“The staff was friendly and helpful. The bed/mattress was very comfortable. The room is standard size and the bathroom vanity was outside the toilet n shower. The bathroom door had a frosted window that my light night shined through at night was very helpful. There was a safe, microwave and fridge in the room. The a/c unit in my room was a bit smelly and dusty. I had to wash it with soap. The cheap version of k cup machine was the worst coffee that I got in Seattle. Bring your own tea bags if you were a tea person ( their organic tea bags were almost as bad as their coffee.) There was a hot water machine in the lobby that you can get hot water anytime. A Trader’s Joe, a small and delicious Chinese restaurant and U district light rail station were 2 blocks away in different directions. A small bodega right across the street. No washer/dryer. Location seemed convenient but every other block around the hotel was vacant/empty. Self parking at secured underground parking was $25 a day. On the last day I found out we were staying the poor part of university district. About 10-15 minute drive to the uni of wa was the posh area, like you were in Hampton. Beware there was an amenity fee $24.99 a day/night that automatically charged to your room without notice if you booked through a third party.”

“We had a great stay at the Belltown inn. The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Rooms were clean, 10 minute walk to Pike Market was comvient, and they offer a shuttle service to the airport and Cruise piers.”

“Our room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. We had a nice, quiet stay and will definitely choose the Mediterranean again when we visit our daughter in Seattle. Make sure you visit the rooftop!”

“Situated in a laid back, corporate, area of town, I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. We had a seamless check in process and our room was of great quality for this level of hotel. The room was even equipped with light workout equipment incl yogo mat and exercise ball. The room was very spacious.

The gym was excellent. For this style of hotel, it had a wide range of equipment for both cardio and resistance training. The machines in the gym were high quality.”

“Hotel is great, king room is big and clean, cleaning service is great. Location is closeby to the convention center, and I recommend waling to the bay area, beautiful walk.
Negative part is that the hotel doesn't have any package storage for the guests. They use fedex inhouse office that charges around 10$+ per package even if they stored it for 1 hour..
When I asked the lobby about it they didn't mention the cost of holding the packages.”

“This was hands down the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. From the moment we pulled up, the staff made us feel welcome by helping with our bags as soon as we opened the car door. They were incredibly attentive, professional, and genuinely kind never once making us feel pressured or expected to tip, which we really appreciated.

The hotel itself was absolutely beautiful. Our terrace had the most incredible view overlooking the public market and Ferris wheel, and we loved watching the ferries cross the bay. It was the perfect Seattle experience, and the location couldn’t have been better.

Every detail made our stay feel luxurious, from the beautiful accommodations to the unbelievably comfortable robes. Thank you to the entire staff for creating such a memorable experience. We can’t wait to come back and will absolutely be recommending this hotel to anyone visiting Seattle!”

“This was one of the best hotel experiences I have had. Valet did a great job having our car ready at a quick text. The front desk staff were friendly. The room was fantastic, including the large tub. It was one of the main draws for us to stay here aside from the convenience of location. My only possible feedback is that they only had two elevators running and the line to get in was quite long most of the time when we returned from exploring. And, being on the 18th floor it wasn't really a great option to take the stairs.”

“Amazing experience with the quality and professionalism of everyone we came across. Friendly, cordial, eager to help. Location was just fantastic. On route to bus #70, close to downtown, parking was available with additional but affordable cost. Loved it, and will come back again.”

“Alex at Embassy Suites Seattle is a gem. He listened carefully, helped deescalate a tense situation with professionalism and kindness, and even delivered what I needed straight to my door. Calm, observant, and genuinely helpful. Truly appreciated.”

“The reason that I am not giving the Four Seasons Seattle five stars is due to the food. The poolside ceviche was fishy, had too much liquid in it, and had too little salt. The food served at our event's buffet was lack luster and they did not have enough food for the group.”

“Check in was quick, curbside unloading was easy. Valet parking with unlimited in/out privileges. Room was large with nice sitting area. Mini fridge, coffee maker, no microwave. Good so far!”

“We stayed here on 12/7 to 12/8. I can't say enough good things about this place. Pool / Hot Tub were perfect. The breakfast was amazing. And both the staff who checked us in and checked us out in the morning were pleasant and friendly. STAY HERE!!”

