The Baroness Hotel offers a great value and a walkable location to both Capitol Hill and Downtown Seattle. While the rooms are dated and lack air conditioning, they are clean and come equipped with fans. The hotel is housed in a heritage building, which means the decor reflects its age, but the rooms and the building are well-maintained in terms of cleanliness. The hotel features kitchenettes with a fridge, microwave, sink, oven, and stovetop, making it a great option for extended stays. The neighborhood is safe and clean, although the steep hills to some destinations may be a factor for guests with mobility issues. The staff, particularly Ashley and Jhenny, are described as friendly, energetic, and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure guests' needs are met. Overall, the Baroness Hotel is an acceptable budget option with a great location, despite some minor issues with the rooms and facilities.
I haven’t been there yet,but judging by the other reviews, I’m scared.

The rooms are extended stay. Very reto 1970's stove and decor in our room. Clean rooms. Towels are very stiff though. Nice staff and right next door to the Virginia Mason Hospital.
