“I’ve been going to Kinwell now for 3 years & have nothing but good experiences. I appreciate the ease of scheduling online. Most labs are done quickly and in-house. Dr Nunez is very attentive and I feel heard in all my concerns and questions and don’t feel rushed. Waiting area is always clean and it’s never busy when I go in. Communication via MyChart is simple. No issues with refills. Casandra is the best MA - she performs a swift and painless blood draw every time!”

“I wish I lived near here so that I Dr. Vega could be my Dr.
I drove 3.5hrs to get some tests that I wasn't able to schedule in a reasonable time in my hometown. Not only was this the best medical experience of my life (empathy, understanding, genuine care and concern, asking appropriate questions and really listening to the answers in a human manner) but efficient, thorough, and personable.

Dr. Vega's colleagues were also just as kind and compassionate.

I honestly didn't even realize that this type of experience was around anymore.”

“I am absolutely delighted with the treatment that I received last week. The injection of steroid into my shoulder resolved my pain. Two days later, I was able to do all of my stretches without any discomfort whatsoever. The pain was absolutely gone. I did not notice any side effects.”

“I really value and appreciate my PCP Dr. Mathew Price. While he is always pressed for time and does alot of after visit documentation behind the scenes he makes time for me. What I mean is that he answers your questions. He adjusts the discussions to your level and focuses on priorities and issues relevant to you. He also works with you to understand and navigate your health concerns or conditions. I highly recommend him for your PCP as he always has the goal of keeping me healthy. I encourage people to try him out. Just don’t waste his time. Focus on your health and your issues and realize he is a person like you.”

“We went to the UW located at Northgate, for the lab draw this morning. My daughter was scared of the needle and took a while to convience her. The two phlebatomist did an amazing job calming her down. They were great with her, took their time and showed compassion through out the process. Thank you for being patient with her, for showing her you care about her feelings and for your passionate care. I appreciate both of you and i am sorry i did not get your names. Thank you thank you for making my daughter to feel safe, this means a lot. People like you two makes the word a better place.”

“I have been going here since 2016. My whole household goes here. In the past, If there were issues and I expressed frustration or concern, I'd get a follow up call from administrator or office. They resolve the issue. They are a small clinic and are one of the only medical chains that accept Medicaid insurance. With that being said, yes there can be longer wait times and booked out appointments sometimes. The trick to that is to call at 8am every morning to see if there's a cancellation for that day or schedule at another Neighbor Care location if you're mobile.

The doctors, ARNP's, PA's etc. care about you. They listen and follow up, especially in your MyChart.

**The doctors that I'd recommend are Dr.'s Roos, Chase and Knutson... Hands down the best at Lake City Neighbor Care. Dr. Hack is another good caring doctor if those are full.

In saying that, in the past Neighbor Care would get really great doctor's or case managers and all the sudden they are moving on to other jobs/places. So It can be really frustrating in that aspect. Having to start over and build a relationship with another case manager, PA, ARNP or Dr. is hard... If you have Medicaid there aren't a whole lot of options.
I personally think it's a good clinic with caring providers and yes I have and would recommend Lake City Neighbor Care to friends and family.”

“I am an UW student and I was down with Flu over the weekend. The clinic was really helpful in setting up my urgent care appointment within 2 hours. The tracking number and queue system is really helpful in estimating the wait times. I had a pleasant experience with the appointment, health check up and prescription process. I would definitely recommend this for someone who's looking for urgent care in the weekends.”

“This is for nurse Jill and Dr.Miller and other members of the care team who helped me coordinate picking up my allergy shot vials at a time when I was moving out of the country. I am not their patient (but wish I was). Both of them went beyond their call of duty to coordinate with the Shoreline clinic (where my actual care team is) to make sure I could pick up the shot vials.”
