“If you can’t find a part anywhere else in town—and that includes the dealerships or any of the parts stores in Port Angeles/Sequim —you need to head to A-1. Most likely they have it, but you'll pay a little bit of a premium for it because they know they're the only one in town that has it.
I was working on a 2nd Gen Chevy Cruze and needed an exhaust gasket between the catalytic converter and the exhaust. Every other shop in Sequim was out, and the dealership was going to have to order it in for the next day. A-1 was the only place that actually had the gasket on the shelf and ready to go. If you're in a pinch and don't want to wait on a delivery, this is the place to go. They’ll get you back on the road today, even if it costs you a little extra for the convenience.”

“Sunnyside has been so good to us. Living in Sequim for two years this was our go to place and today we came in to town to move our last vehicle cross country, the battery was completely dead. We bought a jump start and took it to sunnyside when it cranked, told them we were planning to drive it and basically needed “a dad to look at it” so we felt safe setting out on our journey. Chris took the time to check under the hood and give us a vote of confidence, and because of our past visits we felt safe with his opinions. They have always been fair, and honest, and they love hummingbirds like us with the little feeders outside, just a great place.”

“Mike is a really great mechanic. I am wheel chair bound and my van had a problem that several shops tried, and couldn't solve. Mike had it pinne down the first visit, but had to ordeer parts. He was off the clock until they came in, and he had it fixed that same day. All for not much more than if the tow bill to a shop. Thank You, Mike. The van never ran o good.”
“Main body slide repair - This was simply fantastic! They came to check if they would be able to do the repair instead of requiring a shop to do so. Since it was a gear problem, they said they could. This was a Friday. They ordered the parts, received them Monday and made us a priority to repair. A couple hours Tuesday and it's done! The cost was lower than expected, they could take a check and we have working equipment again! We couldn't ask for better. Good customer service and knowledgeable techs.