“Hotel with lovely decor and good sized rooms. Service is friendly etc but I have removed 1 star because of the ridiculous ‘amenity fee’. This practice / stealth tax needs to stop!”

“Older hotel but location is very convenient. Room was quiet and I rested well. Staff is super helpful and friendly. Breakfast included is very standard. Has parking.”

“You get what you pay for. Rooms are a little run down but they’ve got their own distinct charm. Stuff was amazing, helping us change rooms, letting us borrow items to get ready for a wedding. The room we got moved to had some interesting history as Kurt Cobian’s go to spot.”

“We planned for a late arrival around 9PM and due to travel delays ended up being almost 4 hours later. We called as soon as we knew about the delays and their team accommodated. The room was perfect for a lower cost option in the area. Highly recommend.”

“ALWAYS BEEN A PLEASURE TO BE AT THE SILVER CLOUD INN AT UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON. FOR MY WIFES TREATMENTS AND DOC APPOINTMENT FOR HER AT UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON HOSPITAL. PLACE FRIENDLY, CLEAN, FOOD GOOD, BEER, DRINKS, ROOM CLEAN, HELP FRIENDLY, ALWAYS WE GET THE SAME ROOM WITH BOTH OF US HAVING DISABILITY”

“Great clean rooms. But I did have a couple issues. First. My TV was busted and the color was messed up. Almost like someone crashed into it. And the second was there was never enough seating in the morning at breakfast. We had 6 in our party so it was very difficult at times. But with that being said there were some great things to say. Shower was great! Beds were good and clean. It's close to the freeway and easy to get to the space needle. I would say here again.”

“Arriving in Seattle, we stayed at a different hotel that lacked essential amenities. Following a recommendation, we relocated to the Thompson, which provided a much better overall experience. The staff is kind and go out of their way to support their guests with anything they may need. The rooms are clean and modern. The view from some of the rooms was remarkable. The location is perfect, just a walking distance to the market and restaurants. We’ll definitely return to the Thompson for future visits.”

“Very nice hotel with great rooms and lots of nice touches. There were just a few things that keeps it from earning a true 5 stars.

First off, our room was great. It had a decent view. We got upgraded to a more spacious room and really appreciated it.

The bathroom is nicer than it appears in photos and overall the room was very clean and comfortable. Location was great and is close to the waterfront and SAM.

The in room breakfast was tasty, although the bagel in my lox could have been nicer. It felt like a bagel from a budget grocery store. But eveything else (2 egg breakfast, fruit plate) was tasty.

When we checked in, our room was not available although we had a noon checkin. That was disappointing but understandable. When we finally did get our rooms, our bags were not yet delivered and we needed to wait to have our belongings in the room. One of our room keys didn't work, and by the second day our second room key also didn't work so we needed a replacement. The rooms aren't as well designed for room service as there weren't enough chairs for us to eat at the table. Either way the breakfast we ordered to the room was not set up for us so we needed to set it up ourselves. They also forgot the cream and honey for the tea that they offered us when we ordered. Their limes weren't juicy at all.

However most of this is nitpicking.

At their price point we very much enjoyed our stay at Hotel 1000 and will likely be coming again.”

“Good location , friendly and helpful staff especially the house keeping, comfortable clean rooms and restaurant was not bad but OMG elevators were horrible. The hotel got 3 , one that isnt working at all , the that keeps shaking like its gonna fall and the other make a terrible noise every time the door opens. They really need to repair those lifts if they need them to handle high occupancy.”

