“Stopped in to buy a complete, they had everything I asked for and some really cool options for shop decks, the one I got was kind of a Newport theme and it was designed by the guy who was working so that was pretty awesome ~all in all the experience was phenomenal I had a great time looking at their vinyl and stickers, and the service was amazing. “Located in Ballard the story is neatly tucked on a side street. Found it! Went inside to purchase a Sashiko cap! Chatted up the attendants and found a t-shirt to go with the hat. Know this, if u are a big guy the jeans and shirts are few. They have a good selection of brands and if u get lucky the denim is yours! Friendly staff, decent location! Next to the locks!”

I bought a pair of boots online and Lauren went above and beyond to promptly provide me with lots of helpful info and advice, both by email and over the phone, often outside of normal business hours. She helped me with questions about everything from product to sizing to shipping, she took photos of stuff in the store, she followed up with UPS to help me navigate a change of delivery address, and when my package arrived it even came with a personalized thank you note. I'm not sure I've ever dealt with a shop that provided more attentive and detailed service. 11/10.”

“So sad to hear that Kuhlman is closing. For several years now whenever I pick up something new it's straight to Kuhlman to have Scott work his magic. He has keen eye, more than one person's fair share of skill and talent, and is always incredibly kind, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, and I will be keeping an eye out to see if he ends up opening a smaller more tailoring specific (less retail oriented) operation here in Seattle. If you are looking for a skilled and trustworthy go-to tailor I recommend you do the same. If not, it has been my pleasure to be a patron of his business, and my wardrobe is certainly better off for it.”

He was so helpful and specific, taking the time to understand exactly what I was looking for. He didn't just point me in a general direction; he guided me through different options, provided perfect advice on style and color, and helped me find everything I needed.
Paulo also did my measurements expertly and efficiently, making sure everything would fit perfectly. His attention to detail and professional guidance made the whole process completely stress-free.

“Great selection of clothing but prices are on another level of expensive. Also, it'd be great if the staff were more knowledgeable about the historical significance of Eddie Bauer and the origination of puffer jackets. I'm pretty sure, based on what I learned at the Museum of History and Industry, that Eddie Bauer invented one of the original puffer jackets, and I think the store should celebrate that success more prominently. Eddie Bauer should tell its Seattle-based origination story more. There was a timeline display on the wall, but I think most people interpret it only as decorative art, and even the employees seem to read it for the first time when I asked them the puffer jacket question.”

“I come in here at least once a week with my partner. We love it. This store is a great place for fun blind boxes, fidget toys, candles, socks, clothes, magnets, hats, coloring books, vinyls, and so much more. Definitely a spot to hit if you’re exploring the city or looking to get a gift for someone. The staff here are super friendly and helpful too. There was something missing from one of the blind boxes I bought and they helped me exchange it for a new one. Overall a great store and experience in here. ALSO, make sure you purchase things with your phone number so you can get points!”
“I got my wedding tux from Tom James, the first time I’ve ever owned a tux, and Eric Sipe was great to work with. He was helpful and knowledgeable throughout the process, and the tux fit perfectly and looked great the day of the wedding! Not that I needed the validation, but I even got several compliments on how good the tux looked from guests who have worked in fashion and whose opinions I value highly. If/when I need custom menswear again, I will seek out Eric and Tom James.”

“Tiger underwear is the best company in the world to buy double seat or 4 panel seat briefs. This is the underwear that was worn from the 1960's to the early 1980's. The double back or more panels briefs offer a very smooth durable soft quality touch to the briefs that do last long. They offer color and many different colors including two color briefs. The owner provides fantastic service and very fast shipment and delivery”

“Don’t sleep on these smaller Gucci boutiques - I was able to get the last of a small leather piece (that is leaving the Gucci lineup) to match my larger leather piece of that same print. In fact, the standalone Gucci location in DC told me this Nordstrom Gucci Boutique had some of the last available in the country. I was on the fence at first, but easily caved in after some thought.
The guys here were also awesome! I appreciated the attention to detail, personalized recommendations, and the soft touches that I’ve come to expect. Ryan, and the other gentleman, in particular were more than nice and very friendly!”
