never been somewhere with gasboys but I didn't really mind it. Store's got great selection and great food. I've driven a half hour just for a burger and I don't even care.”
“Lovely small town store. It has a little bit of everything and everything you need. Beer, ice , bread, sodas, you name it they probably have it. The owner greeted me as I walked in and was there to checkout my purchase. He knew my in laws and asked about the family. Highly recommend you stop here if you don't need to "go to town"”
“This was a great little grocery store in a tiny Washington town. Had everything we need for our camping a couple of miles away. People were nice store was clean. Prices were reasonable.”
“My spouse and I had a vehicle/RV break down almost in their parking lot this weekend. The grocery store owners Jaime and Daryl were amazingly friendly, and they allowed us to stay in our RV overnight till we could arrange transport home. They even went out and bought us dinner last night since we had no way to leave the parking lot! We had purchased lunch and snacks in the grocery store earlier in the day and everyone inside the store was pleasant and helpful as well. If you are ever near this place just stop in and say hello, buy a snack or drink to keep this place open forever! Our rating is a 20 out of 10!”

“This place is my go to for non-ethanol gas for my yard equipment, as well as diesel fuel for my truck. The people running the place are friendly and very helpful. It's always nice and clean inside as well, with lots of cool stuff. I always try to buy local when I can, and this place is da bomb. ??”
“My boyfriend and his family recently moved to the Salkum area and I am extremely grateful I found this store yesterday! In the past if we needed any last minute groceries for dinner (usually produce) I would go to either the Salkum Market which often wouldn't have what I needed and if they did it was SO expensive. So then I would end up having to drive all the way to the Red Apple which from where I live is much further than Brenda's. Plus all of the staff members whom ive encountered thus far have all been super friendly and helpful.”
“Kinda outdated interior in quite a few ways, store has a minimum for credit sales that can be a little annoying to meet but otherwise haven't had a bad experience. Haven't really got gas here before though.”

“Best place on this highway to fill up on snacks. Good selection and extras only a small town grocery would carry vs the convenience gas stations dotting this mountain pass.”
