“Wonderful market. Exceptional quality, especially the neats, seafood and deli, the people who work here are outstanding, friendly and helpful. Prices are highter than on the mainland, but that's part of island life.”
“Awesome alternative to the local grocery stores. Support your local farmers, and this is a great way to do that. Quality selection, super high quality products and reasonable prices. Cheers!”
“This store has the best food for your money on the island hands down. The salads, sandwiches, pizzas, premade meals, baked good and snacks are unique, inspired, restaurant quality, and at reasonable prices ESPECIALLY for the island! My favorite (so far, we still have 4 more days here?) is the tarragon chicken salad with grapes and pecans, oh and the cherry chocolate chunk cookie (made with chocolate imported from France!) The ladies in charge are all so nice, and make sure you have everything you need, even when you don’t know what you need!?. The fresh fruit, vegetable and meat selection is small, but impressively varied, and top quality. Definitely make a stop her for your picnic breakfast, lunch or dinner!!!”
“Pricey Island Groceries but have everything. Every thing on-island tends to be pricey because of isolation. Very friendly and quiet place to visit. Great staff!”

“Usually, they have what you need. Employees are friendly and engaging. The prices are a tad steep, but living on an island, you are going to encounter higher prices than normal .”
“Every trip to Lopez I find more reasons to love it and this store is a big part of that. The bread selection is to die for. They have a wonderful selection and I feel right at home. Don't miss this wonderful part of the island.”
“New owners are great! The teriyaki is the best in town fresh and delicious. Wish they did it over a flame grill or there was Mac salad but I’m not going to complain it’s the best we have had available for years. There would be a picture but I eat it to fast!”

“Check this shop out as it has a lot of different items and gifts. I bought a set of 3 jams from Girl Meets Dirt as a gift to an outdoorsy friend and client. Excited to add it to her other gifts. She has two kids so they could all have a PB&J sandwich with a different jam.”
“My wife and I were on the south end of Lopez for a month house/pet sitting. We came here several times. The wings and fries are super good. Really enjoyed the friendly staff. The restaurant has daily home made desserts that are tasty. They serve a few beers and cocktails as well. The grocery store is a bit pricey but if you need it, you need it.”

“I'm from Texas we stopped for a visit in April. The owner was super friendly and helpful. They have a very nice selection of wine and beers. They also had a little bit of everything since it is a convenient store I was actually surprised to find Takis and other similar snacks.”

“Great little co-op just a street up from the big grocery store. We live in Seattle and it’s amazing how many prices were significantly cheaper than we normally find at our neighborhood co-op. Good variety and large bulk section. Updated from previous review on 2024-08-04”
“This is the "Safeway" of the island. All your basics except no deli counter, although they do stock some premade sammies and salads near the produce section. They do offer some local goods as well! Great selection of beer and wine, many Washington based. All three San Juan Island based breweries represented (especially important to this beer lover) here as well.”
“Great selection. Great staff. They have Shopper Stoppers to prevent you from buying too much stuff. Jewelry, Jam, Juice, Jerky’s and plenty of wines. Prices are great!”
