Urban Playground is a quality, clean gym that has everything you need. It provides all the basics for cardio and weight training in a well-organized space. The gym is small, which means stretching space is limited and it can be busy at peak times, but it is never packed and often has no wait for equipment. It attracts all types of people, creating a friendly and not intimidating atmosphere where members are chill and mostly stick to themselves. The self-service arrangement means there is no front desk, allowing members to come and go as they please 365 days a year. Cameras throughout provide a sense of safety. However, there are no locker rooms or showers, only cubbies for storage. A noted issue is the stretching area's astroturf surface, on which mats and shoes can slide. The owners and management are very responsive and attentive, often cleaning the equipment themselves. The gym is easy to sign up for and cancel, and parking around the area is easy to find. Overall, it is a highly recommended gym with a much better experience than big box gyms.
Solid small gym for simple cardio and strength training. They have 3 squat racks which is great for a small gym. TRX as well. If I didn’t need a pool for my current fitness needs, I wouldn’t be canceling. I will be back tho once my body is able to handle more.

Would highly recommend this gym. Never packed but can be busy. People are friendly but stick to themselves. All types of people not just gym bros go here so its really not intimidating. Only feedback for UP is to get rid of some ellipticals and add more stair climbers!

This gym has everything I ever need, and there's never a wait for equipment. Ownership is good people. If one of the locations is in your area, you could do much worse.
