“It’d been several years since the last time I’d trained at CrossFit gym, and I was a little worried to return after fracturing my femur and tearing my mcl in an accident last year. I’m grateful Valkyrie was my first experience back. Everyone I’ve met there has been positive and fun to train with. It’s organized and run well, and is straightforward/no frills.”

“I dropped in while visiting the Seattle and had a great experience. From the moment I walked in, everyone was welcoming and friendly. Coach Tate did an excellent job explaining the workout and creating a fun environment.
If you're traveling and looking for a place to train, I highly recommend stopping by. I'll definitely drop in again if I'm back in the area!”

“I have been going to classes here for a few months and have worked with different instructors and tried a variety of classes. Classes here are rigorous and combine both strength training and Pilates. The instructors are all great and encouraging. I feel myself getting stronger over time and feeling accomplished after every class.”
“I can't say enough good things about barre3 West Seattle. The staff and instructors are always friendly and kind. I am fairly new to barre3 and will probably wind up joining this studio.
The front desk staff is always nice, the instructors always greet me and check in with me after class, and it feels like a genuine community. The customer service is top notch. The classes can be tough, but I love them. My body is adapting well. I feel like I get a good workout, and the music is great.
I will add that as an LGBTQ+ individual, I feel very included here. I look around the studio and see a diverse array of women of all identities, and I love it. It is one of the things that keeps me coming back. I highly recommend barre3 West Seattle!”
“I was in Seattle for the summer and spent a month attending classes at CrossFit West Seattle. I had an excellent experience overall! The staff was knowledge and both they and the members were friendly and supportive. I loved the mix of intense workouts and a focus on technique and form. I would definitely recommend this gym!”

“I switched gyms after 6 years so was a bit nervous trying new spots, but I've had nothing but great interactions with the coaches and members and am really enjoying the programming. The coaches are knowledgeable and concerned about your well-being and all workouts have options for your skill level.”
“I’ve had a great experience at Magnolia CrossFit for the past several months since joining. The coaching is thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely caring. And the other members make going fun and super motivating. And boy do you get a good workout.
The programming is challenging but well-structured, with a good mix of strength, conditioning, skill work, and benchmark-style workouts. The coaches create a welcoming environment without watering things down at all.
I also appreciate that the gym works well for a wide range of fitness levels. You can come in as a beginner, get clear guidance, and still feel like you’re part of the class. If you’re more experienced, there’s plenty of room to push hard and keep progressing. And everyone welcomes each other. It's awesome.”

“The gym is fantastic, the vibes are great, the decor and building are unique. But the cherry on top is the MEMBERSHIP PRICING. Unlike literally EVERY other gym, RCF has no BS joining fees and they have membership options for durations of a day, week, month, or year and it's all fully transparent on their website.
I have finally found a gym that cares about ethics and their customers.”

“I've been doing semi-personal training with Sonja at Demco Fitness for a few years and have never been bored with my training. I also train for marathons, while other Demco Fitness members have their own fitness goals, and Sonja is able to seamlessly accommodate each person's plan to meet our individual goals. This is a very community-oriented gym--your workout will definitely be challenging, but you'll also definitely have a fun time!
update: i've been going here for 11 years now and still love it. Sonja keeps workouts fun and fresh, and I still feel challenged!”

“I have been a member of Ballard Health Club for over a decade and greatly enjoy the atmosphere, physical space and most of all, the wonderful class instructors. I'm
A huge fan of all of the yoga teachers, who bring their individual personalities and practice styles to the gym, with a baseline of safety and attention to the needs of students.”
“I’ve been doing CrossFit for almost a decade and have trained at many different gyms over the years. I’m also a physical therapist who works with athletes, so I’m extremely picky when it comes to coaching quality. When I moved back to Seattle, I checked out several gyms in the area, and PUSH Box was the clear winner.
The coaches here are truly knowledgeable, professional, and welcoming. The community is engaged and friendly, and the programming stacks up with the best you’ll find anywhere in the country. One of my favorite aspects is that every class includes athletes across the full fitness continuum with beginners training right alongside highly advanced athletes.
I’ve been a member for almost six months now and have no intention of ever leaving.”

