“We recently downsized but still needed 2 guest rooms for our kids. We went to Joe's showroom and liked the quality and style of the wood frames as well as the mechanical pull down (which is cheaper and easier to handle than the more expensive ones sold at other stores). He delivered as promised and spent the day working on the installation. The kids came over and spent the night, they loved the beds. If you are looking to make the most of the room you have, I would highly recommend Joe and Murphy Bed Place.”
“Sean helped me today and he was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! Superb customer service. He helped me find everything I needed and then I picked up my order from their warehouse a few minutes later. I’m not sure the communication between the store and the warehouse is good though. When we got there we had to wander around trying to find any living being — the doors were open but nobody was there until we spotted someone at the warehouse area itself. Neither did they anticipate the pick up. They did end up putting our mattress together for us though.”

“Today we purchased Harrison Spinks Northumberland Beds, Luxury toppers, and adjustable bases from Vic, who took the time to find out our special needs and wants. Vic was exceptionally knowledgeable in what he thought we would feel comfortable in, and he was spot on. Having just arrived here and still waiting for our furniture to arrive, he immediately let us know they would provide us with a bed while we were waiting for the new one we ordered. For complaints that mattresses are too firm - ours took a while to break it, and we rotated it several times as part of this process. We were warned accordingly. It's taken about a month but broken in great and now very comfortable.”

“Had a good and fun/educational visit at The Futon Shop. It was our first time there and we came away with a nice futon cover, after some pleasant interactions with the people there.
Learned all about some unique products the store carries, including a vegan fabric/leather made from cork. Although we weren't there looking for a bed or piece of furniture, we noted a very extensive collection of beds/sleeping options and interesting furniture.

“We’re in the market for a new mattress, and it’s amazing how much mattress technology has evolved since we bought our last one 15 years ago — and how much our preferences have changed too. After trying a few traditional options, we stopped by our local Purple store to explore their innovative cooling mattresses.
We were assisted by Emma, who was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the process of choosing the right mattress (we ended up with the Restore Premier). She was knowledgeable and, most importantly, exceptionally patient—taking the time to answer all our questions, sometimes more than once. Emma struck the perfect balance of being attentive while also giving us the space and time to try out different options comfortably.
Her professionalism and warm demeanor made the entire experience stress-free and genuinely enjoyable. We highly recommend working with her!”
“My husband and I had a really great experience here when we went out looking to buy a new couch. We were helped by Sam and she was so great to work with and really attentive to our needs. I have lots of pain due to MS and we had space constraints. The other staff were really great and available too. The selection was superior to all the other furniture stores in the immediate area we visited that day. Ultimately we settled on what would be a very timeless looking chair for me to use at home with my heating pad. Once we found it they didn't try to up sell and were very accommodating due to my condition. Having had the new chair for a few weeks now, we just ordered a second one to have for when guests come over. I can't thank the staff here enough for being so helpful and accommodating. We'll make this store our first stop on all future furniture shopping trips.”
