Black Market Skates is a fantastic local skate shop in Seattle with a phenomenal selection. It offers everything from shop decks and completes to records, stickers, and indie 'zines. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, approachable, and relaxed, providing amazing service and good vibes. They help answer questions and set up boards. The experience is highly recommended, with many customers stating they will be back for more. It is considered the best skateshop, and supporting this local business is encouraged.
My Fiance grew up skating and wanted to get a new board so he can start teaching our son, and they hooked us up with a custom complete for a great price. Even gripped the deck and mounted the trucks, attached the wheels etc. didn't mind our son running around like a mad man. Pretty cool spot.

I got the itch to start skating again and stopped in to support my local shop. Xavier (spelling?) was super helpful and friendly and walked me through the sizing and board styles to suit my riding and I walked away with a complete setup and gear. Needed help replacing parts after a few years of riding, didnt know much. Blake helped me pick all the right things, friendly and helpful staff