“OVERVIEW: This is an ecclectic boutique hotel located in Seattle. Conveniently located within walking distance of Downtown, the Waterfront, Pikes Market & Belltown. While I had a rental car, I found myself walking most places. There's an advantage to this as it allows you to get the feel for the neighborhoods and experience more. I have been to Seattle numerous times, specifically this area as well. However there were glass blowing shops, retail stores, coffee shops and other single-owned businesses that I have otherwise missed when driving the area and due to having to pay closer attention to traffic and less of the scenery. LOCATION: The location is perfect. Located on the Metrolink, within walking distance of downtown, the pier, the waterfront, the space needle, and any coffee shop you coukd want to go to. A convenient location that is extremely walkable and safe during both the daytime and evening hours. INTERIOR: Tastefully brightly colored. Lobby with an easily accessible and friendly front desk. Elevators are adjacent to the lobby. They have a Fitness facility, a small kitchen area, a small bar area, and very comfortable seating in the lobby. I came during Christmas, and it was wonderfully decorated to include reindeer, a tree, and a surprise. Find the elf every night and win a complimentary gift. I won the last night I was here and was extremely thrilled with the cup, hot chocolate, cake pop, and complimentary beverage coupons. This is an encouraging environment in which to have fun with an air hockey table, multiple board games, puzzles, and a Pac-Man video game old school. And yes, I did observe several people over my 4-day stay that did partake in the fun and games. It was a very relaxed environment. PARKING: There are three options for parking. You can use the underground parking which is secure and very convenient. You can park on the outdoor top deck, which I did as well. Or you can choose street parking which I do not advise. Parking is at this time of the review $42 a night. It is well worth it. There is no valet option, but you really don't need it. There is a covered overhang that is more than adequate for four vehicles in case it should be inclement weather by your arrival or departure. When you depart, please keep in mind that it is a left turn only. You are pulling onto a one-way street. LODGING: Upon arrival you receive a spacious room with a queen size bed or two double beds and option of one bathtub or a shower and an air conditioning unit and usually a view of either the city or the monorail. I chose the city and was very pleasantly surprised the rooms were quiet. I did run the air conditioner fan just for white noise and slept like a baby. There is a small chair with an ottoman in the room as well as a very large screen TV and a huge desk. The room was extremely clean. I did not find the usual dust bunnies or hair anywhere within the room or bathroom. COMPLIMENTARY: You receive unlimited free bottled water & coffee. In addition, they have complimentary pineapple infused water, which was quite tasty. They do have additional beverages and snacks for purchase. They offer complimentary umbrellas for use on those inclement weather days. They are colorful and large, making it easier for your visibility. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Outstanding. I dont say that lightly, I measure this based upon my previous stays at The Peninsula Beverly Hills, Beverly Hills Hotel, Intercontinental, Four Seasons, and Fairmont Brands to mention a few. Service with the front desk was professional, personalized & knowledgeable about the area. While checking you in, they treat you as if they are a concierge. You don't feel rushed. They answer any and all questions you have and make you feel very welcome. They have an "Everything" button on your telephone that was answered by the third ring . . . Every time. CONCLUSION: Will I be back? The question is, WHEN will I be back.”

“Stefan Yang is a huge asset to this Hotel.
He turned an inconvenient Situation for us which was out of his control into an accommodation, comfortable, likable and enjoyable stay. We have stayed at Kimpton Hotels before and it’s Because of people like Mr. Yang, which we will keep staying. Thank you so much for the experience.”

“We stayed here for 9 nights and were very happy. Diamond members get half off parking too. It was a great location a block from a grocery store and 3 blocks to the space needle, art museum and monorail to get to the pike market area. We were super happy and if I returned to Seattle I would stay here.”

“Highly recommend! Great value!

Checked in and had some issues with our reservation, but Ms. Linh at the front desk, who was extremely polite and professional, promptly cleared up the issues. Water-facing balconies have a fantastic view. Parking is secure and easy.

It’s a great place to experience Seattle!”

“Our 2-night, 3-day stay was absolutely worth it. The location is very convenient and within walking distance of many popular attractions. Just a short walk from the hotel and you'll find the Pike Place Market, restaurants, coffee shops, the waterfront, the ferry terminal, and souvenir shops. The Space Needle and Chihuly Garden and Glass are also walkable if you still have the energy, although they're only about a 6–8 minute drive away.

One of the most important things missing from the room was a microwave. So if you want to reheat food or snacks in the evening, there isn't one available to use.
The room feels and look clean. The mattress was a little too soft and sank noticeably when lying down.

The area is fairly quiet, except for the occasional sound of passing trains, which was manageable. The Wi-Fi signal was somewhat weak (perhaps because we were staying on the 4th floor?), but overall, our experience was good.”
