“I WAS SEARCHING FOR A MEXICAN MEAT MARKET AND FOUND LAURA'S ON THE WAY BACK HOME FROM SEDRO-WOOLLEY AND WE NEEDED TAMALES NOT ONLY DID THEY HAVE PORK BEEF AND CHICKEN TAMALES THEY WERE SO GOOD! It was $21.95 for a dozen and they were fresh The service was great!

“Born and raised in Skagit, I’ve been coming to this food pavilion since I was a little girl. That’s exactly why it’s so disappointing—and frankly unacceptable—how far the experience has declined.
My recent visits have been nothing short of awful. The staff is consistently rude, dismissive, and openly unpleasant. I come in to make simple purchases and get treated as if I’m an inconvenience for even approaching the counter. That kind of behavior is completely unprofessional and unacceptable in any customer-facing business.
At this point, it’s not an isolated incident—it’s a pattern. Every interaction feels cold, judgmental, and hostile. Whether it’s personal bias or just a complete lack of customer service standards, the result is the same: a miserable experience. And judging by other reviews, I’m clearly not the only one dealing with this.
Something needs to change immediately. Keeping staff who repeatedly treat customers poorly is damaging your business and your reputation. If this place is going to survive, you need to seriously reevaluate who you have representing it. Either rebuild your team with people who actually respect customers, or consider handing
the business over to someone who will.
