“Superb humans right here. Helpful, patient and this is just some kind stuff right here. Do you actually need to own a thing that you might need 1-5 years apart. I have enough stuff, accumulating stuff is so 1980's.”
“It is a very nice place, the trainers take their work very seriously, giving each person time to explain, always in a good mood, it is definitely a place that I would recommend.”

“This is a great place to see a show. I've been for general admission (open floor) and seated. Both have their advantages but here I prefer seated. Great sightlines and really good sound system. My reason for a 4 rather than a 5 is their ticket prices since they partner with Ticketmaster and utilize dynamic pricing, pricing out your average fan.”
“Lots of helpful books. Birding supplies. Centrally located, north of UW. More than birding, they provide information that explains the ecosystem in which birds live their cycle of existence.”
“I always seem to find the things that I want to buy
I bought a headlight cleaning and polishing kit that when I was done made my headlights look like brand new, the cost of new ones $300.
It got rid of all the yellowing and cloudiness. Cost $2”
“The webpage reads open on Monday and Tuesday;but it's really Wednesday through Sunday with live blues music Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights at 8:00 + Great people!”
“Open and serve dinner at 8pm. They make the best dinners they can from the donations they get. If you're a picky eater go elsewhere. They have a small shelter that is usually full- have a back up plan for the night.”

“The foundation's aptitude testing is objective and thorough. It will give participants a more concrete idea of where their strengths and weaknesses exist. Provides a useful delineation between aptitudes you are born with versus acquired skills.”
“We had a great visit to the community center. We chanced upon a tea ceremony demonstration conducted by sensai Bonnie and attended that which was both informative and delicious. The photo essays around the walls was really well done and I enjoyed reading the stories of those people. There is also a great antique shop which had handmade bowls from Japan which were really a great deal.”
“Amazing community resource! Have just about every tool you can imagine. Great not having to buy tools that you might only need once. To people saying they stopped by and no one was there: it's staffed by volunteers, so don't expect it to be able to staff like a for-profit business.”
“So thankful for this rescue. I got my dog Scooter back in 2014 from them. Unfortunately, Scooter on 5/23/25 attacked my 4 year old son over some food that fell on the floor. It was traumatic and heartbreaking to witness and I’m still in shock and processing. I always envisioned that I would be with him through end of life. I never thought I would ever be in the position but I needed to quickly re home him since he could no longer stay at home with the kids. They took Scooter back without question after almost 11 years. Although it’s the hardest thing I have ever done I am glad to know he is in good hands. I am devastated but relieved. After countless camping trips, hikes, walks, cuddles, and good times I’m sad but happy to know that he is safe back at ECPR.”
“all kinds of literature for sale at cost that i didn't even know existed! something for everyone seeking recovery (from the 'mothership' of 12-step) even if you're in another 12-step fellowship. this place welcomes volunteers and occasionally holds meetings and gatherings... feels like home away from home. you just have to hang out there a bit to understand, but i'm pretty sure you'll end up glad that you did.”
“The salvation army is like my family. They treat you like family and include you in everything. As a kid in the salvation army it is the safest place for kids?”
“I can't say enough good things about Queen Anne Helpline. Their unwavering commitment to preventing homelessness and ensuring access to basic needs for everyone is truly inspiring. The organization provides critical support to individuals, elderly folks, and families in need, and it's clear that they go above and beyond to make a real difference in our community.
What really stands out is how they’ve mobilized volunteers from all walks of life, as well as partnerships with local grocery stores and businesses, to ensure that no one is left behind. Their efforts are making a significant, positive impact on the lives of so many, and it’s heartwarming to see how the entire neighborhood has come together to support this cause.
The team is dedicated, compassionate, and truly working to build a stronger, more supportive community for all. I’m proud to support QA Helpline and I encourage anyone looking to give back to check them out. They are making a lasting difference!”
“My home in 2012 and 2013 when I had no place to go home. I got shelter, food, clothing, computer access, resume building, sisterhood bonds, bus vouchers, and valuable life lessons that I will never forget.”
“Very kind people the idea of emulating a store quells the feeling of percussion. The name is very misleading as a market inherently requires a monetary or physical trade.”
“It’s usually fantastic, staffed and volunteered by wonderful people who treat everyone with kindness, respect, and dignity. For real, they are beautiful souls. However, today there was someone working there I’d never seen before - an older lady with glasses, a baseball cap, and a limp - and she was so rude. Yelling at the entire line bc more than 10 people went inside at once (tho we had no instruction or clue this was the policy); and yelling at an Asian woman looking at some free bunches of flowers to choose from, “I don’t have time for this!” and when the same smiling Asian woman asked a question in her native language, the worker woman replied, “I speak English!” Horrible and not representative of the rest of the staff and volunteers.”
“Beautiful vintage building, so incredible to see, original chalk boards and handrails, i loved all the character and charm this building has. Ample parking on two levels. One bathroom per floor is not ideal if you are there for a large event as we were. The outdoor area could use some love and life, it looks run down . Dont miss the metal slides that are far more fun than any plastic yellow slide of today.”
“I love the selection of clothing, accessories, art and housewares at this gem of a thrift store. The volunteers are all friendly and helpful. The shop is sparkling clean and the prices seem fantastic”
“I visited St Francis House for the first time just a few days ago and I never knew how many services they provide to people in need. I am truly moved by the kindness and generosity of the people who I met there. I will make sure to make another visit next month and recommend it to others who need assistance.”
“An amazingly organized organization contributing to the care of needy kids in Seattle. They work with a multitude of agencies to provide clothing and necessities. Cannot begin to appreciate how much they do and what a great place to volunteer.”
“This is a comforting and lovely place. It's a bit small and could definitely use more space, but otherwise it's a great place for many people who struggle due to various life circumstances, especially LGBTQ+.”

“The Royal Esquire Club is one of the oldest members clubs on the West Coast. As a born and raised Washingtonian, I have seen it and been near the building my whole life. Now, seeing it updated and so useful. I live the Royal Esquire Club for the next generation”
“Crista ministries - the one ministry uncompromisingly working for the kingdom of God through international outreach, school, assisted living, Camps etc. I love the resolve of the leadership team for biblical principles. Employees share the word of God for their clients freely (not constrained like other companies), pray for each other and have devotions. If you are a Christian and devoted for the cause of Christ - this the place you need to work to advance the Great commission as well as for personal development where you are paid but also living your values.I pray for them to continue in their resolve and be a light for other Christians companies not to compromise the biblical principles for a profit of money. Crista - trusts on the provision of God while focusing on the right thing. God bless Jacinta Tegman, CEO.”

“The Spirit at work.
A well structured, transformational program to get people across the 'pond' intact, and ready for a blessed life.
Best of Seattle. Historic Landmark.
Amazing Volunteers. Great Staff. Involved Stakeholders.
Enjoy the clip ??⛵?”
“I've been a fan and a patron for years. This place hits all the right notes: recycles old computers; supports good causes; sells reliable gear cheap; offers solid customer service.”
“The puppy yoga class was so fun and well-run! There were so many puppies from a few litters running around and making friends with everyone. The staff encouraged the puppies to move around the room so you had a chance to meet all of them!
The puppies are clearly happy, well-cared for and set up with for a great start to life with good socialization. They live with foster families, offering them lots of love and personalized attention.
The instructor led us through gentle yoga with thoughtful cues to adjust the poses to your body.
The facility and mats were kept remarkably clean, and any messes (and of course puppies will make them) were cleaned up at lightning speed.”