“Having an individualized program for me is huge and has gone a long way to improving my strength and confidence. “I love this studio! I've taken about 20 classes here with lots of different teachers, and every one of them has been great. I appreciate all the pointers they give about adjustments to make so you don't injure yourself. The folks on staff are consistently friendly and helpful, and it's great that they have onsite childcare for the parents! I'm not someone who has a lot of confidence about exercising, but the vibes are so good here that I love coming back.”
“TruFusion is the BEST studio in Seattle!
Great vibes, excellent instructors and extreme cleaness makes it my go to studio everyday!
Bootcamp, Pilates and HIITribe are my favorites!”

“This place absolutely lives up to its name. The community is wonderful and the fitness is so much fun. Every single class, I come away with a little bit of sweat and a whole lot of joy. Super appreciative of such a fantastic place.”
“An amazing gym. A kind and exceptionally skilled crew who offer authentic, positive, and invested support on your fitness journey. They are genuine and you never feel judged in this space.”
“I love Barre3 because they always encourage modifications and do what makes you feel strong 💪 the Roosevelt location only has 1 classroom, but if you get membership, you can also go to the Edmonds location. For me, I take Edmonds online classes at home when I couldn't make time for in person. Perfect combo - taking 2-3 classes a week has really helped my back pain postpartum. The movements are very similar to what my PT teaches me to do, 2 birds 1 stone 😁”
“Cue Crossfit is awesome! Super convenient location if you're anywhere near downtown. The owner Kaden is a really great guy. Highly recommend.
Pro Tip: If you park behind the building on Occidental, you get two hours of free parking!”

“Best community ever. Low barrier—accessibility, cost, all of it. This is gym is for people who love working out and for people like me, who do not love working out. I’m so much stronger, have more endurance, and feel healthier and more capable since beginning the boot camp program at 777. I like it so much I’ve repeated the 6-week series 8 times consecutively! The breaks in between boot camps are nice and help me sustain this ongoing practice of committing more to physical fitness. Love the coaches. Love showing up (and I’ve never said that about a gym before). Everyone is so kind and nonjudgmental. I feel so supported. Can’t recommend 777 enough.”
“Love Nikki and Row House! I don’t love working out but I actually look forward to going to these classes. She makes them fun, and taking the strength classes has really showed me the importance of strength training and how good your body can feel when you’re strong.
I’ve lost ~50 pounds since joining row house. I also started a GLP1 about a year ago, so I’m not going to hide that factor too. But the fact that I’ve gained muscle while on my medication is all because of Nikki/Row House.
My friends actually get annoyed when I turn down plans because it overlaps with my workout schedule, they can’t understand why I’d choose that over a social event. I genuinely feel off if I miss a class in my routine. I recommend it to everyone I know!”

“F45 is my favorite gym in town. I love that everyone is welcoming and friendly, no matter your level of fitness. Coaches are very attentive to form to help prevent injuries. I’ve never had an issue with classes being full/not able to book when I want to go.”
“I originally joined GLSC because it offered the widest range of hours which worked best with my busy schedule. What I found is so much more.
GLSC is a fantastic gym and neighborhood third place. This gym focuses on safe and challenging programming across all abilities, positive vibes, and community. The coaches and community are hyper supportive and make showing up regularly an absolute joy, no matter what level ability you have. The coaches also seem to be very stable and happy. The base program is an excellent place to start and its group classes will improve your conditioning, strength, coordination, flexibility, mental health, and sense of self worth and accomplishment. Each class includes a significant warm up, followed by skill practice and then a workout to get your heart rate going. The coaches do a great job of scaling the workout up and down to each member's ability, pre-existing injuries or weak spots. If you're thinking about it, STOP THINKING and just do it.”
